| Justin Bieber Was NOT Happy About James Franco's Boyfriend Parody! Posted: 20 Jan 2013 12:33 PM PST Uh-oh! Remember that HIGHlarious video James Franco uploaded to his WhoSay page that parodied Justin Bieber and his single Boyfriend?! You know, the one with the actor running around his house with some serious man-bangs and his Spring Breakers co-star/maybe-girlfriend Ashley Benson?! Well if not, you can watch it again (above)! But regardless, it appears that our booty-showing Canadian pop sensation was not too pleased with what we would consider an 'homage' to the original music video, as Franco revealed this weekend that the reason it was pulled down so quickly was because of some cranky members of the Bieber management team! He explained:
We don't think anybody else thought you were, James! In fact, we just assumed it was yet another one of your modern art projects! Perhaps a sequel to your rendition of his ex Selena's Love You Like A Love Song, even! Frankly, you'd think someone who would moon the entirety of Instagram as a joke would have a better sense of humor about himself! Guess not! What do U think?? Posted: 20 Jan 2013 11:25 AM PST Harry Styles' break-up from Taylor Swift may or may not have been good for One Direction's record sales, but apparently, there's one, very important person in particular who cannot say he is too pleased about the entire ordeal! The band's founder and manager, Simon Cowell! In fact, according to insiders, The X Factor head honcho is SO concerned that burning the country cutie could result in the boys losing stateside popularity that he essentially forced Harry to reach out to her and clear the air! Sources explain:
EEK! Well, it certainly sounds as though THAT didn't do a whole lot of good to get them back on speaking terms, now did it? We have a feeling that regardless of how much ANYONE, including Simon, try to force these two to work their shiz out, TRUE reconciliation can only come about when they've both been given whatever space and time they need to heal bad feelings and get back on their feet! | Lindsay Lohan Does NOT Need A "Get Out Of Jail Free" Card…Because She's INNOCENT! Posted: 20 Jan 2013 10:41 AM PST At least, according to Lindsay Lohan, that is! And we all know that her definition is "innocent" is a FAR CRY from how the rest of us interpret the word! But to the surprise of no one, the troubled starlet is once again playing a dangerous game of Russian Roulette with the prosecution in her latest legal drama - as she's due back in court later this month to finally resolve the case involving her June car crash on the PCH - and it looks as though despite the best efforts of her long-suffering, possibly-fired attorney Shawn Chapman Holley, LiLo is pretty much securing herself some SERIOUS jail time! As we've reported, Holley got sacked right by her client right before she was able to negotiate a plea bargain with prosecutors, which apparently, would have kept her out of jail so long as she agreed to six months of lock-down rehab! And even though sources with law enforcement maintain the offer is still available to Lindsay, regardless of her current representation, Our Lady of Perpetual Chaos is adamant that she did nothing wrong, and will not confess to a crime she refuses to acknowledge she committed...even though there's piles of evidence that prove she lied to officers about being behind the wheel of the porsche she totaled! Guess she has as clear a definition of integrity as she does innocent! But hey! It's her bed! Let her make it out however she pleases...even if we're pretty sure it's going to end up being made with 19 months in jail and a possible extra 245 days for violating her jewelry heist probation! | Four More Years! President Obama And Vice President Biden Are Sworn In For Second Term! Posted: 20 Jan 2013 09:42 AM PST It's official, folks! Barack Obama began the second term of his Presidency by being sworn in by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts this morning in the White House Blue Room, alongside his wife Michelle and children Malia and Sasha! And earlier this morning, Vice President Joe Biden did the very same, at his official residence of the Naval Observatory, presided by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor! Now, before anyone gets confused about why this all went down today when there's a public ceremony that up to 800,000 people are expected to attend tomorrow, it's a Constitutional REQUIREMENT that the President and Vice President take the office on January 20th! However, this sort of thing happens so rarely that the last President who got double the fun was Ronald Reagan in 1985! But hey! After the intensity of this year's election - and the tragedies since to which he's responded with such swift action - we think our beloved POTUS DESERVES to have this celebration extended as long as possible! We're SO looking forward to joining in on the festivities ourselves tomorrow! But for today, we're so happy to see that Obama got to celebrate this MASSIVE, inspirational and truly-deserved accomplishment surrounded by his family and loved ones! Show that booty of yours all of you want, Justin Bieber! Because we think it's more than a little CLEAR after last night that Selena Gomez ain't missing that - or anything else about you - AT ALL! Not that she needed to explicitly state it, mind you! She let the heartbreak and anger of her musical predecessors - and contemporaries - speak for her! The singer was spotted looking pretty glum two days ago as she arrived in New York City for last night's UNICEF charity concert with her band, The Scene, and clearly, channeled all of that break-up sadness into one HELLUVA set! In fact, the former Disney starlet not only responded to her ex's November rendition of Justin Timberlake's Cry Me A River with her very OWN version of the track, but she also paid tribute to her bestie - and confidante - Taylor Swift by bellowing out her very own break-up anthem, Trouble! Give it a listen (above)! Oh, and don't think we didn't notice that you re-worked JT's lyrics to go, "boy I refuse, you must got me confused with some other girl." Eek! Pretty clear she's worked through the grief and is now in full-blown ANGER mode! And if that's the case, then it's REALLY doing wonders for her vocal stylingz! She's never sounded better! But hey! So why would her latest role as last night's host of Saturday Night Live be ANY exception?! Seriously - you RAWKED the house, gurl! Of course, it HAD to be expected that the sketch comedy show would skewer the actress' somewhat controversial, mis-interpreted Meryl Streep "dig" during her acceptance speech at the Golden Globe Awards, and she certainly did just that for her opening monologue, when she hit the ground running and ROASTED all the nominees against whom she's competing for the "Best Actress" Academy Award in a few short weeks! Ch-ch-check her out (above)! Oh MAN! And the surprise appearance from "Tommy Lee Jones" is just the icing on the HIGHlarious cake, isn't it?! But that is FAR from all that is worth checking out from last night's episode, folks!
