BACK HOME: QB Robert Griffin III & His Fiancée Becky Head Back To Baylor University Posted: 04 Dec 2012 09:15 AM PST Washington Redskins QB and one of the NFL's biggest stars, Robert Griffin III, made a trip back to his college home of Baylor University with his college sweetheart fiancée Rebecca Liddicoat.  Check out RG3 and Becky chillin' back in Texas inside... Well isn't that...precious.  22-year-old NFL's star rookie RG3 made a trip back to Waco, TX, where he first established his football stardom, to cheer on his former team the Baylor Bears as they took on Texas Tech last Saturday.  He was spotted chillin' with Becky and catching up with some of his former teammates who had just beat the Tech Raiders in overtime to now become Bowl-eligible: No wedding date is set (at least not publicly) for RG3 and Becky, but his team just beat the NY Giants last night. As for the couple's (pictured above at this year's ESPY Awards) proposal story, here's what his mom told the Washington Times: "As they were walking in, [Robert] started singing the song. I had set up candles – battery-operated candles; I didn’t want to burn the building down – right here in the middle. Her mom and her dad and her two sisters and my family – my husband and [RG3’s] two sisters – were all standing in a circle with a candle in our hand. "He walked her to the circle. She couldn’t see. We had it dark in here. When they got close to the BU [midfield logo], we all hit our candles and it came on. She was like, ‘What is this?’ And he got on one knee. "The funny thing about it is he came in the building and he said, ‘Rebecca, wait a minute. I’ve got to use the bathroom.’ And my husband was in the bathroom with the ring. He gave him the ring, and it was a fun time." "It wasn’t initially supposed to be in here," Mrs. Griffin said. "He showed me a tree that they used to go sit under and talk, but it stormed that night. He was like, ‘Mom, you’ve got to come up with a backup plan for me.’ And you know that military kicked in. We always have to have a backup plan. "I happened to be driving past here, and I saw that the facility lights were on. The whole time I was driving around going, ‘God, please give me a plan.’ I came in here and they were showing recruits the facility. "The coach told me, he said, ‘Mrs. Griffin, what’s going on?’ I said, ‘I think I need to use the facility,’ but I couldn’t tell him what it was for. I said, ‘I need to use the facility for a few minutes. Is that OK?’ He said, ‘Well, as long as you finish by the time we get back in here.’ I ran around him like a little chicken with my head cut off, putting everything together." "He was like, ‘Mom, Mom, we’re coming!’ My husband was like, ‘Honey, they’re on their way.’ But it all worked out. We got in here. He sung the song. He got on his knees. We all were crying. She was crying. We wish Becky, Robert & his struggle braids well...

Alicia Keys Is RED HOT For January 2013 ESSENCE Cover Posted: 04 Dec 2012 08:03 AM PST She's got a chart topping album with Girl On Fire...and now the January 2013 cover of ESSENCE magazine.  Check out Alicia Keys' red hot look inside... Looking fresh faced and fiery, Alicia Keys rocked a red peplum strapless to pop on the new cover. In the issue, Alicia revealed, “It’s okay if I can’t do every single thing. I finally understand that it doesn’t make me a lesser artist or human being…” Alicia also talks to the mag about spiritual makeovers—and how she learned to say 'No' in order to create a more balanced approach to her world. The wife & mommy—who lives in SoHo with her husband, producer Swizz Beatz, and their 2-year-old son, Egypt—dished on being unprepared for Hurricane Sandy.  And after scrounging through the cupboards, scrambling to find something to eat that didn’t require cooking, she shares: “…After the third or fourth tuna fish sandwich, and after we learned we’d be without power for a week, I called my mother, who lives Uptown. See the pics inside and decide if we love it.... Last night, Solange Knowles attended the Ermenegildo Zegna ‘Essenze’ Collection Launch at the Ermenegildo Zegna Boutique in NYC. The fashion loving singer rocked nude B Brian Atwood Labrea Sandals and a sexy nude Olcay Gulsen Two Slit Dress.  She complimented the outfit with a box clutch, gold rings and a gold cuff.   She tweeted about the outfit saying, "I TRIED it with those two slits. JINGLE BALL 2012: Alicia Keys, Jordin Sparks & Jason Derulo GET FAB For KIIS FM's Holiday Posted: 04 Dec 2012 06:56 AM PST Jordin Sparks & Jason Derulo made their way to KIIS FM's 2012 Jingle Ball in L.A. last night.  The three day event capped off with appearances from Alicia Keys and the cute couple.  Pics inside... Jordin's looking red hot these days.  So it's no surprise Mr. Derulo can't keep his hands off his Sparkle star of a girlfriend.  The twosome popped up at Nokia Theatre’s L.A. Live as Jason was performing.  Also hitting the stage Monday night: Flo Rida, Pitbull, PSY, and The Wanted. Chick's body is killer these days. LeBron James NAMED "SPORTS ILLUSTRATED" Sportsman of the Year + Jamie Foxx COVERS The January 2013 Issue Of UPSCALE Posted: 03 Dec 2012 02:53 PM PST Miami Heat star LeBron James was named SPORTS ILLUSTRATED's Sportsman of the Year.  Get more deets on his honor inside and find out what Oscar-winning actor Jaime Foxx told UPSCALE Magazine about dating in LA.  Find out what he said inside.....    Miami Heat star LeBron James, who is just the second player to win an NBA championship, MVP title and gold medal in the same year, was named SI's "Sportsman of the Year." LeBron reflected on winning the honor and his "Decision" to move to Miami saying,  "I remember just like yesterday when I signed here and basically, like the roof caved in. "To see that I and my team and everyone around me was able to patch that roof up, to come to this point, to come to this point and receive such a prestigious award, it's huge." Sports Group editor Paul Fichtenbaum said, "LeBron kind of made it easy on us. In a year that had really high standards, he just stood taller than everybody else.  I do think there has been some sort of closure - maybe not entirely in Cleveland, but across the nation. LeBron's jerseys are now the No. 1-selling jerseys. I think there's a reason for that. I think people really appreciate him for everything he can do." Mike Krzyzewski, head coach of Team USA, beautifully described LeBron saying, "The game is a house, and some players only have one or two windows in their house because they can't absorb any more light. When I met LeBron, he only had a few windows, but then he learned how beautiful the game can be, so he put more windows in. Now he sees the damn game so well, it's like he lives in a glass building. He has entered a state of mastery. There's nothing he can't do. God gave him a lot but he is using everything. He's one of the unique sports figures of all time, really, and he's right in that area where it's all come together." A voracious mind has caught up with a supreme body. The marriage is a marvel."   Dude has a lot of haters, but the title is well deserved.  The Dec. 10th issue of SI hits the stands on Wednesday and LeBron will be honored at the magazine's Sportsman of the Year awards gala in New York on the same day.   Also in magazine covers..... Jamie Foxx, who just celebrated his LA CONFIDENTIAL cover, stars in Quentin Tarantino's latest flick Django Unchained (Dec. 25th).  In the latest January 2013 edition of UPSCALE Magazine, the actor jokes about dating LA women, how work sometimes dries up after winning an Oscar and his thoughts about slave movies.   Here are the highlights: On dating L.A. women: "What's the most romantic thing a woman has ever done for me? It's hard out here in L.A., they don't really do that shit. They be like n-gga you better be glad I'm here, the Lakers are having an after party. That's the most romantic thing a woman has ever done for me. She took me to a Laker party." On staying humble: "If you think about it, a lot of people that have won Oscars, you don't get a chance to see them any more. And that's because there's not a lot of work out there, it's not a lot of great projects, so you gotta be very careful and always stay humble. You can jump on out there and do your Oscar thing and you mess around and be trying to sell that Oscar, like, 'Give me $1,200 for this...let me get $1,500.' Like, 'It's gold, n-gga! It's pure gold! Here, hold it!'" On old black slave movies: "Usually when black folks are the slaves...when it's time to get them back as opposed to slapping them, we'll put our hands down like, 'Nah, I ain't gonna be like you...' And then we'll start singing and the next thing you know we got an album coming out, as opposed to just join on and whipping his ass. Just whip a n-gga and get on about your business."   Django Unchained hits theaters on Christmas day.

Beyonce's HBO Documentary SNEAK PEEK + DMX Sings "Rudolph" Posted: 03 Dec 2012 01:52 PM PST A quick sneak peek of Beyonce's HBO documentary was just posted to the net.  Check out what she's giving us inside, plus DMX's hilarious remix of "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer."   She;s once again giving us a peek into her own life, via her own camera in part, for an upcoming documentary.  Beyonce & HBO just released a sneak peek of what's in store for her big special airing on the premium cable network on February 16th. From the trailer, we see Beyonce putting in work at her Revel comeback concerts, busting through paparazzi mayhem, showing off her uncovered baby bump and more.  Check it:   And DMX is getting into the Christmas spirit: He hit up Power 105 recently to chop it up about what's been going on with him.  But the highlight of his visit--when he was asked to spit his version of "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer."   Check out what could possibly be one of the best rap remixes of "Rudolph" ever. REALITY TV FAB: TLC Puts FIRST LADIES Of The Church On DISPLAY With "The Sisterhood" Posted: 03 Dec 2012 11:57 AM PST TLC is prepping for reality tv's next phenomenon, "The Sisterhood."  Meet the pastor's wives who'll be stirring up drama in the name of Jesus inside.....   Set in the heart of Atlanta (obvi), TLC is hoping "The Sisterhood" will bring the same drama and excitement of "RHOA" and ""BBW," but with "Jesus" as a storyline.  The show provides a candid look at five larger-than-life preacher's wives as they run their families and churches. And since we've learned that a successful reality show is based on drama, you'll be able to count on these ladies to bring that to the table as well.   Accoridng to the trailer, tension will run high as the "ONLY" thing the ladies agree on in their love of God.  "Everything else is up for grabs," says one of the wives.   So what's going to set this show apart from other reality shows based on groups of women? From looking at the promo...not much. There will be skeletons (one of the preacher's wives admits to being a former crack addict), there will be sex (one couple is into handcuffs) there will be fighting, and there will be lots of shoes and fancy clothes. We guess the only difference is everything is done with just a touch a Jesus.  Meet the wives here, with blurbs from the press release:   DOMONIQUE SCOTT Domonique is anything but your typical preacher’s wife. She’s bold, she’s brash, and she’s unapologetically honest. After moving to Atlanta, she met and married Brian, an Evangelical pastor, and they had two daughters together. ON BLAST: Rob Kardashian OUTS Rita Ora For Cheating On Him....With 20 Dudes! Posted: 03 Dec 2012 11:00 AM PST Drama!  And this time it's with the male Kardashian.  Rob K. just put his UK bombshell singer of a girlfriend, Rita Ora, on BLAST.  Find out how he just told the entire world how homegirl chopped down plenty of other men while they were together inside... Gotta love a cheater story with a man scorned.  Rob Kardashian, the youngin of the Kardashian crew and only male (besides Bruce) of the Kardashian/Jenner crew, is in his feelings today. He posted some tweets detailing why he's so disgusted with his girlfriend Rita Ora.  And it's all because of her cheating ways.  Interestingly, the two only recently went public with their relationship--posting kissy pics with each other (above)--in the last couple months after dating for several months. So what alleged ho-activites are Rob revealing?  That Ms. "R.I.P." singer Rita slept with more than 20 dudes while she was his girlfriend.  So we assume...Rob & Rita are now over:   Burn!  The Def Jam chick has been trying to plaster herself all over the industry in every magazine, concert, performance, red carpet possible to really make her career happen.  Maybe this publicity could help.  Or maybe not.   Meanwhile, 'Rita Whora' is currently trending on Twitter.  And Rob deleted all of his tweets (including these) except for two from a few days ago.  Womp...
