| Florida STILL Messes Up The 2012 Presidential Election Votes…At Least For Christian Slater! Posted: 02 Dec 2012 11:38 AM PST Poor Christian Slater! The actor took to Twitter earlier this month to document his difficulties with the state of Florida while attempting to vote in 2012 Presidential election, and announced that after five hours waiting in line, confusion over his identity and voter registration, he was FINALLY able to cast his ballot and perform his civic duty! Or so he THOUGHT! According to a letter he received from the state a few days ago, his ballot was ultimately discounted and TRASHED because his signature on the provisional ballot didn't match the signature on his registration records...because they have him down as CHRISTINA. Seriously?! WTF?! All we have to say is that THANK goodness the election didn't come down to Florida this year, because we doubt he'd be taking the snafu in such stride if that were the case! Posted: 02 Dec 2012 11:22 AM PST For the past month or so, we've been teased with a few shots of Beyoncé back in the recording studio, no doubt hard at work on her follow-up to 4, and while she's been spotted by herself and also collaborating with Miguel, we finally know for certain that she's also enlisted her own husband, Jay-Z, to help with the new album! Jo'zzy, the protegé of Missy Elliott and Timbaland, took to Twitter earlier this weekend to share a photo of the husband and wife team looking focused and hard at work during what appears to be a writing session, which she captioned:
Ch-ch-check 'em out (above)! Of course, she was forced to delete the original picture and tweets after the hoards of Bey's fans descended upon her account like wild hyenas, but we now have documentation that they're collaborating, and that's all that matters! Just AH-Mazing! Especially because it implies that our lady Sasha Fierce will be once again teaming up with Missy and Timbaland...and THAT, as far as we're concerned, is very good news! This album is going to be OUT OF CONTROL! And we COULD NOT be any more thrilled! Keep it up, gurl! We are in DESPERATE need of some new Bey tunage in our lives! How about U? As if the ear-shattering shrieks of Toronto-born Beliebers weren't LOUD enough! THIS must have sent them through the effing ROOF! Last night, Justin Bieber took the Believe tour back to his native Canada when he performed at Toronto's Skydrome, and in honor of his homecoming, the audience was treated to a SURPRISE appearance from a fellow Canuck - Drizzy Drake! And believe us, it was AWESOME! What tickles our heartstrings most of all about this, however, is Drake's LOVELY aside to the audience about how much he appreciates Justin for helping him accomplish one of his childhood dreams of performing at the Skydrome! TOO sweet! It really adds something special to the whole performance, doesn't it?! We reported back in January that Mario Lopez had kicked off the new year by proposing to Courtney Mazza on a beach in Mexico, and now, we've discovered that almost a year later, he and his fiance tied returned back to the area to become husband and wife! That's right, the X Factor host and his lady of four years had the ceremony yesterday on a Mexican beach, and the couple's two-year-old daughter, Gia, even participated in the nuptials as the flower girl...with her dress even matching her mom's! Awww! Doesn't that just sound absolutely beautiful?! We won't have to speculate for too much longer, though! TLC recorded the entire event, and we'll all get to see it for ourselves during a wedding special on December 8th! Wowza! That's a pretty impressive turnaround, wouldn't you say?! | Posted: 02 Dec 2012 09:15 AM PST Guess her mission to be educated on Middle Eastern issues and affairs before heading out there has fallen on deaf ears! As expected, Kim Kardashian toured Kuwait and Bahrain this weekend to promote their respective openings of Millions of Milkshakes, and despite taking it upon herself to beef up her knowledge on the current political climates of both countries after some misinformed Tweets resulted in fan backlash, many folks just WEREN'T happy that the reality starlet was there in the first place...and took to the streets to stage a PROTEST! According to reports, about 50 hardline Islamic protesters stood outside the new store near the capital city of Manama before Kim arrived for the opening, many of whom chanting "God is great" while holding up signs that read "Kim Not Welcome" and "none of our customs and traditions allow us to receive stars of porn movies!" However, before the shenanigans could get TOO out of control, local authorities dispatched their riot police, who fired TEAR GAS into the crowds and broke it all up! Goodness gracious! Talk about a tough crowd to please! LOLz! We're just glad to hear that all of this was resolved before shiz got TOO out of control, and that no one was hurt! Especially our Kim! Some extremists may not have approved of her presence, but we know she only went out there with the best of intentions and to keep herself educated, so we give her a lot of credit in that respect!
