Swizz Beatz & A$AP Rocky DINE OUT In NYC + Eve's "Eve" Video Ft. Miss Kitty + Mountain Dew PULLS Controversial Tyler, The Creator Ad Posted: 01 May 2013 09:28 AM PDT   Swizz Beatz was spotted out with A$AP Rocky in NYC yesterday.  Find out what the two fashionistas were up to inside and was Eve's latest video and get the deets on Mountain Dew's controversial Tyler, The Creator ad that just got yanked! Rappers A$AP Rocky and Swizz Beatz were spotted out at the posh NY resturant and suppper club Son Cubano last night.     The two appeared to be in deep conversation during their meeting which we're sure revolved around fashion.  A$AP has a few things in common with Swizz since both are very high profile moves in the world of fashion.  And we all know A$AP considers himself "pretty" so maybe he got tips on landing a gig as the face of a fashion label...   And in new music videos....   Eve follows the "She Bad Bad" video with "Eve" the next offering from the upcoming Lip Lock disc (May 14th).  Featuring Miss Kitty, Eve shot the new video in London (where she lives with her super rich boyfriend Maximillion Cooper). She told Rap-Up TV, "That’s one of my favorite, favorite tracks. I think if any track on this album was me, that’s it for sure.” She also revealed that the disc will feature appearances from Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, Chrisette Michele, Dawn Richard, Pusha T and Juicy J.   And in controversial extrememly stupid soft drink ads.... Though you may not have heard that Tyler, The Creator teamed up with Mountain Dew (because it hasn't generated much press) we're here to inform you that he did.  In fact, he's created a series of ads with the company.  But his latest ad for the brand, which some folks called "racist", has been yanked from the company's social media platforms...though it can still be viewed on YouTube.   In the ad, a badly battered "white" woman on crutches is asked by a cop to pick a suspect out of a lineup of five African-American males and a goat named Felicia.  In addition to showing a group of Black men dressed in "stereotypical" street wear and having very "stereotypical" names, it seems that the woman is too afraid to identify the goat as the culprit (meanwhile he taunts her about "snitching"). We're sure in the mind of Tyler, The Creator this "ad" has a much deeper meaning when discussed for its social and political connotations....but this is supposed to be about drinking Mountain Dew right? PepsiCo responded to the criticism by pulling the ad saying, "We understand how this video could be perceived by some as offensive, and we apologize to those who were offended," the rep said. "We have removed the video from all Mountain Dew channels and have been informed that Tyler is removing it from his channels as well." She was always THE voice of Xscape, and now that LaTocha is embarking on her solo career, the world will get to see the fab chick's true talent. Beyonce Makes British Fans' DREAM Come True, ATTEMPTS Duet With ROYALTY Posted: 01 May 2013 07:45 AM PDT As she treks across the UK, Beyonce's been "surprising" fans and singing with royalty.  Find out about her UK niceties inside...   During her recent jaunt through the UK, Beyonce made the dreams of two very lucky fans come true.  Rob McGuire, a 16-year-old fan, just happened to be in the parking lot of Newbury Retail Park when the Queen Bey and her entourage walked by.  After making eye contact with Mrs. Carter, he politely asked her to speak via phone to one of her biggest fans.   He described the incident to Newbury Today,  She had bodyguards with her. She was wearing dark glasses and a hooded top, but I was fairly positive it was her. I called my friend because she is a huge fan. I didn’t want to be rude and just walk up to her. But then she walked right near me. I looked at one of the bodyguards and he looked at me, and then I looked at Beyoncé and just asked ‘would you speak to my mate, she’s your biggest fan?’ and she took the phone.” Moments later, not only had Rob met one of the biggest stars in the world, but he paid it forward and had Mrs. Carter speak to his bestie , 17-year-old Brandy Funderburk, too.  And during his brief encounter, Rob asked Bey why she decided to name of daughter Ivy, and she told him that the number 4 is her favorite number and IV is the Roman Numeral for "4." And if that tidbit wasn't enough to last a life time...Rob and Brandy also received two tickets to Bey's sold out show at the O2 arena. Brandy said, “I told Beyoncé that I’d been trying to get tickets for ages, and asked her was there any way to get them – and she said we could have two. It was amazing. It was so nice of her. She said she would have someone bring them round within four hours. I don’t know if I was really expecting the tickets to turn up.” But two hours later, Rob reported.... "I was at home, there was a knock on the door and Beyoncé’s assistant was on the doorstep. I wanted to hug her – but I didn’t. I wasn’t sure about telling people, I didn’t want to seem ungrateful, but I really wanted to tell them thanks. People still don’t believe it." And when she wasn't making dreams come true, Bey was putting royalty on the spot as Princess Eugenie (the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York) found out.  During Monday night's show at the O2, Bey went out to the audience and pointed the mic towards fans and tried to get the princess to sing the lyrics to "Irreplaceable."   The British press said Princess Eugenie was totally embarrassed and missed her cue....but all had fun laughing about it later.  And for the record, Beyonce had no idea that she was singing with a princess. Ciara & Future Share Love In The STRIP CLUB, CiCi Explains That Mysterious "N" Tattoo (And Future Shows Off His Matching "C" Tatt) Posted: 01 May 2013 06:52 AM PDT Ciara and Future had their own Body Party at King of Diamonds strip club in Miami last night.  Check out the twosome showing the skrippers some love & affection inside, plus Ci's explanation of that "N" tatt while Future shows off his matching "C" tatt.... Ciara and Future made their way to KOD last night to toss some dollars and Future rocked the mic while thew strippers rocked the pole...as we know that's who he makes his music for anyway. The twosome chilled in their own section, shades on, and was surrounded by money: Oh how cute.  Future has a "C" tatoo'd on his finger obviously for his boo of four days months.  And it's in the same location as her own "N" tattoo that reps his real name.   The obligatory stacks of cash and bottles of Ace were overly present. And "So Good" rapper B.o.B. came out for some fun too. Meanwhile, Ciara is still gushing about her boo in interviews.  She told Nessa of MTV Jams  exactly how she feels: "I'm with a person who makes me feel good. And makes me feel good in the universe." And about that "N" tattoo on her finger that seems pretty obvious is for her man (whose government name is Nayvadius Cash), she did her usual and played coy: "It's a tattoo and it represents something special. Janelle Monae.... While he's overseas opening up for Beyonce on the Mrs. Carter World Tour, Luke James is pushing out a remix with Bridget Kelly for his new single "I.O.U.". Luke's set to drop his Whispers In The Dark EP before releasing his studio debut album with Def Jam/N.A.R.S. called Made To Love. RED RUSH: Kanye West REUNITES With Kim Kardashian For ANOTHER Shopping Trip In Paris Posted: 30 Apr 2013 03:28 PM PDT With their due date quickly approaching, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian squeezed in time for another round of fancy shopping in the city of lights today. See KimYe on the streets of Paris inside....  Fresh from a family vacation in Greece, Kim Kardashian, in a scarlet maxi dress, reunited with Kanye West in Paris today where they were spotted out shopping.  Anything to ease the horrible pains of pregnancy Kim has spoken so much about. Fans of the twosome will notice that the couple seem to spend most of their time in Paris running in and out of the city's high-end shops, and today was no exception. They were spotted hitting up Givenchy, Ferragamo, Hermes, Celine and Lanvin. And with all of the shopping Kim and Kanye do together, and all the cash they make off reality shows and music, it makes sense that they're not asking friends for any baby gifts.  In fact, they've reportedly asked that fans and friends send donations to the Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in honor of their child's birth. A rep from the hospital applauded the couple saying, "Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital. Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund which will help care for the most critically ill babies and their families." It's great that KimYe are using the birth of their beloved baby to shine a light on a worthy cause.  Hopefully the couple can crack a smile to go along with their such giving nature... Jason Collins' EX-FIANCEE Found Out He Was GAY.....LAST WEEK! Posted: 30 Apr 2013 01:56 PM PDT Carolyn Moos, the ex-fiancee of Jason Collins, dated the baller for eight years but never made it down the aisle.  Last week...he told her why.  See what she said about Jason "coming out" inside....   In 2009, NBA baller Jason Collins called off his wedding to fiancee Carolyn Moos with an off-court play that left her heartbroken and wondering "why?" Last week...she got her answer. Before Jason became "the first openly gay professional American athlete", he made a long overdue phone call to his former girlfriend of eight years to explain why he abruptly ended their engagement.  Carolyn, a 6' 5" former WNBA player, opened up to TMZ about the intimate phone call her ex-fiance made to her a few days ago,   "It's very emotional for me as a woman to have invested 8 years in my dream to have a husband, soul mate, and best friend in him. So this is all hard to understand." Though he'd kept his fiancee and family members in the dark for many years, Jason talked to GMA's George Stephanopoulos during a taped interview this morning, and revealed why he was finally able to come out. "I always knew I was gay, its like you know that the sky is blue but you keep telling yourself it is red. I fought it for a long time but when you finally get to the point of acceptance there is nothing more beautiful. It feels incredible.' He also talked about his relationship with Carolyn and what stopped him from getting married saying, “Calling off the wedding was obviously a tough decision but it was the right one because I knew I wasn't getting married for the right reasons.” And now that they've talked about what happened a few years ago, Carolyn says she's ready to move forward and isn't holding any grudges,  "I care about [Jason] tremendously and only want the best for him. I want Jason to be happy for a lifetime and stay true to who he really is, inside and out." VIDEO FAB: Jason Derulo's "The Other Side" Posted: 30 Apr 2013 11:37 AM PDT Jason Derulo has released the highly-anticipated video for his hit single "The Other Side".  Watch the visual inside...  Jason Derulo dropped the video for "The Other Side" today where he showcased some eye-catching dance moves, including a headstand.  The Colin Tilley-directed video also shows off Jason's killer abs which he works very hard to maintain.  He told the Daily Mail, "I workout everyday, probably like five or six times a week.  I never plan to take days off, I just hit the gym and then have off a day when I feel like it. I eat pretty good too so it all helps.' Fans will also see Jason hook up with a sexy vixen in the video, and he says he real-life boo, Jordin Sparks, isn't threatened by his co-star.   'There were absolutely no issues whatsoever there and she was cool with it, you know. TV FAB: VH1's "Hit The Floor" (TEASER) + Nicci Gilbert & Syleena Johnson SQUARE OFF On "R&B Divas" (PREVIEW) Posted: 30 Apr 2013 09:42 AM PDT VH1 has released a new teaser for their upcoming scripted series "Hit The Floor" starring Kimberly Elise.  Watch the clip inside and see a preview of divas Nicci Gilbert and Syleena Johnson squaring off on TV One's "R&B Divas"....    VH1 has announced Monday, May 27th at 9PM ET/PT as the official premiere of their new scripted series “Hit the Floor” starring Dean Cain, Kimberly Elise and Charlotte Ross.  According to the press release,  “Hit The Floor” explores the sexy world of professional basketball and the dancers who make the fans (and players) go wild. The Los Angeles Devils are the number one team in the league. When the arena lights go on all of Hollywood comes out to support the million dollar players. But in this city these men share the fame, adrenalin, money, sex and power with their dancers, the Devil Girls. At the heart of “Hit The Floor” is Ahsha (Taylour Paige), a sheltered young woman who joins the team against the wishes of her mother Sloane (Kimberly Elise), who knows this treacherous, tempting world all too well having been a Devil Girl herself.
