Divorce STILL On For Kim And Kris! Posted: 09 Nov 2011 01:40 PM PST Well, so much for Kim's Fairytale Reconciliation! Although the reality starlet apparently fled El Lay recently to try and win back the public's good graces the heart of her soon-to-be-ex, Kris Humphries, in his home state of Minnesota, according to sources close to the pair, the divorce is still DEFINITELY on! Kris Jenner the insider claims that although Kim is "conflicted," she knows that the marriage won't work, and went to Minnesota for some face-to-face closure! Well, there you go! Brett Ratner Expected To Team Up With GLAAD For Public Forums On LGBT Images Posted: 09 Nov 2011 01:20 PM PST Definitely a step back in the right direction for Brett. To recap, earlier this week director Brett Ratner made a hateful, insensitive remark, and then soon thereafter his words were caught on tape. THEN, Academy president Tom Sherak announced that he would NOT be firing Brett from the Oscars...but the director made the right move and resigned from the show anyway. In his lengthy letter of apology, Brett mentioned that he was looking forward to working with GLAAD to "increase awareness of the important and troubling issues this episode has raised," and now it appears that GLAAD is taking him up on his offer. GLAAD has announced that they'll be mobilizing "a series of public discussions on LGBT images in Hollywood," and they expect Mr. Ratner to get involved. Here's what GLAAD's Senior Director of Programs and Communications Herndon Graddick had to say about it: "When we sat down with Brett today, he seemed very sincere in his desire to use this experience as a way to begin speaking out against anti-gay language in popular culture. We believe his resignation is just the first step and will be announcing a series of concrete actions with Brett in coming days and weeks." More from GLAAD Acting President Mike Thompson: "Hollywood has the power and responsibility to grow acceptance of all communities. We look forward to working with Brett and the industry in promoting positive, culture-changing images of our community and sending a message that such slurs, used to belittle gay and lesbian youth and adults every day, have no place in mainstream popular culture or the industry that creates it." We're just glad to see that some good is coming out of this mess! As much as DO NOT approve of the deplorable words that came out of Brett Ratner's mouth, at least he seems to be taking the right steps to make amends. What do U think? This morning, Russell Simmons appeared on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live and talked briefly about the loss of one of his own, rapper Heavy D. Calling Heavy a "special artist," Russell thought back to when he first listened to Mr. Big Stuff and how he knew then that Heavy was going to be a "author of a whole new kind of music." Check out the video (above) to hear more Russell about the loss of his dear friend. The whole community is feeling this one. He truly was inspiring.

While we've already seen promotional photos from Tarsem Singh's project, Mirror Mirror, which stars Julia Roberts, the first artwork from Rupert Sanders interpretation of the classic fairy-tale, Snow White and the Huntsman, which stars Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, and Chris Hemsworth, has just been released! Ch-ch-check it out (above)! Yeah! Surprisingly cool, right? It's going to be very inneresting to see how these two movies do against each other!

Sad! Family Circus Cartoonist Bil Keane Passes Away At 89 Posted: 09 Nov 2011 12:40 PM PST The world has lost an incredibly artistic, creative man. We're sad to announce that Family Circus cartoonist Bil Keane passed away yesterday at 89 years old due to congestive heart failure. His memory will live on through his comic strip, which is featured in almost 1,500 newspapers across the United States! Here's what Bil said was the goal of his work: "I would rather have the readers react with a warm smile, a tug at the heart or a lump in the throat as they recall doing the same things in their own families." Such sweet words! Our thoughts go out to Bil's five children, as well as his many, many fans.

Eddie Murphy Quits The Oscars Too! Posted: 09 Nov 2011 12:24 PM PST Wow! The Oscars is gonna have to undergo a major facelift now! After Brett Ratner was forced to resign for his rude comments, Eddie Murphy has stepped down from the hosting spot! Though he doesn't directly say it's due to the loss of Brett by his side (Ratner recently directed Murphy's Tower Heist), that's what everyone's thinking, including the Academy's President Tom Sherak who says: I appreciate how Eddie feels about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and we all wish him well. As for Eddie, here's what his statement says: First and foremost I want to say that I completely understand and support each party's decision with regard to a change of producers for this year's Academy Awards ceremony. I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I'm sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job. Kate Major's Restraining Order Against Michael Lohan Made Permanent! Posted: 09 Nov 2011 12:20 PM PST We hope he will actually LISTEN this time around! Michael Lohan was back in a Florida courthouse yesterday, in regards to his latest arrests, stemming from a physical altercation with ex-girlfriend Kate Major and then once again after violating a protective order against her by trying to call her, and luckily, this time around, he had no objections to the judge extending the ban on him having any contact with her! According to his attorney, Michael Perry: "He was in court today regarding maintaining the restraining order by stipulation without the judge entering any finding or fact. We just agreed to the injunction, he does not want to see Miss Major any more and wants to put this behind him. There is an arraignment tomorrow in Tampa for the four charges against him but he will not be appearing in court because he has filed a plea of not guilty." And Dennis Menendez, press officer for the 12th Judicial circuit court in Florida, elaborates: "The appearance was basically to make the TRO a permanent restraining order. In addition to making that, one of the things that came out in court was that due to previous charges in a prior case (NOT the current Tampa case) where Lohan pled to a violence charge, he has to be mandated to attend a batterer's class. This had nothing to do with the charges brought against him in Tampa. The original TRO was filed in Sarasota on June 6. It has been continued on two or three occasions and today it was made a permanent restraining order. Both parties agreed to it. He'll be sent back to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office tonight or tomorrow morning." Well, seeing as he's already facing four years in prison if he's convicted on his latest batch of charges, it would be pretty STOOPID of him to violate this now-permanent restraining order! We had the pleasure of hosting the Bad Girls Club reunion, and -- as crazy as it was -- it turned out to be the number one rated cable entertainment show in the 9pm slot for our target demo (W 18-34)! Whoo! That's an impressive 17% over last week's episode! What can we say?? We give good TV! And so do those feisty ladies!!

Michael Jackson's Deathbed For Sale! Creepy!!! Posted: 09 Nov 2011 11:40 AM PST The contents of Michael Jackson's home are up for auction -- including the bed he died in. Julien's Auctions President, Darren Julien, says: We want to preserve the history of these items. ...because the best way to preserve something is to sell it to someone else! Definitely NOT put it in a museum! That's crazy. That's ignorant! Other items being auctioned off include various antique furnishings, paintings, sculptures, and get this -- a chalkboard with a note one of the kids left on it that reads, "We heart Daddy!
