| SURPRISE! Heidi Klum Joined The Judges Panel Of America's Got Talent! Posted: 03 Mar 2013 11:41 AM PST WOW! Did anyone else know this was in the works?! Here we were, assuming that the new season of America's Got Talent was ready to go, as Mel B. was announced as Sharon Osbourne's replacement on the judges panel, alongside Howard Stern and Howie Mandel! Well, apparently, we we WRONG, as on the upcoming season of the reality competition, there will FOUR judges...as Heidi Klum has reportedly signed a last-minute contract with the network and will be joining up with the rest of the cast and crew today in New Orleans, where the first round of auditions are taking place! YES! YES! YES! We all know that gurl can EASILY hold her own showing people the door on Project Runway, so we think she'll have no problem slamming down that X button! SO exciting! Now that Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin have said good-bye to 30 Rock, we guess it's time for a new Liz Lemon/Jack Donaghy-esque mentorship! Even if this one ends up saturated in freckles, booze and tiger blood! As we all know by now, it appears that Charlie Sheen has taken a liking to his Scary Movie 5 co-star Lindsay Lohan, as he's not only gifted her $100,000 to cover her troubles with the IRS, but offered to pay for her amfAR Gala gown and given her work as a guest star on his FX series Anger Management! Given their long list of well-documented personal and legal troubles, it's no surprise that these two can relate to each other, but now, the MaSheen is hoping to take their relationship one step further...by offering to be the hard-pAArtying starlet's MENTOR, in order to guide her back into a professionally successful and ideally-drama-free lifestyle! He says:
HA! Well, Charlie, we like you just fine! And frankly, we think that if anyone can get through to her and set her as close to the straight-and-narrow as she'll ever feasibly get, HE at least has a better chance than her destructive parents OR her fool of a lawyer, Mark Heller! And although we don't want to get our hopes up, our fingers will stay crossed that this move works out better than the last time they tried it! More details are surfacing that seem to confirm our previous report that NBC is making moves to FINALLY show Jay Leno the door, as his contract with the The Tonight Show expires after the 2013-14 season...and execs with the network are hoping to segue Jimmy Fallon from Late Night into the much-sought-after 11:35 time slot, as early as the summer of 2014! According to insiders, Leno is just as reluctant to leave as ever, because he doesn't want to retire before his CBS rival David Letterman does, but the network is eager to beef up the ratings game ever since ABC moved the comic's biggest hater, Jimmy Kimmel, into the 11:35 spot this past January. They explain:
Furthermore, NBC is afraid that if Letterman DOES, in fact, retire in 2014, CBS will try to poach Fallon from them...and end up re-living the entire Conan O'Brien controversy that we all endured in 2009 when Jay decided he wanted his old job back after the ginge-comedian was SECURED his old position! Of course, a rep for Leno maintains:
But we're fairly certain that come May upfronts, this will all turn out to be much more than just rumor! At least we're praying it is! Time to usurp the throne from Grandpa, Jimmy! | Justin Bieber's "Worst Birthday" Brightened By Fans After Nottingham Concert! Posted: 03 Mar 2013 10:22 AM PST Awww! Look! Somebody's feeling better about his "worst birthday!" As we've reported, Justin Bieber was pretty worked up over his celebrations planned for this weekend going awry when security at the venue for his party, London's Cirque Du Soir, refused to admit his underage friends like Jaden Smith, ultimately prompting he and his entire entourage to leave early! And while the pop sensation has remained out of the public eye for the majority of the weekend, he managed to take a deep breath and perform his latest Believe Tour concert stop at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, before putting on a smile for his fans and heading back to his hotel! Ch-ch-check 'em out (above and below)! Later on, he even took the time to thank all his fans via Twitter for what we assume were condolences for his failed extravaganza:

| Trouble On The Set Of Spider-Man?! Emma Stone Tweets - And Deletes - Strange Message! Posted: 03 Mar 2013 09:36 AM PST Oh NO! We certainly hope that life isn't imitating art on the New York set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2! As we've reported, Shailene Woodley has been cast as Andrew Garfield's soon-to-be love interest in the superhero sequel, once Emma Stone's character departs the franchise! And while all three have been spotted shooting various scenes all over the Big Apple, it appears the blonde starlet may have some misgivings about her real-life man spending so much time with his new leading lady! For pretty much the first time ever, Emma took to Twitter yesterday to write: Yeah! Looks a little confusing at first, but it's actually an ANAGRAM of "Andrew and Shailene sitting in a tree!" NOW. She could just be messing around, or cracking a joke about a possible scene in the next flick... But then WHY did she delete it soon after?! We DON'T KNOW! Either way, Andrew and Emma were spotted later on in the day holding hands and kissing as the trekked through Tribeca (as seen above), so we're going to assume all is well! | Posted: 03 Mar 2013 09:23 AM PST WOW! Talk about an OOPSIE DAISY! But hey! At least we now know the town of Ambridge, Pennsylvania hosts a community full of incredibly fast-moving, vigilant individuals! Even if they all have somehow been under a rock for the past 20-something years! Confused?! Allow us to explain: Apparently, the town's High School had one serious scare earlier in the week after a student's cell phone's voicemail, which featured him rapping a few lines of the now-iconic Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song, was confused by a medical receptionist calling to confirm an optometrist appointment to be a THREAT to shoot down the entire student body...and resulted in a mass lock-down of the district and set police into a FRENZY! Yes, the poor kid rapping "Shooting some b-ball outside of the school" sounded more like "Shooting some PEOPLE outside of the school," and as the sad reality of such scenarios have proven time and time again, those kind of threats just simply CANNOT be taken lightly anymore! Of course, we can't imagine how the student in question OR the town's law enforcement must have been feeling when after swarming his location in class and tense interrogation, everyone realized it was not so much a declaration of murder, but simply the smooth, whimsical rhymes of a teenaged Will Smith! But hey! Like we said, it's pretty impressive to see such fast-acting, effective protocol in place for these kinds of scenarios, and frankly, we're much happier reporting on a miscommunication like this then the terrifying, bone-chilling alternative! However, we'd like to urge the people of Ambridge to turn on Nick at Nite every once in a while! Or at least watch the Fresh Prince theme song to get caught up on pop culture references from 1990! LOLz! Glad everyone is safe! |
