Posted: 19 Nov 2012 01:22 PM PST Turns out most Americans would rather watch grown men in tight pants tackle each other than see an American Idol judge air hump a teenager! Last night, the BIGGEST stars in music showed up to present, perform and grind on the American Music Award stage. But apparently Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj's booty dancing, and PSY's surprise boogie with MC Hammer wasn't enough to win ABC the ratings top spot. 2012 broadcast of the music kudos was down over 20 percent. In total viewers, it was down from last year's 12.0 million to just 9.47 million. What happened? FOOTBALL -- that's what!! While Pink was being thrown all over the stage, 13.3 million pig-skin-lovers tuned in to watch the Baltimore Ravens play Pittsburgh Steelers. LAME!! Maybe next year they'll give out the crystal prisms on an other day, and score their ultimate goal -- ratings domination. |

Posted: 19 Nov 2012 12:51 PM PST Selena Gomez may or may not have Bieber Fever... but she sure caught something! While Justin Bieber sang his heart out at the American Music Awards last night, it seems his ex (?) Selenita was the one who ended up with a sore throat! Sounds like the two partied a bit too hard last night, because Mz. Gomez landed herself in the emergency room this morning! Either that, or those recording sessions with Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus this past weekend really did a number on her health! Reportedly, Selena had been feeling under the weather and thought she could possibly have caught strep throat and wanted to get it taken care of! Her stepdad, on the other hand, has been sick lately with bronchitis, so she could've been exposed to that, too! Aw... we hope she feels better and are glad it wasn't anything serious! | Lindsay Lohan Pops Up In Front Of James Franco's Lens For R.E.M's New Music Video Posted: 19 Nov 2012 11:22 AM PST Um, what? Yeah, you know... we had mixed emotions when we heard that R.E.M was putting out their 15th and final album. We're sad to see them go, of course, but on the flip side, since this is their last hurrah, we gathered they would do their sendoff right. And then the video for Blue came across our way this morning... Now, the song itself is very, shall we say, odd. But it's this kind of off-the-wall creativity we expected from the band. The music video itself really compliments the stoic sense of the song -- five whole minutes of shaky camera work, paying homage to iconic Hollywood hot spots including the Roxy, the Chateau Marmont and the Roosevelt Hotel. As it turns out, James Franco, the actor/teacher/poet/serial killer/artist extraordinaire helmed the video, which only adds a new level to this eclectic piece. Mind you, we're still on board at this point... And then, Lindsay Lohan happens. Seriously, she just ... happens. One minute, you're watching the night lights of Hollywood pass you by and the next, her face is full frame, while Terry Richardson takes her pouty picture. So again, we beg to ask... um, WHAT?!
