CELEBRITIES POP OFF: Solange Gets Weapon Pulled On Her By Miami Police!+The Dream Talks Christina Milian & Suicidal Thoughts

Solange Knowles is extra pissy right now.  And for good reason.  She tweeted her outrage and disappointment with policeman who pulled a weapon on her for no good reason last night. 

 

And The Dream is back to doing interviews since his next studio album drops this fall, and he's talking about his ex-wife Christina Milian, suicidal thoughts, and why he's the best to ever live.  Oh...ok.  Deets inside..

Solange had a run-in witht he Miami police this weekend.  And she tweeted what went down and that she's calling to report them.  Apparently, she had a run-in witht he Miami police department for some reason, then the PD used unnecessary aggressive force and also pulled out a weapon on her:

We don't know the whole story yet.  But I do know police have been getting more and more out of hand for years.  Hopefully this gets settled soon and glad Solo is speaking up for herself if she was wronged.

The Dream is talking about his ex Ms. Milian and NOT wanting to work with her again, suicide, and other ish these days.  Check out this excerpt of his interview with VIBE:

Let’s talk about your next love songs. You had a very public split with Christina Milian how has that influenced your coming new music?
It’s just allowed me to be more real. I’d rather be the bad guy than anybody else be the bad girl because I can handle it. It’s a bad thing that two people can break up, but the truth of the matter is that it happens all the time for different reasons. But what’s wrong with a public breakup is that they never really know the truth. And I won’t be the person who says it. I’m not going to be that type. If something breaks, it’s not something to celebrate.

Well-put. So you’re saying you’re not the only one who did wrong in that relationship, but at the same time there’s no need for details?
Right. I won’t put something on someone else’s plate that they can’t handle. What this does for me is give me another plateau to speak on break ups from another point of view. Maybe through me a woman can learn how to keep a ni--a.

One of the things I was surprised to see from you, being a private person, was that letter you posted on your site some months after your break up. In that letter you admitted to contemplating suicide.
Yep, every day.

Tell me about that time and how you were able to rise above it.
I think it was just how my mind works. You have so many things rushing through your mind and I was trying to figure out how to make it stop. It’s easy to look at someone and say there’s 80,000 different ways for you to deal with it. No. Maybe for you, but me having to one, be in control of every aspect of my life and two, loving people how I do and being so thoughtful… when certain things are out of control, if it’s the type of personality that I have, you start to lean towards the best way to make it end. Like what stops this for not only me, but everyone?

Of course that’s not the smartest thing to do, which is evidently why I’m still here. But it’s just one of those things that creeps into your mind when you’re not even paying attention. As soon as “Umbrella” happened I was nonstop, everything was crazy. It’s not about having a pity party, it’s just the truth of my life. What led me to that thinking was taking everything and everyone so serious instead of doing things the way I think about my music. Which is who gives a f--k what you think? Everything is speculation so it’s like how do I say something so you do understand, but you don’t blame me or blame Christina. But since everyone has me as the bad person, I’ll just be the bad motherf--ker. And eventually I just got over it.

Glad you did. It takes a lot to not only overcome that, but also speak about it publicly.
Definitely. People deal with it more than you think. I’m human. At that moment… what I would tell all girls… is if a man asks you to marry them, it’s okay to say no. It may f--k with his ego for the time right there, but if you’re being honest and you’re just not ready, then both of y’all are just not ready. That’s what the common problem was [between me and Christina]. We weren’t ready for that—for a whole bunch of reasons I’ll never name. We just weren’t. Sometimes you have to meet people during the right time.

True life. I caught a tweet between you two that made it seem as if you were working musically again.
Mmm-mmm. She asked me but…

You don’t want to mix work and divorce together?
[Shakes head]

For someone who loves a challenge, that’s a little surprising to hear.
Me and Christina already discussed what I think she should be doing and I would never do anything other than what I think is as real as she could be.

BABIES IN BIKINIS: OK Or NOT OK?!

Halle Berry's 3-year-old baby girl Nahla Aubry hit the beach in Malibu yesterday afternoon for some weekend fun in the sun.  And with the popularity of shows like "Toddlers & Tiaras" that raise eyebrows and that create a war between people who believe certain clothing--like bikinis--are too overly sexual for a kid, we've gotta ask.

 

Are bikinis like Nahla's OK or NOT OK?  Speak on it....

Many baby and kid bikinis are laced with ruffles and have large bloomers to cover the whole bum and a longer top portion that resembles more of a tankini than a triangle bra top.  The latter is what is becoming more and more popular and many moms and people in general tend to have an opinion about it.  So...

MORE VMA NEWS: The Throne Set To Perform Tonight

It's about to be a starry night in L.A. tonight.  The Throne rolled in to the city to take the performance stage at tonight's MTV VMA's.  It was supposed to be a surprise but....oh wells.  Word already hit the internet streets.

 

Deets inside...

Word got out today that Jay-Z & Kanye, whose Throne tour kicks off in October, are hitting the VMA stage tonight just weeks after their hit collabo album, Watch The Throne, hit the shelves.

Jay & 'Ye are def in L.A. this weekend...but the folks over at E! Online say there are no placecards for Jay or 'Ye in the audience seating. Which means, very likely, they will be performing.

Now the question remains which track are they about to perform live together for the first time.  Their hit single "Otis"?  Or are they bringing Beyonce, who is already slated to perform, on with them for "Lift Off"?  Or Frank Ocean for one of his two tracks on the album?

We'll see tonight.  Also already announced to perform are Chris Brown, Adele, Gaga, Lil Wayne, and plenty others.  The show airs tonight Live at 8pm CT/9pm ET.

BONUS: Speaking of Jay, remember that diss track for Jay & Bey that Weezy just dropped off his The Carter IV album?  Drake, who's also featured on the track, spoke on it to MTV News at the BMI Awards Friday night saying:

“I just got a beat and did a verse over it.  Whatever any other individual has to say, you have to ask the man himself. I just did what I know how to do. I just got on a record. I heard the beat, did a verse and heard the final product.  I gues that would be a question for Wayne.”

Trying to cover your own ass I see.  Can't be mad at that...

Lebron, Chris Paul, & Jada Crawley Celebrate Savannah's 25th Birthday Bash!

Miami Heat star LeBron James celebrated his girlfriend--and mother of his 2 children--Savannah Brinson's 25th birthday with a big "Arabian Night" birthday bash last night back home in Akron, Ohio.  And we've got the pics inside of the couple dancing it up with fellow NBA friends (who are planning their wedding) Chris Paul & Jada Crawley...

Savannah looked fab rocking this sparkly brown and gold mini dress for her 25th birthday bash last night at their home they still have back in Akron.  And we're told it was a "super intimate and private" affair with close family and friends.  They decked it out with tents and a sexy "Arabian Nights" theme.

She hit the dance floor with her boo LeBron.  Dude looks like somebody's 45 year old uncle out there.  They're cute though...

 

New Orleans Hornets star Chris Paul was there to kick it with his homie.

Pretty girl Kelly Rowland hit the VH1 Save The Music & Give Back Hollywood event yesterday to raise money for music for schools and kids.

Casually hot as usual.  By the way, Kelly tweeted that her hit single "Motivation" is now PLATINUM.  COngrats!

SPOTTED: Rihanna And Her Pals Go Shopping In Porto Cervo

Rihanna was spotted still on Holiday in Sardinia with a few of her girlfriends.  We've got pics of the ladies shopping for luxe goodies inside...

 

Rihanna, who was spotted in Portofino, Italy earlier, has changed locations to shop it up with her friends in Porto Cervo, Sardinia yesterday.  And she rocked a gold bandeau top and wide leg army trousers.

Though the ladies have been partying aboard a yacht that cost $300,000, they went shopping for more a few more luxury items.

Rih Rih is slated to perform at the MTV VMAs on Sunday.

Christina Milian, Nas, Drake and Charlie Wilson were among the celebs who attended The 11th Annual BMI Urban Awards last night.  Hip hop icon Snoop Dogg was honored and Drake was named "Songwriter Of The Year".  See pics and video of the Snoop Dogg tribute and Drake's speech inside....

 

Last night, the 11th Annual BMI Urban Awards were held at the Hollywood’s Pantages Theater in Los Angeles.  

Christina Milian turned heads in a canary yellow gown and an orange-red lip.  So pretty on her!

The legendary Snoop Dogg was honored during the ceremony which he attended with his wife Shante and their daughter Cori Broadus.

He posed with Charlie Wilson who seems to have gone for the "Ron Isley slickback."

Drake looked very casual in a wine colored cable knit sweater.  Hmmm.

Busta Rhymes was there.

 

Model/rapper/video chick Angel Lola Luv rocked a dress t flaunt her curves.

Wiz Khalifa participated in the Snoop Dogg tribute.

Warren G was there to support Snoop.

"Basketball Husband" Ron Artest made an appearance. 

Singer Kimberley Locke looked cute in her beige outfit.  Chick's been keeping her body looking great ever since "Celebrity Fit Club."  And I wonder if she's still dating Harvey...

HOW SWEET: DMX Names His Newest Baby Girl After Aaliyah, Full "One In A Million" BET Tribute Vid

DMX, who starred in Romeo Must Die with Aaliyah, gave the late Ms. Haughton herself a super sweet honor recently.  He named his  youngest baby girl after another Baby Girl--Aaliyah herself.

 

Video of X telling Terrence J. about it and showing off his cute youngin, plus catch the full BET tribute, "Aaliyah: One In A Million" inside in case you missed it...

Before X was arrested yesterday for speeding, he called in to "106 & Park" on Thursday to open up about his former co-star Aaliyah's 10-year-anniversary.  And he revealed his youngest baby for the first time:

Arond the 1:30 mark, he brings out his baby girl in his studio and stated: "This is Aaliyah.  It's my newest baby.  And I named her after Aaliyah.  that's how special she was to me.  Aaliyah..know that you're named after an angel."

The tribute got 1.1 million viewers last Thursday night.
