Nicki Minaj ditched the crazy outfits and overload of colors for a chic flirty white dress for her Mac Pro Store appearance in L.A. Check out the "Idol" judge looking fab inside... It's not often we love Nicki Minaj's look, but her cutesy look on Friday for her "Lavender" Mac Pro in-store appearance on Robertson Blvd. makes us remember she's such a pretty chick underneath all the costumes.
She rocked her blow-out blonde wig with black roots--and it actually works-- with a knit white flirty scalloped hemmed dress and her nude/soft pink Fendi "Fendista" pumps. And accessorized with a couple Chanel bracelets. The "Freaks" rapper was pushing her personal MAC brand of "lavender" pink lipstick and lipglass and tweeted to her followers to wear their head-to-toe lavender for a chance to meet her. By the way, every penny of profit made from Nicki's lip color line goes towards helping children and adults living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Jermaine Dupri has been partying hard lately in celebration of So So Def's 20 year anniversary. And last night, on the eve of the big So So Def Anniversary concert, celebs turned up for the private VIP Castle Party at Summerour Studio in Atlanta.
We've got the pics of J.D., Bow Wow, Da Brat, Trina Braxton and more....
Photog Paras Griffin snapped pics of celebs like J.D. celebrating the night before the So So Def anniversary concert (going down tonight at the Fox Theater in ATL) with his homies like Anthony Hamilton and Bryan Michael-Cox. Mr. Dupri brought some major hits in the 90's, so it's only right the label celebrates.
Trina Braxton is still with her hubby Gabe apparently.
She kept it simple in a fitted black dress and mirrored blue pumps.
Da Brat reached into her 90's closet--which is her normal closet--to put on her tomboy oversized tee and camo with a neon green MCM backpack.
Oh Brat.
SoSo Def newbie Dondria rocked a black cutout dress for the party.
JD's business partner & dad Michael Mauldin came out to party too.
Bow Wow jetted to ATL to get back to his Def roots. And he hit the DJ booth with V103 host Big Tigger.
Bow's "106 & Park" co-host Shorty Da Prince went down to support too.
T-Pain and his beard made an appearance.
So did Jagged Edge and friends.
DTP's Chaka Zulu came out to support.
Wonder if Darrin Henson is still making workout videos somewhere.

Sean Kingston and Chris Brown were spotted on a pair of scooters rolling through the streets of Hawaii the day after Rihanna's birthday celebration. See the pics inside...
Chris Brown, who on the fab island for his boo Rihanna's b-day, was seen atop a scooter while on vacation in Oahu, Hawaii yesterday.
And Breezy was spotted hanging with friend Sean Kingston who tweeted, “Living life. All with positive energy and positive people.”
Sean, who recently starred in the E! special "Fame In The Family", revealed that he and Rihanna, who celebrated her 25th birthday earlier this week, have a special friendship. He says his mom cooks Jamaican food for RiRi whenever she's in town. She's an island gal afterall.

The drama just doesn't stop with these "Love & Hip Hop: ATL" cast members. Even if their series is not currently on the air, they're currently filming and making news.
Has K. Michelle revealed that she will only be appearing on half a season of "LAHH ATL" next season because she's leaving? And find out why MiMi Faust's new man Nikko says K. really doesn't like him...
D.C.'s Aladdin "Prince of the Airwayz" spoke with K.Michelle after her performance at the Howard Theater this week. And she revealed a little nugget of info about leaving "LAHH ATL." She first told the crowd on stage that she would be leaving the show, and she explained further backstage. She explained, "I'm on this season. We're on the 6th episode, and after that...from now on it's only music. because that's all the time I have. So they're going to just have to catch me." So it sounds like halfway through filming the season, K. is over it and focusing only on her music. Check out the interview below:
And that's not all. This morning on The Breakfast Club, after K.Michelle was in the studio this week for her interview, the co-hosts called up both Mimi and her boyfriend Nikko to explain the beef going down with them and K. After K. said on the air that Nikko was a down low dude and she believes he's gay, a flower throwing fight went down backstage at K's BB King's show. This morning, MiMi said K. Michelle has ruined their friendship And Nikko chimed in saying that K. is only mad because she tried to get with him, and he turned her down and said, "I'm with Mimi." Nikko insisted that he is not gay and has never been with a man. She maintains she has never met Nikko before they met on camera just recently, so he's 100% lying about her trying to get at him. She said simply, that's MiMi's type....not hers. Womp. Not only does this not sound believable, but it actually sounds like something a producer would have written out for this dude so that it ends up on the show. It is odd that he all of a sudden is soaking up all this new found fame after riding MiMi's coattail. K. Michelle was then called up to respond. And SHE revealed that not only is Nikko on the down low, but it is supposedly well known in the Atlanta gay community that Nikko has a gay roommate in ATL. She says she doesn't care who you're poking your "business" into, but lying to women about it is a problem. Double womp. You can check out the rest below: |

Last night, Jermaine Durpri hosted an intimate dinner with many of his So So Def artists to kick off the his So So Def 20th Anniversary Weekend. See pics of Bow Wow, Chris Kelly (Kris Kross), Da Brat, Jagged Edge and more inside...
Last night, Jermaine Dupri teamed up with VIBE, Crown Royal Black, Ciroc, Brand Jordan, UBER and Blackberry to kick off the So So Def 20th Anniversary Weekend.
The festivities kicked off with an intimate dinner at a top secret location in Atlanta with his artists, including folks like Bone Crusher. He told everyone, “This is my way of saying thank you for helping me build the So So Def empire. This is a historical moment, so tonight I’m celebrating you. Sit back, relax…I’m gonna serve you. But enjoy it, because that will never happen again!” The staff served the guests a lavish meal prepared by Chef Michael Hebb and custom “Afroman” cake by Jaxon Pastries.
Bow Wow, one of Jermaine's top selling acts (and biggest mouth pieces) was there to rep for So So Def.
Chris Kelly (of Kris Kross) wore his pants backwards, ofc ourse, and showed his support.
Chris and Bow Wow were later seen greeting one another when Jermaine revealed that it was their first time meeting! “In all these years, this is the first time that Bow Wow and Chris Kelly have ever met. Bow Wow is a product of Kris Kross, so the fact that we can bring everyone together like this means a lot.”
1/2 of Xscape (LaTocha and Tamika Scott) were on hand. While we know that LaTocha will be on "R&B Divas" next season, we can't help but miss seeing Kandi Burruss and Tameka "Tiny" Harris in this pic. Oh wells. We're SURE Kandi won't be showing up for the concert as there's still mixed feeling between her and the Scott sisters.
Can you believe Da Brat is 38? You have to admit the chick hasn't aged much since her debut.
"Let's Get Married" singers Jagged Edge (twins Brandon and Brian Casey) showed some love to JD.
Dondria, who has a big following on YouTube, was there.
"Damn!" rappers YoungBloodz stepped out for the dinner.
"Never Scared" rapper Bone Crusher was spotted chillin before dinner. Dem Franchise Boyz posed for pics with a little "Oh I Think They Like Me" swagger. JD's mother and daughter Shaniah were also there to show their support.
Veteran music exec, Michael Mauldin (JD’s father), came out as well.

How coincidental. The newest Cali rapper prepped to take the West Coast throne just dropped the video for his song that's in part a salute to Janet Jackson. Kendrick Lamar's "Poetic Justice" video inside, plus Ms. Jackson herself rocking her iconic braids again at Milan Fashion Week...
Janet's fabulous self put in her box braids....not as iconic as her Poetic Justice film braids but just as cute...for her Milan Fashion Week stint. She and her boyfriend Wissam hit up Sergio Rossi presentation cocktail with Mr. Rossi himself:
Gorge. And even though Janet didn't make a cameo in Kendrick Lamar's much anticipated "Poetic Justice" video...though she was reportedly asked to do so....he made the vid just as interesting.
Dr. Dre & Eminem's protege brings it back to his hometown of Compton for a romantic yet sad message. Earlier, K. Michelle revealed that her upcoming Rebellious Soul album is based on her "romance" with NY Kicks baller J.R. Smith, so it made us wonder what it is about the baller that makes him "inspire" women? We see that he's cute in that bad boy way and has a body full of sexy tattoos, but we just found out he's also a poet....and so eloquent with his words!
J.R. just got put on blast for flirting via DM with a chick who's a senior in high school. Now before you start giving him that R. Kelly side-eye, reports state the chick in question lives in Pennsylvania (where the age of consent is 16). And since we know the Knicks played the Philly 76ers the night of the 26th, we have to wonder if the chick followed through...... The second image shows her actual answer beforehand. After the private conversation went viral...

In the foolish news of the day, Erica Mena has revealed that the rumors of her messing around with the very married DJ Envy and she "left him alone" so she could be with Rich Dollaz. But she also tries to convince folks she did nothing wrong saying that "you can't break up a happy home."
Details inside... Remember last month when Charlamagne gave his Power 105.1 Breakfast Club co-host the Donkey of the Day for his recent slacker behavior? And while they didn't go into detail about why Envy was not being his usual on-top-of-things self, Envy went on a loving rant about his marital issues and trying to become a better husband to his wife of 18 years, Gia Casey. Folks started to speculate that Envy actually had a jumpoff...and that it was none other than "LAHH" star Erica Mena. And when Erica's on-again off-again boyfriend Rich Dollaz went on the show afterwards, things were slightly awkward. We speculated all this may be a PR stunt to set up a new reality show story line. Now, Erica says in an interview with entertainment site I Am Super Gorge that she will explain more in her upcoming book (sigh), but that you can't break up a happy home.
Seeing that Envy and Gia--who is pregnant again--are still very much together, we're not sure what "broken" means. But she goes on to say that she left Envy alone to be with Rich, and now Envy is acting like a "happily married man." Apparently, not acting happy in a marriage gives everyone permission to cheat. Erica said:
