Despite some lukewarm reviews from critics, Immortals has reportedly debuted to an impressive $32 million from 3,112 domestic locations, and is estimated to make another $25 million through today, which will mean its well on its way to recouping the $75 million invested in the project - and then some! Meanwhile, the absolutely panned Jack & Jill debuted to its estimated $26 million, which means it somehow beat Puss in Boots, which dropped this week down 23% to earn a $25.5 million this weekend! Good lord. Who actually went to go see that mess?! Here's hoping the kitteh can reclaim its spot ahead of it by tomorrow! They're pretty neck in neck! |

The actor has just signed up for the film Lunatics, which is an adaptation of the forthcoming novel written by Dave Barry and Alan Zweibel, and focuses on two New Jersey dads whose feuding at their kids' soccer games ultimately leads to some serious chaos! The original authors will be penning the screenplay, and Carell will apparently play one of the leads, a pet store owner who referees the games on Sundays! Oh man! Anyone who watches Storage Wars, the A&E reality series that focuses on professional buyers of abandoned storage units who purchase the contents based only on a five-minute inspection and what they can see only from the door when it is opened in order to turn a profit on the merchandise, knows that the auction hunters generally come up with a lot of useless garbage, but according to reports, one of them just struck gold - LITERALLY! Dan and Laura Dotson have reportedly auctioned off a foreclosed unit to some amazingly lucky buyer for just over a grand that hid inside an ACTUAL, 200 year-old real-life PIRATES' CHEST, filled with $500,000 worth of gold doubloons that, according to a treasure expert, dates back to anywhere between the 16th and 19th century! The box was apparently so heavy that it took three people to move it out of storage! Absolutely incredible! Those two must be KICKING themselves - HARD! Can U imagine?! Ha! We wonder how many will jump on the auction hunting train after this?! |

Lo when he was one of her very own back-up dancers during a San Francisco concert! A source also reveals that although she "liked the thrill and the fact that Bradley has been pursuing her, [she] has really been trying to concentrate on her kids and work. | Michael Jackson's Former Manager Describes His Longtime Propofol Abuse In New Book. Posted: 13 Nov 2011 09:40 AM PST This is just heartbreaking. As the Conrad Murray trial resolved itself this week, Michael Jackson's former manager, Frank Cascio, revealed in a new book about his time with the pop legend that Propofol, the drug that eventually took his life, was introduced to him as early as 1999. According to an advanced copy of the manuscript, Jackson started taking Demerol in 1984, when he burned his head during a Pepsi commercial shoot. It became more of a regular habit during the 1993 Dangerous tour. However, it was in 1999, after a stage accident in Munich, when he was introduced to Propofol, and when Cascio approached his siblings about his slowly-growing addiction to the drug in 2001, they tried to intervene, but he "simply pushed them away." Cascio sadly concludes that Michael "died in his endless quest to attain some inner peace." We hope that wherever he is now, he has found the peace that seemed to evade him during his time on Earth. If you recall, in 2009, the actress pressed charges against Johnny Viera, who helped launch her career back in 2005, for using her image to promote his business, even though their professional relationship had ended in 2006, and she was supposed to receive $29,500 in damages, plus $9,314.62 in legal fees! However, according to documents filed Wednesday, she STILL hasn't seen a dime, and wants the judgment enforced so he will pay up! Yuck! This guy sounds super shady!
