Last year, Eva Longoria found out her NBA VIP husband, Tony Parker, was cheating on her. Instead of having a dramatic meltdown (like we would have!) the brave actress made a conscious decision to stay strong. Eva has not let the French Baller's cheating ways have any affect on her self worth! The 37-year-old confesses: "I am so secure in who I am. I really am! And I'm not conceited." Good to hear! Grey's Anatomy will also be squeezing out more medical melodrama next fall... it's still making those big $$$, why mess with a money making formula?! Castle, Modern Family, and Suburgatory have also been confirmed for a fall return, but GCB, Happy Endings, Body of Proof, Last Man Standing, Private Practice, Missing, Scandal are all in renewal limbo until furhter notice... Steven Tyler plans on doing more than just judging during the American Idol season finale on May 23. The legendary frontman and the rest of Aerosmith are performing their newest single! It's a little surprising too because Tyler's decision to join the hit reality show caused some serious tension within the rock band. In a Rolling Stone interview from 2010, guitarist Joe Perry said:
Harsh! Obviously he has changed his tune and probably saw the benefit of performing on one of the highest rated television shows on the air. Since their latest album is the band's first since 2001's Just Push Play, we imagine the guys realized the band can reach an entirely new generation of fans. | Britney Spears Has NOT Signed On To Judge X Factor…Yet! Posted: 11 May 2012 11:50 AM PDT Looks like we'll have to be patient for a little bit longer... Earlier this week, we were SO excited to announce that Britney Spears had (supposedly) been locked in to judge the U.S. version of The X Factor! Now, we're bummed to hear that she has NOT officially signed anything yet...although sources close to Brit are saying that she's "very close." We're hearing that the deal is likely to be finalized within the next couple of days, and that an announcement will probably be made by Fox on Monday. We're ALSO hearing that the contract has been pre-approved by the judge handling Brit's conservatorship, which is obviously fantastic! Fingers, legs, arms, and everything else crossed that it all goes smoothly! We can't wait to hear that official announcement!!!!!! What do U think? The superstar has already earned $240 million from her MDNA World Tour ticket sales and it's predicted that she'll bring in another $40 mil for the South American dates! ...not to mention a couple stops will soon be announced for Australia, too, which we're sure will earn her even MORE millions! As for Madge's tour merch? Insiders are saying she'll see sales close to $75 million, seeing as fans have always bought tons in the past and who goes to a Madonna concert and DOESN'T cash in on some swag?! The Girl Gone Wild is also expected to make a whopping $60 mil off her perfume, Truth Or Dare, which she recently launched for Macy's, along with her Material Girl clothing line for the retailer, poised to bring in $5 million! The bad news is everyone speculated correctly when fans figured Community's Season 4 would be stunted like 30 Rock's. The good news is that there seems to be reason to believe this won't be the last season for Joel McHale and the gang. So, basically... WOO HOO!!!! | Whitney Houston's Family Signs On The Dotted Line, Reality Show Picked Up Posted: 11 May 2012 10:52 AM PDT It's Not Right, But It's Okay...?!? This doesn't sound like such a good idea... Reportedly, the Lifetime network has officially greenlit a reality show following the family the late Whitney Houston has left behind. The working title for the 10-episode docu-series is The Houston Family Chronicles and will follow Pat, Whitney's sister-in-law and longtime manager, Pat's teenage daughter, Whitney's brother Gary...and but of course, Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina and her mother, Cissy. We aren't therapists or anything, but we really REALLY don't think that filming a reality show is the best way to cope with the death of a loved one...just sayin'. Though previously rumored that Bobbi Kris would have a show of her own, one of the series' major plot lines WILL be the family coming together to take care of her, as she goes through life without her mom. Lifetime's Executive VP of Programming, Rob Sharenow says:
Supposedly, Pat Houston has been working with producers "over the past few years," to develop a show about the Houston family. Pat states:
The series will have a total of ten episodes and will premiere in late 2012. We apologize but...are you kidding us??? We don't really think this is a good way to honor Whitney's memory!! Though we are CERTAIN it'll bring in the viewers that the network is looking for.
