Tamar Braxton appeared on GMA this morning where she was photographed backstage with her glam squad, Terrell Mullin and Diandre Tristan.
After she got glammed up, her husband Vincent Herbert, escorted her to the stage where she enchanted the audience with a performance of the LaShawn Daniels-penned track "Love and War."

Alicia Keys stopped by "Late Night With David Letterman" where she performed her new single "Brand New Me." During their chat, she talked about raising her son Egypt and how his name was inspired by a trip to the country. She said that seeing the temples and tombs reminded her about the possiblities of humanity and that she could create anything. She also talked about the holiday season saying, "I'm trying to figure out the whole Santa thing actually, like how do parents do that? Because I was considering leaving it alone." The "Girl On FIre" singer also said she's going to take Egypt on tour with her in March and when asked if she'd ever let him get tattoos like his dad Swizz Beatz, she said, "...that's going to be a tough convo to have." President Obama closes out 2012 on the cover of TIME Magazine as their "Person of the Year." See the cover inside and find out why The HOLLYWOOD REPORTER calls Oprah Winfrey a "Rule Breaker." On the cover of TIME Magazine, President Obama posed for his first official portrait since his re-election. The picture was captured by legendary photographer Nadav Kander, who is known for his "painterly touch." The famed photographer spoke about the portrait saying, “When photographing such a high profile individual, it’s a huge challenge to not let their high profile take over the process. I wanted to make a meaningful photograph that reflected pause in a person’s life and reflect his humanity.” And TIME's managing editor Rick Stengel spoke about choosing the POTUS as "Person Of The Year" saying, “We are in the midst of historic cultural and demographic changes, and Obama is both the symbol and in some ways the architect of this new America.”

Oprah Winfrey covers The Hollywood Reporter's "Rule Breaker" issue where the magazine covers the dramatic turnabout that OWN has done in terms of ratings. Oprah commented on her change of fortune herself saying, “I’m not doing the hula yet …but compared to a year ago, it feels like a sigh of relief." She explains her initial lack of success with OWN saying, “Part of my own expectation was, ‘You’ve had 25 years of success; people will leverage that. But we didn’t account for people not having the channel, and not knowing how to find it, and the cable audience being different from broadcast.” Congrats to Oprah! We're happy people are finally tuning into OWN.

Rihanna shined like a diamond last night during her performance on the season finale of "The Voice." Last night, Rihanna performed her global hit "Diamonds" on the season finale of "The Voice." While rocking a shiny Lanvin Spring 2013 jumpsuit, she kept the eager audience glued to her every world as she breezed through the hit. And Christmas came early for the bad girl as Roc Nation bought her a brand new customized Porsche with "Roc Nation" on the hood.

Amber Rose was seen arriving to a pre-baby class yesterday in Beverly Hills.
She was escorted by her adoring fiance Wiz Khalifa.
The couple, who are expecting the baby's arrival any day now, were later seen leaving the class and holding hands.
Wiz said he and Amber plan to marry before the baby arrives and will throw a big wedding celebration after the baby comes.
And Amber's definitely excited about the arrival and about going back to her signature look. She tweeted, "Can't wait to get back to my Blonde ceaser after my Lil monkey boy is born I miss it :-("

After such a big response to her first spoof, comedienne Torrei Hart, wife of comedian Kevin Hart, and her gang of friends are back for a second "BBW LA" spoof. In this installment, Malaysia (and her teeth) and Jackie Christie attempt their own spinoff with Torrei as their manager. However, their "meeting' is cut short when Bambi busts up on the scene and goes all "Compton" on Torrei. Kevin and Torrei's real life daughter, Heaven, comes to the rescue and lays hands on Bambi. Meanwhile, Brooke Bailey hires "LAHH ATL" star Momma Dee as her manager and is quickly put to "work" and given a motel room key and told she'll be getting "cash." Then Laura Govan strikes out on her own and produces a line of "PumKash" backpacks....before she realizes Momma Dee has a similar product line. Of course, there's some charity involved because once chicks knock each other's heads into the ground they always need to find Jesus by giving back. What the ladies try to build is an epic fail. Cynthia Bailey didn't just spend her recent vacay on the island of Anguilla drinking, watching Kenya & Porsha fight and getting her vows renewed. She also took some time to work with a modeling team on the island and giving them a few of her veteran pointers.
We've got exclusive behind the scenes pics and deets inside....
As the trio of Anguilla episodes of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," we've got a few pics and details Bravo may or may not show you from the ladies' trip. Since it doesn't include the drama and fights. Model Cynthia Bailey brought the skills she teaches at her Bailey Agency School of Fashion along with her on the trip. And she spent some time--in between rum punches and some QT with her hubby Peter--sharing her industry wisdom with a promising group of young girls from the Panache Modeling Team.
Cynthia gave them stories from her experiences as a super-model and spoke to the girls about the important role of self-esteem and confidence. And snapped a few pics with the ladies. Sweet!
And as for that beautiful wedding-redo surprise, we've got a few exclusive personal pics from the super sweet and romantic ceremony at Anguilla's Sandy Island that Peter surprised her with. After their fiasco of a wedding last year, he more than made it up to her. With real flowers this time from Black Orchid Florist.
Cynthia looked gorge and snapped a pic with the owner of Sandy Island, Ms. Simone Connor. Gotta love a successful black woman who owns the family-owned property that's catered to tons of celebs for decades--Michael Jordan, Demi Moore, Cindy Crawford, Bill Gates, Mariah Carey, Bob Johnson, Sofia Vergara and Denzel Washington have all stopped at Sandy Island for vacay and celebrations. And we've got a few more behind the scenes pics of Cynthia kickin' it with the island's Parliamentary Secretary Hon. Haydn Hughes (who Kenya was heavily flirting with on the show) and brand strategist Marvet Britto, who represents the entire island of Anguilla:

"Girl On Fire" Alicia Keys appeared on "The View" today where she displayed a new hairstyle and performed her latest single. Watch the performance inside.... Alicia Keys appeared on "The View" this morning, pictured in top image right before heading out, rocking a stylish new hairdo. Before she sat down with the co-hosts, she tweeted, "Backstage flow, getting ready to go on! Excited to hang out with the ladies this morning on #TheView!"
During the interview, she respectfully addessed Barbara Walters as "Miss Barbara" and told co-hosts that at this point in her life, she feels very "free" musically and creatively. She says she's now more open to working with other artists and that includes her latest single, "Brand New Me" which was penned by British sensation Emeli Sande. She also said that she sings to her son Egypt a lot and now he's begun to sing back to her. She added that when they sing together, he sometimes stops her so he can sing his parts solo. Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne kicked off the holiday season recently by bestowing numerous gifts on Miami youth. See the pics inside as well as NY Giant Mathias Kiwanuka and Tessa Kiwanuka's shopping event in NYC. ...
Yesterday, Christmas came early for a few Miami youth who received gifts from Chris Bosh's foundation TEAM TOMORROW. Hosted at GAME TIME, they attended were treat to food and games co-sponsored by Burger King.
Chris' wife Adrienne and daughter Trinity were both at the event to support Chris and the foundation.
The star athlete created a pop up shop, where no kid left empty-handed after visting "Santa Bosh's Workshop."
In the midst of all the gift giving, Chris took some time out to play games with the kids.
And on Madison Avenue in NYC...
New York Giant baller Mathias Kiwanuka and his gorgeous new wife Tessa hosted the #GiftHerCalypso shopping event at Calypso St. Barth on Madison Avenue in NYC last night. The fab couple picked out some of their favorite items and helped guests find last minute gifts.
The store is home to some of Tessa's favorite things like Black Agate Bead Bracelets, Shiny Black Bracelets, and Marciella Chainmail Bags. So she picked a few out for her "curated" gift table.
And during the event, Mathias laced his wife with a Jessica Barensfeld gold cuff from the Calypso St. Barth collection. Nice. |

Ice-T and his wife Coco Austin have made their first public appearance together since questionable photos of Coco with another man surfaced online. Last week, actor Ice-T and his wife Coco Austin stepped out together for an art party at the Last Rite's Gallery in New York. It was the first public appearance of the couple since embarrassing photos of Coco posing for pics with rapper AP9 emerged. And Ice-T lost his ish on Twitter going in on his own wife. We told you previously that Coco was under the impression that AP9 was a "friend" of her husband when they posed for the flicks, and now comments by AP9 prove he is CLEARLY not a friend. When asked by TMZ about the rumor that he and Coco were sleeping together, instead of denying the rumor, the rapper said, "'That's a RUMOUR? Is that a rumour? No comment man." Messy. And when asked if he feared upseting Ice-T, he said, 'I'm from the hood ... I'm not worried about nothin'. Fortunately, we all know Coco poses for "outrageous" pics with fans and this dude is clearly trying to get his 15-minutes of fame...at Coco's expense. Folks say Ice-T was very upset by the photos but clearly he and Coco are putting the public embarrassment behind them and moving forward. And we NEVER believe Coco would step out on Ice anyway.

Coco's been in Vegas for several weeks doing shows and she and her lipo'd, pumped up and snatched bod performed in the 'Peepshow' stage show last night at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino:
She spoke about the role of Bo Peep saying, 'I am over my head with excitement. I didn’t know at first if I wanted to change my New York lifestyle to Vegas lifestyle, but I’m, like, what the heck, life is too short. This is actually what I have been building up to my entire life. I have been a dancer my whole childhood, and I’m also a performer, so I think this is the next stage in my life.' And after the show....
Coco celebrated her performance with friends, castmates and her bulldogs during the after party. With kisses again.

Kendrick Lamar is making all kinds of waves in the rap game. And now he's following in the footsteps of his Aftermath labelmate, Eminem, by doing a sing with singer Dido.
Check out "Let Us Move On" inside... British singer Dido Armstrong made whispery female voices paired with rap sings popular back in 1999 when she let Eminem use her song "Thank You" for one of his biggest hits, "Stan". Now, Em's labelmate and somewhat protege, Kendrick Lamar, is trying for the same magic. Dido is back and she's releasing her fourth studio album in March. Shateria Moragne-el, who's been seen on the arm of rapper Rick Ross several times, has launched a clothing line called Frontrow Couture and has the rapper's full support. With an expected showing of her autumn/winter collection on February 12, 2012 in NYC, Shateria (whose last fashion show featured client Tamar Braxton) is putting her focus on making a name for herself nationally for her line described as "clothing is meant for fashion lovers and leaders – the confident, the gracious and the faithful" and for "consumers to be seen on the scene and never settle for anything less than the Front Row." But Shateriaand her diced pineapples still has her sights set on the rapper himself too, recently tweeting,

Rihanna finally has a fabulous pad she can call her own. After a nightmare of a home purchase last year, she picked up a hot mansion in the Palisades. Deets inside, plus Lil Wayne saved his own Miami mansion from getting seized by the IRS... She had to sell her previous pad after having tons of issues with it, and now she's on to bigger and better. According to reports, the "Diamond" gal recently purchased a $12 mill sexy mansion in the Pacific Palisades--a swanky neighborhood of Los Angeles. The 24-year-old, pictured above in a new snap on Instagram, will have 11,000 sqft. to play around with. And a huge rooftop deck and zero-edge swimming pool area with a BBQ kitchen to use when hosting some bad ass parties. She's got 7 bedrooms to christen and nobody will get a peek as the newly constructed home is heavily surrounded by Oak and Sycamore trees. Oh, and we wonder if she'll be cooking up meals for Breezy in her 14ft-ceiling kitchen. Check out the pics HERE.
Speaking of homes, Lil Wayne just saved his Miami mansion from getting seized by the IRS. He's been reported to owe $3.35 million in taxes for 2008 and $2.25 million for 2009, plus other unpaid taxes and late fees dating back in 2002. And the IRS placed liens on his 15,000 Miami home on La Gorce island to recoup their dollars. So now, the "Got Money" rapper has paid off the $7 mill+ he owed. And since he doesn't live there full time, he's been renting out the pad for the last 2 years. According to the Miami Herald, he's paid in full. He's got No Worries. |
