Wow! We knew there was going to be a significant departure from the aesthetic of the first film, given Gary Ross handing over the directorial reigns to Francis Lawrence! But if THIS is any indication of what to expect from his vision of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, then we think everyone can agree that we're all in for a real treat when the November 22nd release date finally rolls around! Much like the Panem-centric viral campaign that preceded The Hunger Games, the much-anticipated sequel is following suit...by releasing two promotional one-sheets that bring focus to the "Victory Tour" Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson must embark upon following the events of the first story! And seriously! With both dressed in white and the color scheme almost entirely washed out, we can't help but think about the environment in which they'll soon be battling it out once again during the terrifying Quarter Quell! Ch-ch-check 'em out (above)! Man oh man, we CANNOT WAIT for this movie! Here's hoping that this is only the beginning of the pre-premiere treats, and we'll soon have more photos - and perhaps a TEASER TRAILER - to keep our palette satiated until next fall! Posted: 22 Feb 2013 12:42 PM PST That's just how it works in Hollywood -- the more fame and money you have the more sh*t you get handed to you for free! What an interesting equation! LOLz! Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and other Silver Linings Playbook peeps attended an exclusive pre-Oscars dinner hosted by Vanity Fair Wednesday evening in El Lay (above)... And not only did attendees dine on such fine delicacies as NY strip steak, striped bass, and ice cream sundaes (nom nom nom!!!), each guest received an iPad mini complete with a luxurious Valextra cover!! Those are some sweet ASS party favors! But at least the party wasn't all about giving away the latest in must-have technology. The event actually benefited a therapeutic boarding school in Connecticut that caters to those with specialized needs, the same school that SLP director David O. Russell's son attends. The now unemployed actor left Orphans to avoid fighting with Alec Baldwin, but their feud is still carrying on off the stage! Alec is "very disappointed" with Shia after he tweeted private emails between him, director David O. Sullivan, Alec, and Tom Sturridge earlier in the week. The cranky veteran actor said:

Especially when one's LAWYERS can't even seem to keep their heads upon entering a prison! Conrad Murray, the doctor who was convicted for involuntarily KILLING Michael Jackson back in 2009, has been ordered to testify against AEG in a NEW MJ death lawsuit filed by the late entertainer's mother Katherine Jackson, as AEG are allegedly responsible for hiring Conrad as Micheal's healthcare professional. The former doctor will apparently offer HIS opinion concerning negative accusations against AEG, claims which include:
Katherine reportedly hopes that Murray's testimony will help convince the judge that AEG is somewhat responsible for Michael's death, as they were the one's who initially employed the doctor. | Posted: 22 Feb 2013 10:53 AM PST So much for seeing this "dream home" on Keeping Up With the Kardashians! But why bother with all that work when it's just as easy to flip the property and sell it off for a million more than what was originally paid? Which is apparently EXACTLY what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have done with the 10,000 square foot Bel Air mansion the soon-to-be-parents bought less than TWO MONTHS ago! As we've reported, the pair wanted to gut the original design to accommodate a 14,000-square-foot Italian villa (see pics below) with its own movie theater, bowling alley, basketball court, and spa, but apparently, this ended up being more of a bother than it was worth! That, or they just didn't want to be neighbors with Jennifer Aniston and Joe Francis, because they've managed to snag $11.75 million from an undisclosed buyer! Not too shabby a way to make a million more on top of the original $10.75 million fee they paid! But we can't help but wonder why such a quick turnover here! Were they planning to flip it from the get-go? Or perhaps they changed their mind on something? Guess it's not too big an issue when you're already on the look-out for new cribs in Paris, New York, and Miami!
