| Veronica Mars Kickstarter Shows No Sign of Stopping! Headed To Comic-Con With FANtastic Documentary! Posted: 19 Mar 2013 11:20 AM PDT No end in sight! The Veronica Mars Kickstarter campaign, initiated by the show's creator Rob Thomas, surpassed everyone's expectations of success, including Rob's. The Kristen Bell-fronted show's extremely loyal fan base has been waiting for the opportunity to return to Neptune, CA for far too long and have had no problem showing it, raising over $3.6 million for the film project. Rob explains that VMars was "built by fans, so we'll try to do our best to keep the momentum going through that." Fans should expect to experience a very open filming process with several behind-the-scenes tweets and photos. Better yet, the showrunner will be putting some documentary footage together for Comic-Con, sharing:
We're so there. The shooting script is still in the works. Rob explains that the outline is there, but the writing is, in part, due to the film's budget. Given that there are still 24 days to go on the Kickstarter clock and that this campaign is showing no sign of capping out till then, the intensity of certain subplots may change:

| Elmo Puppeteer Kevin Clash Now Accused Of Smoking Meth And Giving Victims Drugs Posted: 19 Mar 2013 11:09 AM PDT Please say it ain't so, Elmo! Former Sesame Street puppeteer Kevin Clash is once again making headlines in a situation that continues to get worse and worse, as one of the original accusers in this disturbing sex scandal is adding more to his allegations. Sheldon Stephens was one of the first to step forward and say he allegedly had a sexual relationship with Kevin before he was of age, but his story doesn't stop there. He is now claiming that the puppeteer would smoke crystal meth during their sex-capades and feed the young man drugs. He also says that Kevin would usually send a chauffeur to bring him to his house, and it wasn't uncommon for the driver to participate in their sexual activities. The former voice of Elmo has avoided charges due to lack of evidence and a few technicalities, but this certainly doesn't look good. Kevin and his accuser were apparently close to making a settlement, but Stephens refused when he found out that he would have to say he made the whole thing up.
