SHE GOT JOKES: Gabourey Sidibe ON Jason Collins' COMING OUT, "Who Hasn't Dated A Gay Guy...I Have!" Posted: 05 May 2013 08:58 AM PDT "The Big C" actress Gabourey Sidibe had a few jokes when she was asked about Jason Collins coming out last week, and she revealed she's had her own experiences with a man "coming out."  Find out what she said inside....   Eyebrows were raised last week when NBA player Jason Collins come out the closet, and it was revealed he was engaged and had a girlfriend for eight years.  Needless to say, his chick was in the dark about it all.  But one chick who didn't bat an eyelash was Precious star Gabby Sidibe, who joked about it on Access Hollywood Live, saying “Who hasn’t dated a gay dude?!?” As she chatted with host Billy Bush, Gabby recounted her own situation when she dated a man...who was more into her "heels" that her.  “He didn’t tell me [he was gay], I just sort of figured it out… [we dated] sort of recently.” So what was the most eye-opening situation that let Gaby know something was up? “There were weird things he would say...He also tried on my heels once – that’s a pretty big indication!” In addition to her guest appeance on the tv series "American Horror Story" (October 2013), Gabby is turning the big 3-0 tomorrow.  She revealed her plans saying, “I never throw myself parties, I get too nervous about it – like, I plan it and then I get too nervous about and I go, ‘No, I don’t deserve it!’ and I stop, like a weirdo.” So instead of a party, she's whipping out her passport and going overseas.  “I am gonna take like, a big, grownup trip to Milan… I’m gonna go to Madrid too." Nice! BONUS: During her hilarious appearance on "Access Hollywood Live", Gabby revealed that "The Voice" host she'd most like to hook up with is Adam Levine...and she wants a side of Shakira!  Freak-a-leek.

Rihanna Rolls To The Brooklyn Nets Game, Hosts FIGHT AFTER-PARTY At The 40/40 Posted: 05 May 2013 08:16 AM PDT Rihanna has been taking over the East Coast all week.  And Saturday night, she cheered on the Brooklyn Nets in Game 7 of the NBA playoffs and then hosted a Fight afterparty at the 40/40 Club.   Pics of your fave party girl and her celeb friends inside....   In extra short denim shorts, caged black boots and a leather top, bad gal Rihanna made a night out of the Nets & the 40/40 Club.  Even though BK lost in a close game 7, everybody had some fun at the afterparty for the Mayweather vs. Guerrero fight. Rihanna showed off her straight blonde hair in pics with her bestie Melissa. Chris Rock, comedian Louis C.K. and NY Knicks baller J.R. Smith has some fun inside the private party. Adrienne Bailon kept it cute in black and white. NFL star QB Cam Newton and his boo chilled out in VIP. Roc Nation MLBer Robinson Cano kicked it with fellow MLBer Ben Francisco.   Fab chick Rachel Roy was there.   And so was Rih's Roc Nation fam Wale. Friday night to kick off his b-day weekend, Chris Brown headed to Las Vegas Saturday where he celebrated his 24th birthday.  Find out who he partied with inside... After partying at The Emerson in L.A. with Christina Milian and ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, a leather clad Chris Brown ditched California and heading to Las Vegas yesterday to celebrate his 24th birthday at 1 Oak Nightclub in the The Mirage. Minnesota Vikings football running back Adrian Peterson partied with Breezy. And Fabolous, who worked with Chris on "Ready" the first single off Loso's Way II was there to raise a toast to Chris too.    Of course Chris' on-again-off-again girlfriend Rihanna couldn't attend the party because she's in NYC for the "Diamonds" tour...but we noticed she hasn't posted any happy birthday wishes either.  With reports that Chris un-followed her on Twitter last week...they must still be in the midst of a rocky time.   We shall see...    Photos: WENN

Laura Govan BURNS WEDDING GOWN In "BLACK MEN" Magazine, Says "'Basketball Wives' DOES NOT Define Me" Posted: 05 May 2013 06:22 AM PDT Laura Govan appears in the latest issue of "BLACK MEN" magazine where she burns a wedding gown to re-introduce herself to fans.  Or something.  "Mrs. Arenas" (we think) wants you to know that she's more than one of the "Basketball Wives" and she's annoyed how people view women who are unmarried.  Deets inside... In the latest issue of BLACK MEN magazine, Laura Govan attempts to re-introduce herself to the world outside of the ill-fated "Basketball Wives LA" show (which we seriously suspect won't be returning next year). After her sister Gloria Govan revealed on last year's reunion show that Laura and "fiance" Gilbert Arenas have actually been married for three years (though Laura won't confirm it), Laura explained to the magazine that she has a few issues with "weddings".    "I just don't like the way the public perceives women who aren't married vs. the way they perceive women that are. People place so much value on having a great wedding instead of having a great relationship; that's why you see people get married and divorced so quickly. I've been with the same man for 12 years, we have four children and we're happy. Focus on that." We guess Laura doesn't want us to focus on all the times Gilbert abandoned her or that she had four kids with him before he finally wife'd her up. But at least they're happy and married (maybe) now.   In an attempt to re-brand herself, she says she's more than one of the "Basketball Wives" and wants people to know who she really is. "For me burning the dress in the photo was my way of re-introducing myself; for many people my name is synonymous with "Basketball Wives" and although that's part of me, it doesn't define me. I just felt like "Let's start fresh. Hi. My name is Laura Govan, ignore the BS you think you may know and get to know the real me." It's interesting that Laura's trying so hard to distance herself away from "weddings" and "marriage" since her next shot in the spotlight will be as one of Nene Leakes bridemaids on "I Dream of Nene".  Time will tell if America takes any interest....

Lauryn Hill Breaks Out New Music, "Neurotic Society (Compulsory Mix)” Posted: 04 May 2013 06:36 PM PDT Lauryn Hill just released a new track called "Neurotic Society (Compulsory Mix)”. Check out the newest track from her new deal with SONY inside... L Boogie, as we all know, has a new deal with SONY Records to release a certain number of songs by a certain deadline, all in return for upwards of a million dollars that will help her pay off her MAJOR tax debt.  The deal saved her from being sentenced to jail immediately for tax evasion.  And now, one song born of the deal has hit iTunes. Lauryn wrote on her Tumblr today about rushing to get the track out: Hello All: Here is a link to a piece that I was ‘required’ to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline. I love being able to reach people directly, but in an ideal scenario, I would not have to rush the release of new music… but the message is still there. SWEET: Usher CONFIRMED For Role As Sugar Ray Leonard Posted: 04 May 2013 05:15 PM PDT Usher is speaking out about his upcoming role as boxer Sugar Ray Leonard.  Find out what he said inside....   "The Voice" judge Usher will be starring as boxer Sugar Ray Leonard in the upcoming film "Hands of Stone".  The film centers on the story of  the great brawler Roberto Duran  who beat Sugar Ray in 1980 to claim the WBC welterweight title (though he lost is a few months later during the rematch). The pop star spoke to the Huffington Post about his role saying, "You couldn't find a more stylized boxer than Sugar Ray Leonard. He was an incredible motion guy, the way he moved around the ring, and I think my dancing will make it easier for me to pick up his moves. I've been working on familiarizing myself with the ring, sparring and just understanding how to move in the ring." In getting ready for the film, which will be shot in Panama, Usher's going on a strict regime to drop around 12 pounds and gain more tone his muscular frame! "He had such incredible discipline, and he was flashy and classy at the same time. I want to be as passionate and dedicated in preparing for this role as he was every time he stepped into the ring." And though this is his first leading role, the superstar says he's up for the pressure. "I'm up for the challenge, and I'm looking forward to it. I think my overall feeling is one of anticipation. It seems like this is a real passion project. It's a film that everybody is so invested in, and I have the good fortune of having the character I'm playing still around."   Nice!

Hot 97's Mister Cee ARRESTED For Soliciting A MALE PROSTITUTE...AGAIN! Posted: 04 May 2013 11:40 AM PDT Some folks never learn.  Hot 97's legendary (in more ways than one) DJ Mister Cee is back up to his old tricks again.  And by tricks, we mean prostitutes.   Deets inside on his latest arrest for soliciting yet another male prostitute.... It's like April 2011 all over again.  For the second time in 2 years, DJ Mister Cee was arrested for soliciting a male prostitute. Several reports say that police have confirmed Cee--government name Calvin LeBrun--was cuffed after he allegedly tried to pick up a prostitute on a Brooklyn street corner. According to the NY Daily News, Calvin had no clue that the gigolo he allegedly approached on the corner of Madison St. & Broadway around midnight Friday...was actually an undercover cop.  FAIL. Calvin has been officially charged with "patronizing a prostitute" and is still waiting to be arraigned today. If you'll recall, back in April 2011, Cee was arrested after he was found engaged in oral sex with a male prostitute in Manhattan.  He plead guilty to that offense, yet stayed oddly mum about the fact the prostitute was male.  He also said the whole arrest was a conspiracy by NYPD.  Alrighty then. It was also uncovered at that time that Cee was arrested a few times previous to that for other lewd & prostitution acts, unbeknownst to the public. Quiet as kept, this dude also has a wife, allegedly.  Sometimes it's easier to just be who you REALLY are and find you a boo you actually want.  In this case, possibly one of the male persuasion.  Then you wouldn't have to turn to prostitutes to get your rocks off. Chiiiiile.....

THE PRE-PARTY: Chris Brown KICKS OFF Birthday Weekend...With Karrueche Tran & Christina Milian! Posted: 04 May 2013 09:58 AM PDT While Rihanna's on the east coast on her Diamonds World Tour, Chris Brown kicked of his birthday weekend with a few friends AND Karreuche Tran in LA. See pics inside.... Though he doesn't turn 24-years-old until tomorrow, music's "bad boy," Chris Brown kicked off his birthday weekend with a slew of friends (including Christina Milian, David Hasslehoff, and Topshop heiress Chloe Green) at LA hotspot Emerson last night. And if you're wondering if Rihanna was there...she wasn't.  RiRi is in New York for her "Diamonds" World Tour, and sources told Hollywood Life that the pair haven't seen each other for a while...due to work commitments.  “It’s up and down and sometimes the s**t is even sideways. Every time some s**t pop off between them, they blast that s**t on social media, and they shouldn’t. But when they’re far apart, that’s how they act out toward each other when one of them doesn’t get their way. It’s crazy as f**k, but it’s how they get down.”   But Chris wasn't without female attention at Emerson.  Though they weren't photographed together, pics show Chris' former flame Karrueche Tran was there to celebrate with him.  She rocked a cute look of white Giuseppe Zanotti fringed boots and a black mini dress (check the pics here).  As we've told you, Karrueche (show above in a pic she tweeted yesterday) has remained very close to Chris since their break-up, especially since they are partners in her clothing line The Kill.   And outside the club.... Karrueche's bestie Christina was seen arriving for the festivities.  Christina's looking hot as always.  Fun times.     In case you missed it....
