Mekhi Phifer, who has appeared on both ER and Torchwood: Miracle Day, married his fiance, Reshelet Barnes, yesterday afternoon at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills! And from what we gather, it was an absolutely STUNNING ceremony, held on an outdoor terrace with 100 of the couple's family and friends watching on! According to eyewitness, Mekhi's son walked down the aisle with the family's chihuahua on a leash, while the groom wore a white suit and took his spot under an alter of yellow flowers, while Ribbon in the Sky by Stevie Wonder played! But it was the bride herself who rightfully stole the show, as sources continued: "When she made her entrance into the courtyard, Mekhi was completely overcome with emotion and you could tell she took his breath away. In fact, according to new reports, he's one THREE individuals who are responsible for the constant-pAArtying going on at the pint-sized pop star's Calabasas estate, which, as we've reported, has his neighbors FURIOUS! And apparently, it's with good reason! According to sources close to Biebs, he shares the home with Twist, a friend he calls King Kevi, and another who wishes to remain anonymous. These three get to live there free of charge, have their own security guard, and to the surprise of no-one, are allowed to drive all of his cars...even when their sugar daddy is out of town! Furthermore, this "King Kevi" character is the worst of them all, as he's only lived in the house for a month, and yet has managed to throw 30 parties in that time, all of which have included more women than men and lots of SIZZURP, which as we all know, is incredibly dangerous and allegedly nearly took Lil' Wayne's life! Posted: 31 Mar 2013 10:24 AM PDT We guess it's a good thing that Lindsay Lohan is pAArtying as hard as she is while drinking working her way through Brazil! Because it's beginning to look more and more like when she returns back to the United States, she'll be facing ACTUAL jail time for lying to the police and violating her probation in last year's PCH car accident! As we've reported, the troubled starlet's lawyer, Mark Heller, forged a last minute plea bargain with prosecutors and Judge Jim Dabney, which require her to spend 90 days in a lockdown rehab facility, despite everyone later realizing that there being no such thing in New York state. Therefore, we're now hearing that because the actual sentence assigned to her was, indeed, 90 days in jail that could be substituted with a lockdown treatment facility, prosecutors are now looking to amend the terms, which would either land her behind bars or in just regular rehab...and we ALL know how that's gone in the past! Guess we'll just have to wait and see what Dabney decides should be done! Although we doubt it's going to be in LiLo's favor, ESPECIALLY if he sees what she's been up to lately! Tameka Raymond LAUNCHES "Kile’s World Foundation" In MEMORY Of Kile Glover, With Sharlinda Parker, Brie Rowe & More Posted: 31 Mar 2013 08:03 AM PDT Tameka Raymond, the ex-wife of "The Voice" judge Usher, launched Kile's World Foundation over the weekend in memory of her 12-year-old son Kile Glover.  Find out about the foundation inside.... Over the weekend, Tameka Raymond (shown atop with sons Darren, Ryan & Naviyd Eli) honored the 12th birthday of her son, the late Kile Glover, with the launch of Kile's World Foundation at the Woodruff Arts Center. Shortly after Kile's passing (following a jet ski accident in 2012), Tameka announced the goals of the foundation tweeting, "Our goal is to increase water safety- thru implementing laws, policies & education. Kiles passing will not be in vain, we will see to this.” Tameka clutched little Naviyd as he listened to Kile's voice playing on some videos being shown during the event.    Tameka's sons with Usher (Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond) were in attendance to honor the memory of their big brother.    "Big Rich Atlanta" stars Sharlinda Parker and Brie Rowe and Bow Wow's mom Teresa Caldwell came out to support Tameka. She shared that Kile’s World Foundation will "offer art- based camps with multiple workshops including general instruction in the areas of acting, singing, dance, painting, illustration, music production and digital media." Posted: 30 Mar 2013 12:33 PM PDT Remember back in 2011 when a man named James Braddock sued Angelina Jolie, on the grounds that she allegedly stole key elements from his book The Soul Shattering for her movie on the Bosnian War, In The Land of Blood and Honey? Well, guess what?! The case has FINALLY been resolved, and it looks like the actress/director is in the clear! WELL. Not officially. Just tentatively! But it's looking good for her! According to U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee's ruling today, there were NOT enough similarities between the content featured in the two mediums to warrant an actual copyright violation, and therefore, Braddock must be able to successfully show cause why the suit should not be dismissed with prejudice by April 12th! Justin Bieber Facing CRIMINAL BATTERY Charges For Spitting Incident?! Sheriff's Department Planning To Recommend PROSECUTION! Posted: 30 Mar 2013 12:02 PM PDT Uh-OH! Looks like Justin Bieber may CERTAINLY be landing in anger management classes! Because if the El Lay County Sheriff's Department has it their way, the pop star will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, after allegedly spitting on his next-door neighbor! We've already reported that the El Lay County District Attorney wants to see Biebs punished for what they consider to be a disgusting, vile crime, and now, we've caught wind that once investigators for the Sheriff have completed their assessment of the situation, they will be recommending that criminal battery charges be filed against him! And get this: it's NOT just over the loogie! In fact, law enforcement sources are apparently none-too-pleased with what they describe to be a pattern forming over his disregard for the law...which as we've all seen, includes speeding tickets, reckless driving, drugs, threats...and most recently, attempting to sneak a monkey through customs in Germany! Apparently, this is the kind of the behavior that is known to escalate over time (Lindsay Lohan, anyone?) and they hope that if they can get him into the system now, they may be able to secure him the professional help to get back on track before it's too late! And we have to say...we completely, 100% AGREE! Enough is enough! Wallet and Daddy Dearest Jamie Spears, to thank for that! The pair reportedly filed a ex parte petition with the judge overseeing the legal arrangement this past Friday, in hopes to modify how her investments are currently being managed so the pop icon can amass even MORE wealth than her career has so far accumulated! According to legal documents, her money is held in separate Conservatorship and SJB Trust accounts through Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch, but due to the "changing market conditions," are hoping that the court approves 50-90% of the value going into fixed income, five-35% to go into equities, and 0-20% into alternatives like hedge and real estate funds! Inneresting! We wonder if any of these "adjustments" are being made to accommodate a possible, yet-still-unconfirmed multi-million dollar Las Vegas residency deal?! Jay-Z looked like he was in an "Empire State of Mind" yesterday, while spotted hopping out off of his chauffeur-driven SUV yesterday. HOV will be hitting the road with Justin Timberlake this summer for their "Legends Of The Summer" tour where he's expected to gross about $1.5 million per show. And Jay will spare no expense on the tour as The Sun reports he's even hired an expert to roll cigars for him and his friends in a special “Gentlemen’s Club” set up backstage.  If that sounds extravagant, Jigga can surely afford it since Forbes just named him as one of the wealthiest hip-hop artists in the world.    And in Beverly Hills.... Actor/author Hill Harper was spotted waiting for his keys at the valet of Craig's in Beverly Hills last night. Hill was joined at dinner by a mystery woman whom he was careful to avoid being photographed with. As fans count the days until the long-awaited release of her Interscope debut Broke With Expensive Taste (April 16), Azealia Banks has unleashed a clip for her "No Problems" single. Though originally intended as an Angel Haze diss, the clip takes on a life of its own as Yung Rapunzel rocks the mic at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. With her long weave, she sways from side-to-side while rapping into her iPhone and doing high kicks with her background dancers. Diplo and Steve Aiko also make cameos. Lance Gross Dishes On His Own Temptations...And The Criticism Around His Co-Star's Acting SKills Posted: 30 Mar 2013 05:05 AM PDT Lance Gross has been making his rounds promoting his new film in theaters this weekend, Temptation.  And he told Huff Post Black Voices about the criticism surrounding one of his co-star's acting skills (or lack thereof), and whether he's had his own "Temptation" style drama with any of his past girlfriends.... One of our fave hotties let the world know just how well he treats his women (damn, what happened Eva Marcille?) and why he feels like people need to fall back on slamming his co-stars.  Here's what he had to say: Last year upon the announcement of the film’s cast, there was a ton of criticism surrounding Kim Kardashian’s role. What were your thoughts on the situation? I’ve been working with Tyler since 2007 and he has a great business mind. He knows what he’s doing and he knows what he wants for his films. So I don’t really question his decisions in casting people. To Kim’s defense, she did a great job. The role that he gave her was well thought out. It was something that he believed she could execute. And I think she brought her “A-game.” I get what all the fuss was about, but at the end of the day you got to give people a chance. And I feel like she really proved herself. Throughout your career you've been viewed as a heartthrob. With that said, have you ever found yourself in a position similar to your character? Man, I’ve never been through a situation like this. I mean, of course as a man you go through that. If you got a dope girl there’s going to be people that want her. But I don’t know, I’ve always kept my “A-game” on point. I just make a point to make sure the woman that I’m with is taken care of. You got to keep it new, so I go out of my way to make them feel special. My thing is, if I’m going to be with you, I’m going to be with you to make you feel like this is the best relationship that you ever had. And that’s what I aim for to make sure none of this happens to me. Since you’ve never experienced any issues in your personal life, was that a challenge in preparing for the role? It was and it wasn’t. Because I have a lot of friends who are married and who have dealt with infidelity, so I pretty much picked their brains and experienced it through them. And for me, personally, everyone has experienced losing someone. Whether it’s a relationship that fell apart or death, everyone knows that feeling. Meet The Newest Reality Star Who's Stirring Up Controversy: "Real World" Star Marlon Williams Admits To Sex With A Man...But Denies He's Gay OR BiSexual Posted: 30 Mar 2013 04:00 AM PDT Former Texas Tech football player Marlon Williams, who stars on MTV's "Real World: Portland",  opened up about his budding rapper career and his controversial views on sexuality during his promo rounds.  Meet the preacher's kid inside....   Marlon Williams, one of the stars of MTV's "Real World: Portland", opened up about his life and the interesting back story viewers will see unfold on the show this season.  And to answer the question we know you're asking: No, we didn't know "Real World" still came on.  Hence, why the network seems ready to stir up some controversy. But alas, a new season is on deck and a black roommate is front and center.  The former Texas Tech footballer player is the son of a preacher man and spent most of his young life traveling as a military brat.  After failing to go "pro" following a successful football stint in college, he went through a period which led to a few interesting choices, including sex with a man. In interviews with XXL and The Advocate, he talks about sexuality, his budding rap career, and explains his views on religion.  Here are the highlights:   The Advocate: OK, this is awkward. MTV tells us “Marlon has had intercourse with a man before and does identify with being bisexual. But he says that he is more attracted to women and doesn't think he would be with a man again.” We could just take their word for it, but we’d rather you tell us yourself how you identify and why. Marlon Williams: Well, I don't consider myself bisexual, because I'm not sexually attracted to men. I did have sex with a man but my reasoning for it was different. It was in a hectic time of my life filled with fighting a lot of life battles. I was just making a lot of decisions that I would not normally make. At that time in my life the gay community embraced me, and it is one of those things that just happened. I have nothing against people who are bisexual or gay, but that is not my preference. You’re the son of a preacher and were raised with conservative values. Does that cause conflict for you in terms of your sexuality? Well, sex in any form is hard, because the beliefs of my parents say that you are supposed to wait for marriage. The big misconception used in religion is that some sin is worse than others. That isn't true. All sin is equal. Therefore, anything I do that is sinful can be forgiven if I repent and make changes. My belief is that God forgives anybody who believes and wants a new start in life. You were a star football player at Texas Tech and were under a lot of pressure to turn pro. Do you ever resent the way other people put those kind of expectations or dreams on your shoulders? I feel that people having high expectations of me is a good thing. That means they see great things in your character and motivation. I don't agree with the how people treated me when I didn't meet their expectations, though. It's my life, I'm going to live it the way I want. I'm still the same person. It's just sometimes life throws you curveballs and you have to make adjustments. What are you working on now? I’m in the studio a lot. I just performed at SXSW. I’ve opened up for Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Mike Jones, Ying Yang Twins. I’ve been doing it, bro. Jen Williams On Deck For New Reality Show? + "T.I. & Tiny" Season 3 Super Trailer Posted: 29 Mar 2013 05:07 PM PDT Jennifer Williams may no longer be a "Basketball Wife."  But she's already in talks for her own reality show.  Deets inside, plus the "T.I. & Tiny" season 3 super trailer....   After parting ways with her frenemy Evelyn Lozada and the "Basketball Wives," Jen Williams has been focusing on her new Lucid lip gloss line.  So she's reportedly been in talks with "Love & Hip Hop" executive producer Mona Scott Young about creating her own reality series.  And we assume it'll be focused on her business ventures...and her boyfriend Cisco. She told VH1 at the "Gossip Game" premiere party this week that she and Mona are indeed in talks to do a new show.  And we're sure VH1 would welcome that with open arms.  As if they turn anything down. Rihanna Named #1 POP Star By British TV, Fires A Few Shots Posted: 29 Mar 2013 01:48 PM PDT Put ya guns in the air....Rihanna's on a firing spree.  After she was named Britain's #1 Pop star, she gave her own rant to other chicks in the game.  Check it inside... Rihanna celebrated on Instagram today after a British music tv station named her the Most Influential Pop Star.  The UK's 4Music channel based their decision on social media activity, air play and press coverage. Similar to MTV's Hottest MC's List  (like many pissed rappers believe), Britain's list didn't include talent or quality of music.  And while we know Rihanna lives out her life on Instagram with no guards up, releases most tracks off her albums as singles and stays in the press with her fun and sometimes controversial antics, it's understandable why she's deemed #1 by the music channel. Beyonce came in at #2 and Katy Perry (Rih's good friend) landed at #4. But not everybody's happy for the Rude Gal.   Some folks went off when they saw Rihanna's announcement on Instagram....and her words that went with it. Rihanna said she could use a challenge, and asked how it felt to be down there on ya knees.  She clowned about controlling your heauxs and owning this lane.   And in usual Rih Rih form, it was pretty hilar. But a few Beyonce stans and Ciara stans (remember that beef with CiCi?) took to her page to go off commenting: #BEYHIVE BEEN ON BXTCH and Whoa ho ho bad gal rih just learned how to master the three octaves she can sing now we all must get on our knees alright alright im bowing! Lol congrats tho always nice to see success And Rih's fans replied with statements like: Bow down bitchez. Chicago's Urban Prep Academy Sending 100% Of Its GRADUATES To COLLEGE Posted: 29 Mar 2013 01:01 PM PDT For the fourth year in a row, Chicago's Urban Prep Academy is sending 100% of its graduating class off to college.  Get the deets inside on the school that is setting the example for America.....   Just when you thought the next generation's success was questionable due to their lives being run by Twitter, Instagram, social media and reality tv, at least one specific group is constantly excelling. For the fourth year in a row, Chicago's Urban Prep Charter Academies can proudly announce that all of its graduating seniors have been accepted to four-year universities. This year, Urban Prep, the all male charter school excelling in a city facing the worst crime stats in America, is sending off 167 seniors (from their Englewood and University Village campuses) to institutions of higher education. Mayor Rahm Emanuel spoke about the accomplishment saying, "What this 100 percent proves beyond a doubt is that it need not be the exception but it should be the expectation for every child in the city of Chicago." Urban Prep founder Tim King expressed his excitement saying, "It's really heartwarming. It's really an inspiration. These guys are an inspiration to all of us because they show you what can happen when you really work hard and do the right thing. I feel great. There are no words to describe how powerful and wonderful it is to be a part of Urban Prep."   The country's first all-male charter high school started in 2002 out of a need to cater in an innovative way, to boys in the city.  Approximately 85% of Urban Prep students are low-income and nearly all are African-American.  The school--which operates off a lottery system and open to any Chicago resident 9th graders--has proven once again that succeeding in education is not about how much money or access your family has, it's about an unparalleled focus on students and the best teachers possible.  Watch a clip from the graduation ceremony above.  Congrats to the young men!

A few photos from the set of the TLC biopic “Crazy, Sexy Cool: The TLC Story" have emerged and the cast seems to be enjoying the gig.  Keke Palmer posed with Chilli--who's on the set as an Executive Producer and who she'll be portraying in the upcoming flick. Lil' Mama, who's playing the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, posed with Chilli in between takes. And Evan Ross is playing the role of Chilli's baby daddy/producer, Dallas Austin. Keke also posed a pic she shot with Evan during his last day of shooting.   Chilli's is still carrying around those hand bags with her son Tron's face on them.
