| FOOLISH ACTIVITIES: Reality Stars Derek J and Neffe CAUGHT UP In Hair Salon GUNFIRE Fight Posted: 16 Mar 2012 10:20 AM PDT  Reality tv stars Derek J and Neffe (Keyshia Cole's sister) were dodging bullets recently when an angry stylist decided to bust a cap after Neffe complained about her hair! Deets inside.... Down in the ATL, Keyshia Cole's sister Neffe found out the hard way that you can't complain about a bad weave....some stylists are extra sensitive! According to the police report, after getting a "hairdo" that she felt was a "hair-don't" at one salon, Neffe went across town to Derek J's salon so someone could fix her situation. But when the first stylist got wind that Neffe came back complaining about the "style," he showed up with a gun! Derek J said, "Her (hair was) messed up to the point we didn't know what to do. So I was just like, reach out to the stylist and say 'Hey, what did you use, what did you do?" and it turned from a professional conversation to more of an argument, but we thought it was done." But it wasn't.......... "A few hours later a gentleman shows up, the other stylist, wanting to talk and started an argument. I asked him to leave," owner Lisa McCall said. "Before turning away, he waved the gun in my face and said, 'You don't think I will?' And I backed up," McCall said. And then....the stylist pulled the trigger and a bullet went into a floor board! "We knew it wasn't a good thing when he came, but we thought it was going to be a quick exchange with words and then he was going to be gone. So, nobody really knew he would pull out a gun," Derek said. The gun-packing stylist is still on the loose but no one was injured.....thankfully!
But Derek J added that he's pissed his floor got messed up! And he tweeted, I want to say thank you to everyone that sent their concerns about the incident This ghetto ish right here..... Watch the story here:

Tyra Banks looked every bit the modelicious chick for the Endometriosis Fundations of America's 4th Annual Blossom Ball last night. The Black Tie event went down at the New York Library and was hosted by Chelsea Handler, Padma Lakshmi, Susan Sarandon and more.
This strapless black & grey chiffon overlayed gown looks gorgeous on Tyra. And across the country in L.A.:

Lil Wayne rocked the stage in Austin last night for his own South By Southwest concert. And crowds flooded Austin Music Hall to catch the shirtless Young Money head honcho run through his tracks, and make his first live annoucnement about his Mountain Dew deal.
Pics and video inside... Usually catering to independent/underground rock bands, this year's SXSW saw more hip hop than ever. The Game, Nas, 50 Cent, Snoop, T.I., Wale and more all played to crowds in different locations in the same vicinity all last night. And Weezy topped off the night playing his hits, officially kicked off a partnership with Mountain Dew and introduced his new clothing line.

Weezy told the crowd (which is also something he will say in his upcoming ad campaign for Mountain Dew): "If you get anything from me, it's to find your name and do you because, ladies and gentlemen, that's what I do," he told the crowd in what he said was a commercial for the new soft drink partnership. Knowing what Weezy's grill looks like gives a whole new meaning to Mountain Dew mouth..... Congrats to the homie though. In movie theaters on August 17, fans are eagerly waiting for Jordin, Tika and Carmen to grace us with their beauty and wonderful singing voices in the remake of the 70s classic. There has been talk that the studio wants to push up the release dae because they are concerned about bootleggers due to the increased anticipation after Whitney Houston's death.

Lifestyle guru Kenny Burns, actor Kevin Hart and rapper Fabolus caused a torrential downpour at Club Diamonds the other night. All to the tune of $28,000.
Fab just rained 30 stacks months ago at the strip club in Queens, NY months ago. It's adding up to be an expensive booty-ful hobby.
Kevin reportedly spent $7K on a few dancers too.
The fellas dropped off stacks of cash.
Kevin Hart was clearly excited by what he saw.

Oh Willow Smith. How nice it must be to be 11-years-old and not have to calculate mathematics at school during the weekday daytime hours. But instead get to go shopping in Soho.

Willow Smith was spotted literally running in heels yesterday as paparazzi tried to grab shots of her weaving in and out of the stores in Soho. She braved the windy NYC day in a black coat, bear faced tee, jeans, and interesting black/white/yellow Y-3 booties.
She put on a happy face as she hit the stores with her nanny:
And Willow is set to appear in a movie adaptation of the comic book series Amulet with her brother Jaden. Wonder if she's going to switch up her hair color tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day. We all know she likes to be different....

President Obama's campaign office has released a 17-minute documentary that highlights the landmark moments of his first term in office. Watch it inside....
President Barack Obama has had many shining moments during his first term in office (even though you wouldn't know it if you only listened to the Republican side of things), and now his campaign team has released a documentary highlighting his accomplishments. During the 17-minute clip, former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel talks about the President on health care reform, Vice President Joe Biden shares comments about the killing of Osama bin Laden, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau creator Elizabeth Warren discusses the auto bailout. And in one highlight, the President talks about the bin Laden raid saying, "I didn't have time for a lot of feelings at that point because our guys were still in that compound. And it wasn't until I knew they were across the border, safe, everybody was accounted for, including the dog, that I allowed for some satisfaction." Watch the documentary in full below:

Brandy, Swizz Beatz & singer Mike Posner were all on hand yesterday to celebrate Rick Ross' new campaign. The "Reebok Back" rapper just inked a deal with the Reebok company itself.
Pics and deets inside... Reebok launched its Classics Icons campaign with Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz and Mike Posner at the NY Knicks game at Madison Square Garden yesterday. And special guest Brandy stopped by to say hello in support of the company's “It Takes a Lot to Make a Classic” initiative.
The fellas kicked it courtside as they rocked the Reebok brand from head to toe. Ricky will be joining Swizzy, who has already designed several shoes and merchandise for the brand, and Mike, who has already shot a few ads, in the campaign.
And they also spoke to media about the new campaign at a press conference. This will be a good look for Ricky Rozay... Due to tour schedules, rapper Tyga was unable to attend, however, he is part of the new Classics Icons campaign as well. Nickelodeon's upcoming shows will feature lots of YBF folks like Nick Cannon, KeKe Palmer, Cymphonique Miller and Rachel Crow in the mix. Find out about their new projects inside... Your own YBF Kids will see many representations of themselves on Nickelodeon next season as the fab folks were well-represented (by tv standards) at their recent upfronts at Rose Theater inside Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC.
Gorge actress KeKe Palmer was there to announce a new project.
Teen queen KeKe Palmer announced a project called Rags that will be produced by chairman Nick Cannon.
The pair (who posed with Max Schneider) say the film will be a musical rags-to-riches story. "We are making Cinderella fly and fresh," Nick said. "It's a reverse Cinderella story with some hip-hop flare." Loves it already.
And Master P's daughter (and actor/rapper Romeo's sister of course) Cymphonique Miller was there too.
She starring on her own Nick show "How To Rock." Master P knows how to get his kids a show doesn't he? She later posed with her "How To Rock" co-stars.
Former "X Factor" star Rachel Crow was also there to have some fun with her big news.
Rachel, who posed with Big Time Rush, has recently signed with the channel and a new project is being developed specifically for the animated youngin. She'll also be making a guest appearance on the series "Fred: The Show." Can't wait!

Amid much criticism, Rihanna recently opened up in an interview this morning with Ryan Seacrest about why she reached out to Chris Brown to record her remix to "Birthday Cake." Find out the praises she unleashed inside, and get the deets on her upcoming reality show and clothing line.
During a chat with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM L.A. radio show, pop star Rihanna revealed how her collaborations with Chris Brown on their “Birthday Cake” and “Turn Up the Music” remixes came about. “The first song that came about was ‘Birthday Cake.' I mean we ended up recording both at the same time and executing them together, but I reached out to him about doing ‘Birthday Cake’ because that’s the only person that really—it made sense to do the record. We did remixes for both of our fans. We want our fans to come together, there shouldn't be a divide. The music is innocent.” She continued, “You know I thought about rappers, and I’ve done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown. So I wanted him on the track, and then in turn he was like, ‘Why don’t you do the remix to my track?’ and it was a trade off.” She added, “We did two records. One for my fans. One for his fans, and that way our fans can come together. There shouldn’t be a divide. You know? It’s music, and it’s innocent.” And if you've been wondering why she seems to be losing more weight everytime we see her, she commented that it's not on purpose. About her Five Factor Diet:
So what's next for the "We Found Love" party girl? She's actually about her business these days..in between club hopping. While she just shot a video for “Where Have You Been,” she's already thinking about her next album saying, “Sonically—I can’t explain it. But I’m excited about it. I have the sound already. So it’s just a matter of execution!” And across the pond, she's executive producing a fashion competition show in addition to working on her own fashion line. “I’m really pursuing a fashion line of my own. I want to design. This is also a road that I want to earn it. So I’m working with designers. Designers that I respect, and [fashion] companies that I respect. I want people to really trust me before I just say ‘Buy it, because it’s mine.’ And about her hair....she may be returning to her dark tresses. “I really want to go black...and I was kind of in a natural color so it was easier to go blonde first, because black is such a harsh color to come back from. So I wanted to try it out to see if I liked it, and now I really am a little attached to it. I keep going lighter and lighter. So I’ll just have some fun with it, and when I get bored I’ll just…black is an easy change from here.” Lastly, she talked about her new sci-fi action flick Battleship, which hits the theaters on May 18. “You can only imagine how nervous I was going in to such a big-budgeted film really as an amateur. The haute June Ambrose stepped out in NYC last night for her premiere of her upcoming VH1 show "Styled By June." And with friends...who happen to also be her clients...like Jay-Z stopping through, it was a fab occasion indeed.
TheYBF.com caught up with the styling guru last night to find out about her most difficult clients, and if any members of The Carter Family will be making an appearance on the show...
June looked fantastically feminine at her NYC premiere at the Crosby St. Hotel last night in a Spring 2012 Cynthia Rowley colorful floral detailed Cynthia Rowley cocktail dress, bronze Brian Atwood pumps, Henri Bendel silver python clutch (she dished to us she loves mixing her metallics) and a silver Hermes cuff. She's the CEO of her own company, Mode Squad, Inc. And was the style architect for the US version of "X-Factor." So, of course, we had to sit down and get the goods on who will (and won't) be making an appearance on the make-over focused series, who are the most difficult clients, and if she co-signs on youngins like Willow Smith having so much style freedom. On whether The Carters will be making an appearance on the show (since she was spotted with cameras in tow styling Jay for his Carnegie Hall concerts) "No! [Laughs] Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Mary J, all of those clients, they don't need this show. They are GOOD! Jay doesn't need this process. In this show, the process is about the emancipation, the rebranding...he's good. The story line you see in this show is a lot more raw, it's so honest, and it's people you love and you want to see win at the end of the day. At the end of each episode you have a better understanding of what the celebs have to go through to become the Jay-Zs and to be the Alicias." On who were her most difficult clients "Everyone had difficult moments. I had to deal with each one differently. Some were more difficult than others. Brat was difficult. Um, Shanna Moakler was. But every situation was a difficult process. But that's what goes into it. I mean, if it's not difficult then the work isn't really being done." On staying fabulous at all times, despite juggling 2 kids, husband and hectic career "I call it the wake before the quake. I don't let my kids tap on my forehead like an earthquake is happening. Don't wake me I'll wake myself, so that I'll feel nice. By the time I'm dealing with you, 2 hours later, I am HAUTE. [LAUGHS] That's how you balance it. You take time to work on yourself both mentally and emotionally. I think you're a better parent and better partner that way. I love cooking. It's therapeutic for me and I love taking care of my family that way." On styling her own family "Styling my husband [Marc] is the worst. He's very naturally fashionable. My kids--the worst. I hate styling them too. [My son] Chance doesn't want to be styled. And [my daughter] Summer is so headstrong and has such a great eye for pieces. I put things in their reach that I want them to have on. That's the psychology. Like with my celebrity clients--I take things out of their closet that'll wreck what we've been working on." On if she would give her own 11-year-old daughter (her daughter Summer isn't quite that age yet) as much style freedom as Willow Smith "Parenting is not easy. [Will & Jada] do things their way. And I think they're amazing parents. I'm not going to tell anyone else how to raise their kids. Nor am I going to have an opinion about it. Creative freedom is so important. We're from an artistic place. I think there are boundaries. But whatever they're doing seems like it's working because [Willow] seems like a very well-rounded child." "Would I let MY child shave off half of her head? No. We're just coming from two different places. I don't judge."

The next time you see comedienne Mo'Nique, expect to see a lot less of her. Since her BET talkshow was put on indefinite hiatus, the actress has been on a serious workout plan, which she shares with fans via Twitter. See her new bod & workout pics inside... Oscar winner Mo'Nique, who is a mom to twin 6-year-old boys Jonathan & David whom we still haven't seen, as well as an older son amed Shalon, is on a weight loss journey which her fans can follow on her Twitter feed.
She often tweets inspirational words with her twitpics like, "Prove to YOU how much YOU love YOU." And, "Do what you need to do to do what you want to do." Though she's already dropped 45lbs, back when her show was on the air she told the audience "I want to get to 180. That's an amazing weight for me. I'm still a thick girl but it's a healthy weight."
