SPEAK ON IT: Rihanna Labeled The "New Princess Diana" By "The Sunday Times" Posted: 18 Feb 2013 08:47 AM PST
The Sunday Times newspaper over in the UK has deemed Rihanna as the next Princess Diana. For a few reasons. Check out their article inside, and speak on it.... Inside yesterday's edition of The Sunday Times, they did a feature on their next Princess Di. And apparently, they believe the parallels between pop diva Rihanna and the people's Princess are spot on. The publication 'shopped a pic of Rihanna and Princess Di's face together for the cover, and offered up why this comparison can be a good and a bad thing. In an excerpt, they explain the love of paparazzi stemming from anguish:
And their similar beginnings:
Hmmm. Rihanna ignored the possible negative side of the story and Instagrammed pics of the papers and how she came back to her hotel, drunk, and found them:
Speak on it.... Extras: 1. Dr. Jerry Buss, the owner of the L.A. Lakers for more than the last three decades, has died after being hospitalized for cancer. STORY |
Posted: 18 Feb 2013 08:07 AM PST Many of your fave YBF celebs got in some last minute partying in Houston yesterday as the NBA's All-Star Weekend came to a close. See pics of Eva Marcille, Tyrese, Draya Michelle and more inside....
Last night, Ciroc spokemodel Eva Marcille was spotted at Dreams in Houston with her boo Kevin McCall Jr. and Tyres. While Eva looked sexy in an olive Laina Rauma's gown, Kevin tweeted about his girl saying, "I'm off that good Kush and alcohol I got a down Bish that's down to pour." How nice... CJ Jeter of Blac Jack Entertainment also tweeted from the party, "Money Shot! We at Dreams Houston with the Turn Up! Freak A Lot Records Mike Prince we out Here! #nbaallstar" Draya Michelle hosted a party at Lumen Lounge in Houston with Tank. She tweeted, "Me and @therealtank at our party. Bitches luuuuvvvv Tank." Do they? And she tweeted about her safety pinned dress saying, "Yep... Serving as usual."
Dwyane Wade and Gabby Union were spotted boo'd up after the game. D-Wade's Team East lost, but he still had lots of fun it seems. And DJ Envy hosted a party over at Venue alongside DJ E Sudd. Future made it out to Venue. And if he was there, so was..... His girlfriend Ciara. Cici was a little incognito with her hat hung low... Wale was there.
And Ace Hood posed with DJ Khaled. Ace also rocked the mic at the party.
BONUS: Saturday night, Draya partied with her "Basketball Wives" co-star Malaysia Pargo. And these outfits need to be discussed.

Posted: 18 Feb 2013 07:23 AM PST Verbal shots were fired in Houston last night after Lil' Wayne slammed the Miami Heat organization and said he was ready to take it to the streets with Lebron and Dwyane. Oh....and he claims he had sex with Chris Bosh's wife! Watch the shocking video inside.... Lil' Wayne was wilin' out in Houston, Texas last night as he hit the stage at Stereo Live for the official YMCMB concert and NBA All-Star after party (with Drake and Birdman). With a rant that can't be mistaken for anything except a "threat" we (and tons of party goers) found out that Weezy is still pissed about being ejected from a Miami Heat game over a week ago. Apparently, the Heat went a step further and had him banned from all NBA events. A little refresher.... So last night, he hit the stage and SLAMMED the entire Miami Heat organization and told the crowd that this "wasn't a Twitter beef" he was ready to take it to the streets. In a rant that was caught on video, and later described with a play-by-play on Twitter by XXL Magazine's Shaheem Reid, Weezy insults the Miami Heat's biggest stars and shocking concludes by "claiming" that he banged Chris Bosh's wife Adrienne. Just in case you aren't clear about what you are about to watch... That explains why the hardcore NBA fan wasn't at last night's game.
Watch the shocking clip here: Meanwhile...... Neither Chris nor Adrienne have responded to Weezy (and they may not even know this happened) but Chris did tweet a very happy message last night saying, "Had my 2 favorite girls [Adrienne and daughter Trinity] in the world supporting me tonight..." We hope they both ignore this...but if they don't, we'll let you know what they say.

Posted: 18 Feb 2013 06:25 AM PST Tons of celebs rolled to Houston this weekend for all the 2013 NBA All-Star festivities. And last night, they all kicked it courtside as The East & The West battled it out. Peep the pics inside.... Beyonce & Jay-Z cuddled up courtside at the Toyota Center as they watched MVP Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant & The West take home the All-Star trophy. And it was all fun and games for the ballers and for the crowd.
Bey kept it cute and fresh faced in her Stella McCartney blazer and yellow pumps back in her hometown.
And copped some candy from Alicia & Swizzy's baby boy Egypt after Jay and Swizz Beatz laughed it up with LeBron during the game. Rocsi stopped by Bey's section to do a mini interview for "ET." And Drake played waiter and brought drinks over to Bey, Jay and cousin Angie. How sweet of him....
Speaking of Drizzy, he was spotted taking in the game next to J.Cole. And Jay, Nas, and Diddy, who brought son Christian along, all had some courtside fun. Sure those convos were interesting.... Kevin Hart was hilarious chillin' with the NBA TNT commentators Shaq, Charles Barkley and more during halftime. Then he gave Chris Paul's son Jr. a boost...which we're sure was a drastic difference in height for the kid.
Trinidad James found a way to land some courtside tix. A mess.
Drizzy snapped pics with Irv Gotti and Usain Bolt at the game. Team West snapped a pic before taking home the trophy after a 143-138 win.
And the West posed it up for the team pic too. And congrats to Chris Paul for nabbing the MVP trophy. He's such a cutie! Pics: Twitter/Instagram |
Ne-Yo Opens The 2013 All-Star Game, Pops Off On Critics + John Legend's National Anthem Posted: 17 Feb 2013 09:12 PM PST It was a night of NBA performances as Ne-Yo took the stage during the NBA All-Star game intros, before Alicia hit the stage for the halftime show, and John Legend belted out the National Anthem.
Check out the fellas' performances inside... Ne-Yo did 3 separate performances during the introductions of the East & West Sunday night at the NBA All-Star game. He hit the stage with "Let's Go" and "Let Me Love You" with his dancers. And apparently, not everyone was feeling it. He seemed to do pretty well, but his performance didn't go without some criticisms from the Twitter world. So Ne-Yo responded after his performance:
Check out his performances below: And John Legend made his way to the mic...with a slight pimp walk...to belt out the National Anthem (after actress Gloria Reuben sang "O Canada" as the salute to her native country). Check out his flawless performance below:

VIDEO: Alicia Keys DANCES IT UP For 2013 NBA All-Star Halftime Show Posted: 17 Feb 2013 07:47 PM PST Alicia Keys threw on her brand new Reebok Classics AKW's (coming soon) and her cube crop top and leather pants both from Herve Leger's runway to rock the NBA All-Star halftime show. The fab chick decided to throw in some dance moves in addition to her piano playing. But decide if she pulled it off inside.. Alicia went through a medley of her songs like "Empire State of Mind" (most people seemed a bit baffled by this song choice) and "A New Day" while giving u a 2013 All-Star halftime show in Houston. She threw in some choreography while showing off her midriff. As for the vocals tonight...somebody def should have passed a cup-o-tea-and-honey over to her mid-performance. And we'll leave it at that. Peep the video below:
By the way, Alicia will be on "The Wendy Show" tomorrow (pre-taped) dishing with the talk show maven and busting out another performance.

KeKe Palmer Joins The "TLC Biopic" As Chilli...Will Join Lil Mama As Left EYe Posted: 17 Feb 2013 12:24 PM PST The "TLC Biopic" is about to start filming....and the cast has just been announced. Check out who's playing the roles of the girl group who brought us color, controversy and great music inside.... T-Boz, Chilli and Left Eye will be getting a VH1 movie made about their lives and group's rise to fame. It was reported recently that rapper Lil Mama will be taking on the role of Left Eye in the upcoming TLC Biopic that will air on VH1. And that decision was met with controversy and petitions to stop the "Lipgloss" rapper from officially nabbing the role. But oh wells, she's in it. And today, it was just announced that KeKe Palmer, former Nickelodeon star in "True Jackson VP" and Lifetime's "The Carlina White Story," will be joining the cast in the role of Chilli. Apparently people are already complaining, saying she looks nothing like Chilli. KeKe responded on her Twitter today saying:
KeKe has also been working on her singing career lately, dropping a mixtape this past October, her debut studio back in 2007, and doing a few songs for the shows she's appeared in. And the 19-year-old says she's been a fan of TLC since she was a little girl. She said about growing up loving the group:
And she's indeed aware that fans will drag this movie through the mud if it's not made right. The Akilah & The Bee actress said in her press release:
The upcoming VH1 TLC biopic to be filmed in Atlanta, GA next month. And we hear that singer/"The Game" actress Drew Sidora has filled the role of T-Boz. Are we feelin' this?
The Randomness: 1. Since this weekend is all about basketball--Happy 50th Birthday to Michael Jordan! Charles Barkley turned the big 5-0 this upcoming Wednesday. 2. Mary J. Blige just got hit with a third tax lien--this one for $900K. STORY

Alicia, who is rocking the half time show at tonight's big game, did a few rehearsals in her brown and gold Giuseppe Zanotti combo zip wedge sneakers. She tweeted the pics saying:
Also spotted at yesterday's festivities--Kevin Hart, Ne-Yo, East team captain Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony. These pants and shoes D! Drake stopped by the Deans' section to say wassup. And then went H.A.M. over the dunks. 2 Chainz made his way courtside after a performance with Fall Out Boy. And also kicked it with Bron Bron. Former Laker (now Suns baller) Shannon Brown chilled out with his wife Monica and his former teammate Kobe Bryant and Vanessa. Cute.
