We hate to say it, but things are looking progressively worse and worse for Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus' relationship! The pair have been said to be on the outs since the former Hannah Montana starlet found out her fiance was talking a little too openly about their sex life with his brother Chris, and frankly, we can't remember the last time we even spotted them out together! And last night was NO exception, unfortunately! In fact, both of them were hanging out with members of the opposite sex...just not EACH OTHER! Ch-ch-check out a photo of Liam hitching a ride with a mysterious blonde lady friend after pAArtying it up at the 2013 Grey Goose Pre-Oscars Party in El Lay last night...while Miley was getting into the passenger seat of an attractive gentleman's car across town after a long night of recording her new album (above)! It certainly doesn't help matters that both parties in this couple are trying to hide their faces from the cameras! NOT good, you guys! What do U think?? | Quvenzhane Wallis Officially Cast In Annie Remake! Posted: 24 Feb 2013 12:33 PM PST Wow! It is a GOOD day to be Quvenzhane Wallis! The adorable nine-year-old actress is not only up for "Best Actress" at the 2013 Oscars this evening, but she has also been officially CONFIRMED for the title role in the upcoming remake of Annie, set to be directed by Will Gluck, with Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, James Lassiter, Ty Ty Smith, Jay Brown, and of course, Jay-Z serving as the producers! As we've already reported, the lengthy period of pre-production, which is said to be so the Easy A director can revise the screenplay's previous drafts from both Aline Brosh McKenna and Emma Thompson, ultimately caused original starlet Willow Smith to bounce off and be a normal 12-year-old! But honestly, we think that this could be a blessing in disguise! Willow would have obviously been FANTASTIC in the part, but having seen Quvenzhane in Beasts of the Southern Wild, we are MORE than confident that this supremely talented young lady is going to bring a whole NEW dimension to the classic musical's upcoming contemporary setting! | Breaking Dawn - Part 2 SWEEPS The 2013 Oscars Razzies! Posted: 24 Feb 2013 12:03 PM PST AH! It's only fitting that on the same day that all of the best films, actors, and overall creative talent in Hollywood are recognized for their contributions to the industry, that the WORST are also given their moment to shine! And that is why we couldn't be more DELIGHTED to let you know that at last night's 2013 33rd Annual Razzie Awards, it was The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 that took home ALMOST ALL the awards at the ceremony! Who were the lucky recipients of the supreme honor, you may ask? Kristen Stewart took home "Worst Actress," while Taylor Lautner won "Worst Supporting Actor!" He also managed to snag himself a duel award with Mackenzie Foy for "Worst Screen Couple" AND "Worst Screen Ensemble!" Behind-the-scenes talent were not excused, either, as Bill Condon was named "Worst Director!" Sadly, however, the film didn't accomplish what Adam Sandler's Jack & Jill managed to last year by winning in EVERY category, as the comedian himself managed to secure the "Worst Screenplay" award for That's My Boy, while Rihanna was awarded "Worst Supporting Actress" for her big-screen debut in the equally-terrible Battleship! And last night, One Direction FINALLY kicked off their Take Me Home world tour at the O2 Arena in London, and from what we can tell, all of their hard work prepping their bodies and vocal stylingz for the what will surely be an exhausting few months has PAID OFF! And BIG TIME! Their voices - and moves - are simply FABOOSH! Gah! We're just OBSESSED! Ch-ch-check out Harry, Zayn, Liam, Louis and Niall performing their new charity single, a cover of One Way Or Another (above)! It may not have ended with a ten-minute rant about Justin Timberlake or the Grammys, but hey! That may have been exclusively just for the UK crowd at Yeezy's show! LOLz! According to new reports, Sofia Vergara has been forced to cancel her plans to attend BOTH the Oscars and Madonna's annual party, as she's been admitted to the HOSPITAL to undergo an operation for a-still-unknown condition! However, sources close to the Modern Family star have spoken out, and claim:
We certainly hope so! It's never good when you need to suddenly drop everything you're doing to get surgery in the hospital! We suppose we'll see for ourselves later on this evening if the rumors are, in fact, true, but for now, we just hope that everything is all right, and if it isn't, then our thoughts are with you, gurl! | Posted: 24 Feb 2013 10:02 AM PST Aw, man! And here we were, all worried that Kanye West's impending fatherhood had neutered his notorious, volatile outbursts! Luckily, the rapper put all of those fears to rest last night during his concert last night at the Hammersmith Apollo in London in pretty much the most scathing, HIGHlarious and surprisingly astute way ever! Oh, and at the expense of the Grammys, big businesses, and shockingly...Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake! Following his performance of Clique, Yeezy descended into a frenetic, somewhat theatrical freestyle rant that, if it's possible to draw an over-arching message or theme, questioned the authenticity and morality of the entertainment industry, all the while lashing out at the creative and personal sacrifices that must be made in today's big-business-centric culture to ensure corporate backing and marketability as an artist! Seems a little strange for this to come from someone who's expecting a baby girl with a woman who has essentially branded and sold her entire existence to America, but he even acknowledges that himself, when he says:
Of course, even a philosophizing Yeezy can't stop himself from causing a bit of controversy during even the most existential of crises, and not only managed to tell the Grammys to suck his d-ck, but throw some SERIOUS shade at Justin Timberlake and his Watch The Throne collaborator Jay-Z by saying what the world is collectively thinking:
Ch-ch-check the entire, ten-minute extravaganza (above)! There's even a reference to the Taylor Swift/Beyonce debacle in there, too! He REALLY lets it all out! And this is why we LOVE Kanye! But we certainly weren't anticipating that those talents included a pretty SPOT-ON impression of the KING himself! The freshly-back-on-the-scene music sensation is hard at work stomping the pavement to promote his new album, The 20/20 Experience, and fresh on the heels of the news that he and Jay-Z are taking their Suit & Tie out for a stadium tour this summer, he popped over to Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany to appears on the country's long-running television show Wetten, dass..? to show off just how much his voice - and hair - can look and sound like Elvis Presley! Ch-ch-check it out (above)! Oh man! Isn't he simply aDORKable, as Zooey Deschanel would say?! LOLz! And hear we were thinking you had only inherited Elvis' SWAG! Seriously! We're pretty impressed, boy! More impressive, however, is his performance of follow-up single Mirrors, which while we still don't LOVE, we can appreciate his vocal stylingz here! So apparently, Taylor Lautner and Patrick Schwarzenegger were spotted on the way to a Pre-Oscar party in Brentwood earlier this weekend in the Twilight werewolf's Fisker (as seen above) which means TWO things: A) They have continued the friendship they originally formed while shooting Growns Up 2 together in Boston last summer! B) We can continue to let our minds wander every time we think about them spending time together... ...you know, talking about Taylor Swift! OBVIOUSLY! Where did U guys THINK we were taking that?!
