Janet Jackson Reschedules AND Reduces Australia Tour Dates Posted: 24 Oct 2011 01:40 PM PDT First Courtney Love...then Flo Rida....now Janet! Australia is SERIOUSLY having bad luck with concerts! In an effort to make sure that she's around to give her family support during the Conrad Murray trial, Janet Jackson has announced that she'll be rescheduling and reducing her Australian tour dates in Melbourne. Here's what she had to say about it in a statement she released yesterday: "When I planned these shows, the schedule in California was completely different. After talking with my family last night, I decided we must be together right now. This saddens me in so many ways." Instead of performing on Oct. 26, 27, and 29, she'll now be performing only on Nov. 3 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. Here's more on Janet's tour schedule change from promoter Paul Dainty: "It is important that Janet is with her family at this critical point in the hearing. While Janet and our company apologize for any inconvenience for the reschedule of the Melbourne shows, we thank Janet for the great and successful concerts in Perth and Adelaide and eagerly await her return." While this is a major bummer for Janet's fans in Australia, we certainly understand where she's coming from, and given the fact that she missed MJ's Tribute concert for the same reason, this doesn't come as any huge surprise. At 60 years old, he has just married Susan Schneider at the Meadowood Resort. This is his third marriage, but we hope it's the right one! Madonna Disses GaGa At London Premiere Of W.E. Posted: 24 Oct 2011 01:10 PM PDT But maybe she was just making a funny. Yeah, we're sure that's probably, most likely what was going on here. Last night, Madonna finally got to premiere her new film W.E. in London. The masses turn out for the event, press and fans a like, but Madonna started quite a stir amongst her fans inside and outside the theater. First, fans were lined up for hours hoping to get a chance to meet Madge before she went inside for the premiere. Unfortunately for them, their time was wasted in vain as Madonna only made time for a handful of fans before rushing into the theatre. As she went, she was barraged by the jeers and boos of those most loyal to her, though in all honesty, she didn't really seem to mind. Things got a bit worse for Madonna once inside, as a lucky fan who got in to see the movie, actually overheard Madge diss Lady GaGa. The inside source explains: "Everyone took their seats and with a brief introduction to the stage Madonna made her entrance. Madonna then went on to introduce the movie before taking her seat. My favorite Madonna moment of the night occurred once Madonna was seated when a fan seated behind her shouted out something relating to the Lady GaGa comparison to which Madonna responded "Lady Who?!!!" I thought great response!!!" You might be the only one! Madonna fans are fierce, but GaGa fans are equally so and there is nothing they hate MORE than the comparison of the two divas. No one wants to be labeled a copy cat, especially someone who strives so hard to be original. Our hearts, however, are big enough for both and we just hope Madge was simply trying to brush the question off, rather than say something disheartening about Mother Monster. Dr. Conrad Murray's Defense Team Is Fighting With Each Other! Posted: 24 Oct 2011 12:50 PM PDT Another point to the prosecution. Doesn't sound like Dr. Conrad Murray's team can handle their own drama, much less defend their client! Words has it that things have taken a turn for the worst for Dr. Murray's legal team, who is handling his case in the Michael Jackson death trial. The lawyers are fighting with each other and their work is suffering for it! As Dr. Murray can't practice medicine anymore, he doesn't really have the funds to take care of his team the way he should. Ed Chernoff, Dr. Murray's lead attorney, is from Houston, TX, and as he didn't want to put any more financial burden on his client, he moved in with Michael Flanagan, another member of the team, to save Conrad some money. However, Ed moved out of Mike's place a week and a half ago and things have been volatile ever since. A source explains: "Ed didn't like the way Michael was handling the prosecution witnesses. Ed felt that Michael was too abrasive and caustic with his questioning, and that Michael allowed witnesses to clarify points that only helped the prosecution's case. Things were getting very tense, and he's moved into a hotel in Santa Monica." Things got even worse between the men when Ed insisted on taking over the cross-examination of the DA's Propofol witness, Dr. Steven Shafer. In insider adds: "When Ed told Michael that he would be handling Dr. Shafer, he felt like the rug was pulled out from under him. There is nothing Michael can do about it because Ed is the lead attorney. Michael was specifically brought on board to handle the medical aspects of the case, along with the witnesses. Ed and Michael are barely talking to each other right now. Michael has essentially been frozen out for the time being." Whoa! Conrad, time to have a pow-wow or something. Your team is crumbling at the seams, which can't mean good things for your "defense". On a side note though, doesn't this have the makings of a perfect new drama though. Like the headline reads, The Talk just welcomed Aisha Tyler aboard as their newest full-time co-host. Having done such a great job the week she guest-hosted in September, producers felt she would be a perfect everyday fit to sit down with Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, and Sheryl Underwood. U guys may recognize her from Friends or Ghost Whisperer, but we bet a lot of you have heard her voice on Archer! Yep, she's Lana Kane on the animated spy series, and she is FIERCE! Flo Rida Misses TWO Shows In Australia! Posted: 24 Oct 2011 11:50 AM PDT Australia is NOT having good luck with their music festivals lately! On Saturday, Flo Rida was scheduled to perform at the Fat As Butter festival AND at a club show at Mounties in Sydney, but he reportedly wouldn't leave his hotel room and wasn't in "a suitable condition" to go on stage for either event. Here's what Flo Rida's team tweeted about it on the rapper's behalf: "Australian fans, I was looking forward to performing for you but due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn't able to do so last night." Here's an excerpt from a statement released today by the Fat As Butter festival: "We are extremely disappointed that Flo Rida decided not to fulfill his commitment to appear at the Fat As Butter festival on Saturday, but we are more disappointed that he let his fans down. We worked overtime to secure his performance, in the months leading up to the festival as well as on the day of the festival itself. Fat As Butter was one of the first shows locked in for his Australian tour and was set to be the largest in terms of audience attendance." More from Sydney club Mounties: "...Every time we got our hopes up that he was in transit to the venue, we would find out that he had not in fact left his hotel room. The most difficult part was then turning him away from the Club when he finally arrived nearly three hours after he was due on stage. We did not believe he was in a suitable condition to perform." We understand things happen beyond our control, but it looks like Flo Rida really let down a lot of people! Hopefully he had a VERY good reason.
