The video quality isn't fantastic, but just listening to this incredible cover had us shivering from head to toe! If it wasn't as good as Timberlake's original - it was damn close! | Russell Crowe RESCUED By U.S. Coast Guard Posted: 03 Sep 2012 12:20 PM PDT Close call for Russell Crowe!!! This weekend, the Academy Award winner was kayaking with a friend off of the Cold Spring Harbor on the Long Island Sound when they got lost. It was already nighttime, so they decided to head to shore until they could receive help - they were a whole ten miles from where they originally were supposed to land. Luckily, the Coast Guard were patrolling the area around 10 p.m. and heard the Noah actor yell out - the actor and his friend then paddled over the Coast Guard's boat where they were lifted onto the boat and given a ride back to Huntington Harbor. Crowe sent out a special message for his new friends who had picked him up. Here's what he said on Twitter:
We're so glad that the actor is safe and sound! And a big shout out to the Coast Guard who made sure of that. Now that's a CRAZY labor day!!! [Image via Splash News.] |

During an interview the sci fi acton hero talked about everything from the differences between the Dark Knight Rises and Star Trek 2 to what trekkies can expect from the second installment of this lucrative franchise. Jay-Z & Beyoncé were spotted at the Made In America festival in Phi Town aka Illadelphia aka PHILLY!!! These two love birds were nestling up against each other when Jay-Z wasn't up on stage totally rocking out with his - well, you know what we mean. On Saturday night, the rapper was joined onstage by Pearl Jam for a rendition of the rapper's 99 problems. It was just the apex of one fantastic night. We'd seriously be surprised at this point if Jay's got one problem, let alone 99 - ha! |

The Dark Knight Rises became just the eleventh movie in cinematic history to pass the one billion dollar milestone. The film grossed $431.4 million domestic and $577.7 million international numbers which actually beat its predecessor The Dark Knight. Quite impressive indeed. Last week, we reported that after quite an extensive and increasingly nasty public feud, Madonna let bygones be bygones and dedicated a song to Elton John during her MDNA concert in Nice, France! However, while we we hoped that the Rocket Man would follow suit, we've come to find out that he already HAS...because the pair actually ran into each other before the performance and took the opportunity to put their differences aside!
