Singer Toni Braxton was hospitalized in LA recently with complications due to Lupus. Read her message to fans inside....
Toni Braxton is back in the hospital due to complications stemming from Lupus and a narrowing of the blood vessels in her heart. But Toni reassured her fans on Twitter that she is doing well and will be home soon.
Toni revealed her battle with Lupus a few years ago and cites it for halting her performing career and forcing her to declare bankruptcy. And we've seen the difficult times she's had because of the disease on her 'Braxton Family Values" reality show. But on a happier note, Toni tweeted congrats to her sister Tamar, who is topping the charts with her latest single, saying, "So proud of my baby sister @TamarBraxtonHer !!! #loveandwar is #2 on iTunes! Make sure you guys go support and purchase the new single! :)" Get well soon Toni! |

Extra Troubled comedian Katt Williams landed in a California jail recently after being stopped for an outstanding warrant. Deets inside...
"Unretired" comedian Katt Williams was jailed last night for an outstanding warrant in Dunnigan, CA (about 40 miles from Sacramento). Katt was stopped by Yolo County Sheriffs deputies at a gas station and booked for a warrant stemming from a Sacramento County reckless driving incident from several days prior. Sources tell TheYBF.com that the arrest forced Katt to cancel his concert in Houston last night, but his concert-going fans didn't know about the cancellation until AFTER they arrived at the venue. For now, Katt's reps have not spoken out about this latest mishap. |

Wiz Khalifa stopped by Hot 107.9 to promote his O.N.I.F.C. disc where he revealed that he and Amber Rose had a miscarriage shortly before her pregnancy. Get the deets inside.... Wiz Khalifa spoke to Hot 107.9 in Philly with Qdeezy yesterday where he talked about the title to his latest disc O.N.I.F.C. (Only Negro In First Class). Wiz also talked about fatherhood and revealed that this is actually his & Amber's second time being pregnant. He said the couple suffered a miscarriage during the second trimester of her first pregnancy, so during the second one, they wanted to take their time with making a public announcement. And now, Wiz (who already calls Amber his "wife") says she is in her final trimester and the pregnancy is going very well. He recently tweeted about the album's success saying it's #1 on iTunes and he's hoping to be #1 on Billboard. Meanwhile, Amber shared a pic (above) of their little WIZbud listening to O.N.I.F.C.

Wearing tuxedo pants and a shiny black, white and sky blue blazer, the "Knock You Down" singer posed it up with her parents Loretta and Parker.
Actresses Dania Ramirez and Tika Sumpter were among the party guests.

Hottie alert! "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star and its newest resident diva, Kenya Moore, hit the beaches of Barbados this week. And the 41-year-old made sure y'all know those "old" jokes co-star Porsha kept cracking don't faze her a bit. Because she showed off her bangin' bikini bod ...including the other side of what Kenya seems to hate the most...booty crack.

Alicia Keys hosted her annual Black Ball last night at the Apollo Theater. And despite it being moved from its original date due to Hurricane Sandy, the A-listers still came out to celebrate and help raise over $1.3 mill for Alicia's Keep A Child Alive charity.

Rocking a velour eggplant gown for her big night, Alicia Keys hosted her big 2012 Black Ball in Harlem last night, which was emceed by Whoopi Goldberg. And looked fab while doing so. The event raised serious cash for her Keep A Child Alive foundation, and she made it a family affair with her mom, Teresa Augello, her hubby, Swizz Beatz, and both of their brothers.
Ms. Teresa must be super proud of her "Girl On Fire" daughter.
Alicia tweeted a pic of her and her hubby saying her "best friend" made the night perfect.
Sweet.
Alicia posed it up with chef Padma Lakshmi and Beninese singer Angelique Kidjo.
Alicia tweeted that it was an honor to be honoring Oprah Winfrey at her even for all the charity work she does. And as 58-year-old O took the stage, she praised Alicia's do-gooder side:
Mrs. keys also hit he stage to perform with Bonnie Rait and Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes.
Alicia's brother Cole and Swizzy's bro Andre Leon King rocked tees from the Keep A Child Alive foundation.
