DATE NIGHT: Bow Wow & Angela Simmons At THE PROM On "106 & Park" + Wiz Khalifa & Amber Rose In Las Vegas Posted: 25 May 2013 07:22 AM PDT Bow Wow took Angela Simmons to the prom on a special episode of "106 & Park".  Check out their prom attire inside and see Amber Rose flaunt her post-pregnancy body with Wiz Khalifa in Las Vegas.     Though we've seen Bow Wow and Angela Simmons out and about as "friends" on numerous occasions, they went on an official date for Friday's "Prom" episode of "106 & Park."  Angela wore a long white sequined gown with a thigh-high slit, while Bow Wow rocked a pair of salmon colored trousers with a black bow tie.  16-year-old Disney star and “Dancing with the Stars” finalist, Zendaya co-hosted with Bow Wow in an adorable black & white tuxedo, top knot and red lips. It's interesting that we haven't seen the much of the other co-hosts, Miss Mykie, Shorty da Prince or Paigion. It looks like BET has been pairing Bow Wow with a slew of other talent. We wonder why.....   And in Las Vegas... Rapper Wiz Khalifa shielded his eyes from the bright lights as he walked the press line at Palms Pool inside Palms Resort and Casino yesterday.   He posed alongside fiancee Amber Rose who has lost a reported 30lbs since giving birth to baby Bash.   Amber's secret to weight-loss success is trainer Jeanette Jenkins, who has her on a strict fitness regimen. Before he walked off the red carpet, Wiz sipped from a small cup.  And we're pretty sure he wasn't doing a "shot" of water! HOT MAMA: Nicole Murphy FLAUNTS Her FAB BIKINI BODY In Hawaii Posted: 25 May 2013 06:14 AM PDT Nicole Murphy, the stunning fiancee of "Live With Kelly & Michael" host Michael Strahan was spotted emerging from the waters of Hawaii earlier this week.  See the hot mama strut her stuff inside... Fans of "Live With Kelly And Michael" may have noticed that Michael Strahan wasn't sitting   alongside Kelly Ripa on Friday...and with good reason.  The ex-NFL superstar had jetted off to Hawaii for a mini-vacation with his gorgeous fiancee Nicole Murphy. The happy couple, who've been engaged since 2009, were spotted walking to the beach for a relaxing day in the sun yesterday. Although Nicole slipped off her cover-up to reveal her fabulous bikini body, Michael (who's STILL built like a athletic god), kept his phenomenal body under wraps with a white t-shirt and dark brown beach shorts.  As he typed attentively on his Blackberry,  he shielded his head (and concealed his identity) with a towel. Unlike Michael, Nicole, who's the mother of five kids, had no problem stripping down and flaunting her stunning figure. Chief Keef & Katy Perry SQUASH Their TWITTER Beef + Ray J CLEARS UP His INFAMOUS "SMACKING UP" Fabolous RANT Posted: 24 May 2013 03:39 PM PDT The TWITTER Beef between Chief Keef and pop princess Katy Perry has officially ended. See their word exchange inside and listen to Ray J re-tell the story of that infamous fight with Fabolous in Las Vegas. In case you missed it, Chief Keef has been having a pretty eventful week.  First, he was arrested in Atlanta for smoking weed in his hotel room, then, he used his Twitter account to threaten one of the world's biggest pop princesses. Earlier in the week, "Teenage Dream" singer Katy Perry tweeted her disapproval of Chief's latest hit.....and he got HIGHLY offended.  She said,    Although Katy's statement was very "general" and didn't directly insult the rapper...he really got pissed. After she got wind of the tweets, Katy did not want to rumble with the rapper (who has an extensive arrest record) so she apologized (though we don't think he deserved one).    After the weed smoke cleared...Chief may have realized that he overreacted to Katy, so he retweeted her apology and added, "Oh Im Sorry Too Then". SMH....why are these gangsta thugs ALWAYS the most sensitive?  And on the radio: Ray J continued hit press tour through NYC to discuss his hit "I Hit It First" and his new gig on "Bad Girls Clubs All-Star" this morning.  But before he and The Breakfast Club could get to new business, he had to clear up a few things from his past. When asked about his ex-Kim Kardashian and her pregnancy, he told the hosts, "Listen, that’s not my place to even converse about that. You know what I’m sayin’?. But the Kim K. issue wasn't the best elephant in the room. Nearly two years ago, Ray J called into the broadcast and went on an infamous rant about smacking up Fabolous and threatening to have the Booty Goons rape him. Of course....he HAD to clear that up! On the fight with Fabolous: That was like a ‘Hangover’ movie. It was a real bad night. It was a mixture of bad stuff. It was alcohol. Everything else, I blacked out. If i didn't call the radio station, i wouldn’t remember it happened. All my friends was laughin’. On threatening to have him "touched" by the Booty Goons: It was a bad night and Fab know, I was turnt up. Listen, Fab is a good dude. It was a turnt up weekend. CELEBS GIVE BACK: FIRST LADY Michelle Obama & Kerry Washington "FREEZE-DANCE" And Brings The "Arts" To D.C. Kids Posted: 24 May 2013 01:50 PM PDT First Lady Michelle Obama joined actress Kerry Washington to help inspire community children to change their lives through the arts recently.  Find out where they went and what they did inside... First lady Michelle Obama and actress Kerry Washington appeared at Savoy Elementary School in southeast Washington, D.C today as part of the Turnaround Arts initiative of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. The program gives grants to low-income schools, in an effort to improve students’ overall performance through arts education. Several celebrities have signed on for the program with  Kerry adopting Savoy Elementary and actor Forest Whitaker and actress Sarah Jessica Parker each adopting schools last month. During her talk, which include a few dance moves, the FLOTUS touted Kerry for her committment to the program and enouraged the school kids to keep striving for success, even when faced with failure and rejection. “Kerry got a lot of rejections She spent a lot of time developing her craft. She spent a lot of time practicing and working and trying out for things and having people tell her. ‘No,’ ‘No thank you,’ ‘You’re not good enough,’ ‘You’re not pretty enough.’ Could you imagine somebody telling Kerry that she wasn’t pretty enough, she wasn’t tall enough, she was too short? That’s all performing is, is rejection. … But when you work hard and you invest thousands of hours in anything, you get better. And that’s what you guys are learning here at Savoy.”   During her remarks, she also thanked Kerry for her level of involvement and called her a "friend".  "She's not just a beautiful, fashionable, talented woman, but she's real inside, and there is beauty deep inside. The fact that she is flying all over the country but she comes to spend time with you guys, and she does it for real; the fact that she's taken time out of her schedule to come here today, it shows a level of respect for me, of course, and our friendship, but it shows more her love for all of you. So, Kerry, love you, girl. Keep it going. Very proud of you." And Kerry really threw her hat in the ring with the children...she kicked off her heels and joined the kids on stage for some and dance. Later in the day, Kerry also read stories to one of the third grade classes. CANDIDS: Wendy Williams BOSOMS Her Way Through THE GROVE + Bria And Shayne Murphy LEAVING The Nail Salon Posted: 24 May 2013 11:54 AM PDT Talk show host Wendy Williams was spotted at The Grove this week, where she signed copies of her latest book.  See the candids inside and see Bria and Shayne Murphy leaving the nail salon.    "HOW YOU DOING?"  Talk show maven Wendy Williams strolled through The Grove this week to sign copies of her latest book Ask Wendy and tape an interview with Mario Lopez for "EXTRA". Wendy's known for her over-the-top personality and we're sure fans, seeing her for the first time, didn't realize how over-the-top her bosom is.  Miss Wendy does look good! Wendy sat for a very candid conversation with EXTRA's Mario Lopez where she dished on her book, her hit show, and her upcoming stint on Broadway in Chicago. She also signed a few copies of her book, Ask Wendy, which hit stores on May 7th. After her interview, Wendy was escorted off the set in a golf cart....giving her a break from walking around in her six-inch Christian Louboutin heels.    Also in the LA area..... TV FAB: Jennifer Hudson NEGOTIATING A RETURN To "American Idol" As A JUDGE?! + Russell Simmons INKS Two-Year DEAL With HBO Posted: 24 May 2013 09:38 AM PDT Industy insiders report that Jennifer Hudson is negotiating a return to ""American Idol" as a judge.  Get the deets on the deal inside find out about Russell Simmons new deal with HBO.   According to entertainment insiders, Jennifer Hudson and her team are negotiaing the Oscar-winner's return to "American Idol" for Season 13.  A source told The Wrap, "She got the offer and her reps are currently negotiating with [the show's production company] Fremantle." But Jennifer won't be the only former AI contestant at the table.  The insider explained that AI execs have devised a brilliant plan to bring back it's core audience. "The show's producers feel they've lost their core audience. And they want to bring back former contestants in order to tell their core audience, 'We love you.' They know they've made some major mistakes over the past few seasons and they want to make it right with their fans." So how do they plan to make it right?  In addition to Jennifer, sources say Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken have all been mentioned for the AI All-Star panel. In other "Idol" news, Randy Jackson officially announced his departure from the show earlier this week.  During a talk with ABC NEWS, he explained, “I really have always felt that people made too much of the judges and not enough of the talent."  And while explaining that he was not forced out or fired, Randy hinted that it was simply time to move on.  “I don’t think it’s a ‘Why give it up now?  I just think that I’ve been through a lot of iterations of the show.” Good luck Randy...we'll miss you dawg!   In other television news.... With tv classics like "Def Comedy Jam" and "Run's House" already under his belt, media mogul Russell Simmons is set to make more tv history again.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, Russell signed a two-year deal to create projects for HBO. We're not sure what Russell has in store for the network, but he's always done a great job of creating programs that allow hip hop to shine. In addition to co-founding the Def Jam label, Mr. Simmons published the New York Times best-seller Do You! 12 Laws to Access the Power in You to Achieve Happiness and Success and founded GlobalGrind.com. PERFORMANCE FAB: Mariah Carey PERFORMS "#Beautiful" With Miguel, SUFFERS Wardrobe MALFUNCTION AND CURSES On "GMA" Posted: 24 May 2013 08:50 AM PDT Mariah Carey kicked off the GMA Summer Concert Series this morning with a wardrobe malfunction, a curse word and an appearance by Miguel!  Watch the early morning antics of Mariah inside.... Mariah Carey was in rare form this morning as she kicked off the GMA Summer Concert Series in New York's Central Park.  During her set, Mariah sang "Always By My Baby", "We Belong Together" and "#Beautiful" with Miguel. While even the most die-hard Mariah stan will admit her morning voice wasn't the best, her on-stage dramatics are what made the performance worth watching. First, Mariah wore a gorgeous Donatella Versace gown....which popped in the back.  And in her whispery diva-voice, said, “I love you Donatella, but it popped, darling.” Then.... Before Miguel hit the stage, Mimi (after a quick costume change) slipped off her heels and also let ("Oh shit") slip out of her mouth.  She quickly apologized to the audience and said, "You didn't hear that."
