Real Housewives May Not Have Saved Russell's Life, But Taylor Armstrong Thinks Differently For Herself

It's sad, but many people still believe that his role on the hit reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, played a hand in Russell Armstrong's decision to kill himself this summer. However, we may never know the real reason why Russell decided to end his life, so it isn't fair to speculate. What we do know is that his wife, Taylor Armstrong, swears that without the show, she might've taken the same path as her husband.

While being interviewed this morning on KTLA-TV, Taylor admitted what an impact the show had and has on her life, especially during the most abusive stages of her marriage. She explained:

"There was a storm happening in my life that was very separate from a camera being there. I was in an abusive relationship for six years and that was going on...The only thing I would say. if the cameras were not in my life, I might not be sitting here today. A lot of domestic violence situations end in murder-suicide, versus just suicide. I have my daughter with me today, and by the grace of god and, perhaps, reality TV, I'm sitting here and so is she."

Wow. Bet no one ever thought of her situation that way. Guess you can never really understand people's motives until they share them with you.

Like the physical abuse; it was only after Russell was gone did Taylor feel safe enough to share the constant ordeal she had been dealing with being married to Russ. Taylor revealed that she has a titanium implant "holding up" her right eye, due to an injury inflicted by Russell, and then added:

"I believe that, subconsciously, I may have signed up for the show to try and allow my problems to be in the public eye to some extent because, again, it was my saving grace. Going through that for so long and then having the ability to find a platform of my own—which is really what I want to focus on now, helping women who are in a dangerous situation, find a platform find a financial source to get them out of that situation before something tragic happens."

Well, something really tragic did happen and we guess this is the way you're choosing to get past this.

It's a fairly complicated and saddening situation, even now, months after it happened.

We just want the best for everyone involved. Some peace and some clarity on the past, present and whatever lies ahead.

Apple To Close Stores On Wednesday For Jobs Memorial

Apple is going to close stores in the U.S. for a while on Wednesday morning so employee can watch a live feed and pay respects in a company-wide celebration of Steve Jobs' life.

The celebration -- which will be held from 10 a.m. PT to 11:30 a.m. PT -- follows a private memorial service for the late tech visionary at Stanford University attended by Silicon Valley luminaries, politicians and celebrities.

Many stores across California were not accepting online bookings for Wednesday morning, either for tech-support or tutorial appointments.

They won't be closed all day, but many stores aren't taking appointments in the morning.

We're so glad to hear that Steve's final legacy isn't the iPhone 4S, and that there is still more to come.

We miss you Steve!

Major Real Housewives Drama! Brandi Accuses Kim Of Using Crystal Meth!

Newcomer to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills clan Brandi Glanville accused Kim Richards of being "cracked out" of her mind from using crystal meth.

Now, in Brandi's defense, she made the comment after being berated rather harshly for her lack of what Kyle and the others deem proper parenting.

But daaaaammmmn girlfran! You do not play!

What happens next is a big bowl of ME-OW!

Harry Belafonte Wasn't Napping! He Was …

At 84-years-old, the dude has a lot to reflect on!

Poor Harry Belafonte has been put through the ringer today as video as circulated around the net of a live broadcast from last Friday in which Harry looks to be taking a nap during his interview. However, his rep is coming forward to clarify that poor Harry was completely awake - he was just in a trance of traquilty. A sea of serenity, if you will.

His rep explains:

"After weeks of literally hundreds of interviews promoting his HBO documentary, memoir and CD, Mr. Belafonte had an early morning satellite TV tour this past Friday. True to form, there was a technical glitch in the feed to a local station in Bakersfield, CA. His earpiece wasn't working, so he decided to take the time to meditate before the rest of his Day-O. Mr. Belafonte is 84 years young, but sharper and more awake than most who have been interviewing him. Maybe the world would be a better place if more people took a moment to meditate."

PREACH!

It's all good, Harry! In fact, we didn't really see the need to defend yourself at all. Junkets like that are so tedious and tiresome. Someone half your age would've probably been beat by that time too!

Glad to know that you're centered, though. That is very important.

Chord Overstreet, after walking away from the gig three months ago to pursue other projects, is in final talks with Ryan Murphy and Co. to reprise his role as Sam Evans on Glee. We're told he'll be getting the same deal he got before - a recurring character title - and that his first big episode back will be the eight of this season.

You know what, we're not going to rub anything in on the kid. We're just going to welcome him and his Bieber locks back with open arms. But the big question is:

Who's Glee club will be chose?! Will he stay loyal to the New Directions or will he make a pass to earn back the love of Mercedes Jones on Shelby's new gaggle of misfits?! Only time will tell!

Welcome back, Chord! Who else is excited to hear he'll be back?

Team Edward, Team Jacob, Team Emmett! Gather round for a new batch of stills from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part One!

We were some what convinced that we would have to wait until after Halloween for some really juicy BD stuff, and while we're still waiting on seeing some clips from the flick (SOOON?!), these new peeks are still something to celebrate.

Like look at Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed! Look at them clearing out that forest with their super-vampy strength for the wedding! And look at Ashley Greene's hair and outfit! So befitting of her character to wear something from the 30s. A very flapper kind of look! And look at Taylor Lautner. Sure he has his shirt on, but we'll forgive him just this once because he isn't really a werewolf and we're sure it was cold out there in Vancouver in the dead of night. But look at that fierce face he's making. It's just screaming out, "Teenage Mutant Supernatural Angst!!!"

And of course, we have those newlyweds! Oh, so happy are they! Who knew Kristen Stewart could smile so wide! Who knew Robert Pattinson was so dapper! Oh wait, WE DID! LOLz!

Sammie Sweetheart & Deena Nicole Endure Ridicule By The Hand Of Kathie Lee

Here's a riddle for you:

What do you get when you put four women in an awkward position with four bottles of Pinot Grigio and air it live nationwide?

THIS HOT MESS!

You know, we don't think people give enough credit to Kathie Lee's journalistic integrity. There are those who would really be intimated by the cast of the Jersey Shore, especially the ladies! Time and time again, those guidettes have proven they can throw down like any of the bros. They know how to pull a weave and bust a botoxed face like true pros!

So it was truly ballsy of Kathie to offend both Sammie and Deena to their faces on The Today Show this morning. Sure, some might call what she says off-the-cuff remarks, but to date, we can't think of anyone who has said these kinds of things (and meant them) right to their face! Killer!

Props to Deena and Sammie though. They kept their composure. They didn't react badly. No tables were flipped. No bottles were thrown. No duck phones were harmed in the making of this segment.

Yay! Anne Hathaway Joining Les Mis Cast!

Anne Hathaway just signed that paper committing herself to act in the Universal Pictures adaptation of Les Miserables.

Whoo! It was already good with eye candy like Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe, but now it's just gonna be fun!

Annie will play Fantine. Perrr-fEct!

And, as expected, Universal will be releasing the film right in time for top shelf Oscar buzz -- December 7, 2012.

Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Are Still Going Strong!

They're even spending holidays together!

Sources are reporting that things are getting sort of serious for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Last week, the pair took off for a romantic adventure back in Boston to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving.

Earlier last week, Ryan was spotted visiting Blake on the set of Gossip Girl in New York (does that sting, Penn?), before bringing her back with him to Boston for an intimate and romantic dinner at a French restaurant. Since he couldn't be in his native Canada for the holiday, Ryan made do with some of the best food in Boston's South End and his best gal. Onlookers reveal:

"Ryan brought Blake Lively with him and if you didn't know any better, you would think they were a couple. They looked like they were really into each other. He had his arm around her and they were both smiling. They sat at a corner booth and it was just the two of them. They shared everything — for appetizers they had the grilled portobello mushroom with roasted peppers and butternut squash tortellini. For dinner, they split the cornish game hen linguine and the grilled swordfish. Ryan said he was celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving! For dessert they split the warm chocolate torte with vanilla ice cream. They were definitely in a celebratory mood!"

Mmm! Sweet and delicious! Such a splendid time they must've had.

Wonder if they'll plan something equally as special for his birthday next week! He's going to be 11 years older than you, Blake! Make the day count!

So really, Penn: did it hurt when she brought Ryan around? Did it, DID IT?!
