But still, falling second only to the $91 million Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is IMPRESSIVE!! By knocking Twilight's New Moon off its $73 million seat, The Avengers now sits high in the #2 spot for best opening day at the box office! ...with $80.5 million! Woo Hoo!! The weekend total is now estimated to be $150 million through Sunday, securing the blockbuster's spot in the kingdom of baddest opening weekends ever! That doesn't surprise us, of course. We knew it was blowing up when we found out it even beat The Dark Knight's midnight numbers!! But don't think it's all about the money, honey!! Oooh NO! Moviegoers everywhere are RAVING about the film!! And they totally should be!! With all that action and hot men!?! DUH!!! |

We've read some theories that this particular new gurl is actually Eric's sister, but... we don't remember anything about that in his flashbacks! Friday night, Coldplay gave a riveting performance of the Beastie Boys' Fight for your Right at the Hollywood Bowl. And needless to say, the entire audience was moved beyond belief!! It's been a really sad weekend for music. Our heart was breaking when we told you the news of Adam MCA Yauch's death. Forty-seven is just way too young.
