We were thrilled to find out back in May that this year's upcoming VH1 Divas special would pay tribute to the life and music of dearly departed Whitney Houston, and couldn't wait to learn the line-up of talent to be featured for such an occasion! However, we're pretty confused to report that in spite of the concert's namesake, this year's line-up warrants that it be re-named VH1 Former Disney Darlings! That's right, the officially announced tribute to both Whitney and Donna Summer will include performances from Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, and Jordin Sparks! ...again with the HUH? While we understand the latter's inclusion, given her involvement in Sparkle, and enjoy ALL the ladies as artists, we just find ourselves a little disappointed that producers couldn't land anyone with a little more, ahem, 'clout!' In fact, we'd argue that the person who warrants the "Diva" title the most of all is the appointed host for the evening, Adam Lambert! He says in a statement:

Last night, we got previously eliminated Diamond White back, a new name for One contestant makeover that was Simon's biggest concern? One of Demi Lovato's Young Adults, Jennel Garcia! Check out Jennel's rendition of I Love Rock 'N' Roll (above)!! SeXXXy... but we miss her spunkiness that we saw from her audition! Simon seemed to have the same problem with DemDem's other finalist, CeCe Frey, whose makeover turned her into a Miley Cyrus-Ke$ha mash-up! While L.A. viewed the performance as a Joan Jett parody, it really just made us want to watch Crossroads! LOLz! |

Has Christina Aguilera come back with a vengeance or WHAT?! We already knew we were in for a treat when we got our hands on Blank Page and Red Hot Kinda Love, but now, with the pop sensation's new album Lotus only a day away from release, she's taken it upon herself to debut even MORE of its tune-age, and hosted an intimate album listening party, at which she previewed four new INCREDIBLE tracks! And yes, included amongst them are the collaborations with her Voice co-judges! Ch-ch-check out Just a Fool, her duet with Blake Shelton, and her comments on how the song came to fruition (above)! Just AH-Mazing! Seriously, we never anticipated she'd even dip her toes into country, but her voice really lends itself well to the genre, wouldn't you say?! We cannot give her credit enough for really challenging herself artistically and taking some risks here! It MORE than pays off! And proves just how far she's come since even Bionic! Bravo, GURL! We cannot WAIT for this album in full! Of course, that's FAR from all! | Carly Rae Jepsen SUED For Stealing Call Me Maybe From Ukrainian Singer Posted: 08 Nov 2012 12:50 PM PST Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe was the biggest hit of the summer, but did she steal it from a Ukrainian singer named Aza? According to our ears, no. However, this busty blonde must be hearing something different because she says the hit single is a complete rip off of her song, Hunky Santa (above). She's filing a lawsuit against Jepsen and manager Scooter Braun today. It seems that Aza's not concerned with them lifting the tune, so much as stealing her lyrics and explained:
After listening to the song, the only similar lyrics we could find was "call me and here is my number." The rest go a little something like this:

Gabrielle Giffords's shooter, Jared Loughner, has been sentenced to a heavy six-life sentence for last year's shooting. PLUS 140 YEARS ON TOP OF THAT! Giffords and her husband were there to witness the sentencing, with hubby Mark Kelly stating:
After being treated for schizophrenia, 24-yr-old Jared admitted guilt after killing six and injuring thirteen on January 8, 2011. His sentencing is the justice for 19 counts, including attempted assassination. We're EXTREMELY happy to see justice served. We can only hope this tragedy lives on only as an excellent example of what NOT to do. |
| Lindsay Lohan's Assistant Calls Bullsh*t On Cops! Claims He Never Sold Out Star! Posted: 08 Nov 2012 12:22 PM PST Suuuure, Mr. Gavin Doyle! The cops are just lying about what you said! We totes believe you... On opposite day! Lindsay Lohan may face actual jail time for supposedly lying to the police about WHO was driving the rental Porsche that smashed into an 18-wheeler on the PCH last June, and it seems her assistant is adamant about the fact that he did NOT sell out the star to authorities!! Gavin is claiming that he never said Lindz was driving the vehicle, and that when cops told him they knew Lindsay was behind the wheel because of the seatbelt bruise on her body, his only response was: "ok." It seems Gavin thinks the police warped his answer in order to file charges against the notorious redhead... you know, cause cops have personal vendettas against famous people and all. Orrr perhaps he just doesn't want to get fired for landing Lindsay Lohan in jail. Sounds like both Lilo and Gavin have been smoking the same paranoia-causing substance!! | Jennifer Hudson And Seal To Headline Nobel Peace Prize Concert Posted: 08 Nov 2012 12:09 PM PST The Nobel committee has not revealed who any of the 231 nominees are for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize, but at least we know who is performing at the annual concert on December 11! Jennifer Hudson and Seal have been picked to headline the event in Norway, while Norwegian rap group Karpe Diem, singer Susanne Sundfør and Iranian-born Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh will also take the stage at the 19th Annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Last year, Sugarland, David Gray and Jill Scott headlined, along with performances from Janelle Monáe, Bernhoft and the World Youth Choir. Robert Pattinson has admitted to enduring a two-year depression. When Twilight co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were breaking away to work on other films, Rob felt so alone creatively. He confesses to Première magazine:
But of course, right after the Cannes premiere of Cosmopolis, girlfriend KStew was caught cheating with her married Snow White director. And as we all know, Rob seemed to plummet right back into that black hole of sadness. Whomp whomp! They're back together now though -- as coy as KStew might be when asked about it. And a matched-up Rob is a happy Rob! So now he's looking forward to his final Twilight Saga hurrah! Even though it's all about to be over, Robberz is proud of the work accomplished, saying:

| Dr. Phil’s Marriage Has Hit A Rough Patch Posted: 08 Nov 2012 11:52 AM PST It looks like there's trouble on Dr. Phil island! The TV host has been having some marital probz with his wife, Robin McGraw and even a $30 million mansion can't fix it! Reportedly, the majority of their fights are over her part on his show. However, a friend said the problem is him! This source went on to say he's not a very nice guy behind-the-scenes, stating:
