PARTY PEOPLE: Toya Wright Throws Hubby Memphitz A Surprise Birthday Party--Tiny, Kandi, Trina Braxton & More CELEBRATE! Posted: 15 Dec 2012 08:19 AM PST Toya Wright must be competing for ATL's party host/mom/wife of the year.  Because she just put together her fourth party in two weeks....this one for her sexy husband Memphitz.   Check out pics of the couple and their celeb friends getting it in at the big surprise birthday bash inside...   At the Melia Hotel in Atlanta last night, reality star & boutique owner Toya Wright threw together a fab bash for her producer husband, Memphitz.  She invited their celeb friends and fam to his surprise party (his b-day was last week on December 10th) filled with drinks and panoramic views of the city.  She was likely returning the favor after Memphitz threw Toya a big surprise 29th birthday party back in October.   Toya's besties Kandi Burruss, whose hair & make-up were finally on point, and Tiny and her new braids were both there to party it up. And Memph got a few kisses & some grindin' from his wife. Her girl Trina Braxton stopped by the party. Yes, with Gabe.  I see those two are still at it.  And thankfully, Gabe kept up his new hair cut.    Toya was spotted dancing with fam in her sheer and cheetah print curve hugging mini dress.  And flaunting her cakes.  Chick loves the camera.      "Real Housewives of ATL" husband Peter Thomas was there to wish Memphitz a Happy Birthday. And Memph's newest employee, Mary Jane, posed it up with Toya.  MJ will be starring on the upcoming reality show foolishness "Real Mistresses of Atlanta," created and executive produced by Memphitz of course. The show has been picked up by the Oxygen channel, and Memph's already got a Dallas, Texas spinoff in the works.  He tweeted recently: Off to Dallas.  Didn't imagine it would be this easy recruiting for the New Show.  But I guess they're everywhere. RUMOR CONTROL: Ray J Is NOT ENGAGED To Model Mia Milano Posted: 15 Dec 2012 06:07 AM PST The streets are buzzing that actor and singer Ray J has gotten engaged to magazine model Mia Milano. Get the deets on what's going on inside..... A recent accessory worn by model Mia Milano (a diamond ring on her left hand) in pics where she seems to be flaunting it has many folks thinking that her on and off again boyfriend Ray J has finally popped the question.  But, people may be reading too far into things.   Though Ray J did tweet a pic of himself boo'd up with Mia under the caption "GameOver," a source close to the couple says the rumors are not true and there is no engagement.  In fact, the source told TMZ that Ray J is still heartbroken over Whitney Houston's death and isn't making any plans to walk down the aisle.  Too bad for Mia. Meanwhile, Mia is currently on a US club tour with her bff Shantel Jackson, who's engaged to Ray's bestie Floyd Mayweather.  How convenient.

Who doesn't love a good drag show?  Obviously Raven's a fan.  The child actress turned funny gal was caught on camera making nice with a drag queen who was slaying the stage at West Hollywood's premiere gay club Micky's in this week. FOOLERY: NBA Wives Of The Charlotte Bobcats Get Arrested After CLUB FIGHT...Try To Fight The Camera Men! Posted: 14 Dec 2012 03:21 PM PST The level of ratchety foolery that went down in Charlotte, North Carolina the other night. The wives/fiancee's of a few Charlotte Bobcats were wilin' out at a local club and ended up getting arrested after a brutal fight. Over what? Who knows. But we do know somebody's purse got stolen. Deets and foolish video of the chicks still trying to fight while getting arrested inside.... Foolery ensued at an unofficial Clippers vs. Bobcats afterparty Wednesday night at Label.  We thought this news video from Charlotte's WSOCTV.com was fake at first due to these chicks acting like this was a horribly scripted scene from "Love & Hip Hop ATL".  But unfortunately, it's real. Jamie Thomas, the 26-year-old wife of Bobcats forward Tyrus Thomas, and Sascha Smith, the fiancee of Bobcats gaurd Ben Gordon, were arrested along with 2 other women.  Jamie has been charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and DWI.  And Jamie looks extra roughed up in her mugshot and getting arrested on video below:   One of the women arrested at the Bobcats post-game party, 22-year-old Chicago native Morgan Williams (seen in the video above in this tragic orange hot pants outfit), tried to kick WSOC cameraman while the camera was rolling. And once more details spilled out, we found out that Morgan was accused of jacking another woman's purse named Alissa Jordan. And Jamie Thomas refused to get out of her car once police arrived on the scene, she tried to run over a cop (sigh), and cops had to break her driver's side window to get her and her friends, including Sascha, out (double sigh).  No word on how all of this connects together.  Just sounds like a night of ratchet foolywangery. The Charlotte Bobcats did release a statement saying they are aware of the matter, but they said they will not get involved.  Oh.... Sascha Smith & Ben Gordon We dug up their joint birthday party video from this past March.  The party went down in Birmingham at Chen Chow Brasserie.  And the woman in blue partying with Sascha looks very much like the Morgan Williams chick:       Jamie Thomas & Tyrus Thomas As long as these chicks don't get a reality show...

Kerry Washington Gets SCANDALOUS On "Live With Kelly & Michael" + Tyler Perry ANNOUNCES Two News Shows For OWN Posted: 14 Dec 2012 02:47 PM PST Kerry Washington chatted with Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa this morning about "Scandal" and Django Unchained. Watch her interview inside and get deets on Tyler Perry two OWN shows.... Actress Kerry Washington is back home in NYC and stopped by "Live With Kelly & Michael" this morning where she talked about Django Unchained saying it was the "hardest role I've ever had to do psychologically amd emotionally." The Bronx-born fab chick also revealed that fans of her hit show, Scandal, call themselves Gladiators and she's really excited that the show is so beloved.  She also jokingly invited the studio audience to her home for Christmas dinner, while her parents sat right in the audience. Watch her interview here:   Also on television...     Tyler Perry has announced the two scripted shows he'll be bringining to OWN in 2013.  The first is a drama called “The Haves And The Have Nots” which focuses on drama between two families: the affluent Cryer family and the impoverished family of their housekeeper Hanna. The second is a sitcom called “Love Thy Neighbor,” which centers on the food, fun and laughter found at a place called Love's Diner. Both shows will be produced my Tyler Perry Studios and are set for a mid-2013 premiere on Oprah's network.  Will you be watching?

President Obama TEARFULLY SPEAKS On Connecticut's "MASS SHOOTING," Says "Our Hearts Are Broken..." Posted: 14 Dec 2012 02:09 PM PST As he wiped tears from his eyes, President Obama spoke to the nation early today as the "Father-In-Chief".  He offered words of comfort to a nation rattled by a mass shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut that left has 27 people dead, and possibly more outside the scene of the school. Watch President Obama's statement inside..... Our Commander-In-Chief spoke to the nation earlier today following a horrific mass shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, CT that left 27 people dead, including 20 children. And he became extremely emotional throughout the speech. He said,  This afternoon, I spoke with Governor Malloy and FBI Director Mueller. I offered Governor Malloy my condolences on behalf of the nation, and made it clear he will have every single resource that he needs to investigate this heinous crime, care for the victims, counsel their families. We’ve endured too many of these tragedies in the past few years. And each time I learn the news I react not as a President, but as anybody else would -- as a parent. And that was especially true today. I know there’s not a parent in America who doesn’t feel the same overwhelming grief that I do. The majority of those who died today were children -- beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old. They had their entire lives ahead of them -- birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own. Among the fallen were also teachers -- men and women who devoted their lives to helping our children fulfill their dreams. So our hearts are broken today -- for the parents and grandparents, sisters and brothers of these little children, and for the families of the adults who were lost. Our hearts are broken for the parents of the survivors as well, for as blessed as they are to have their children home tonight, they know that their children’s innocence has been torn away from them too early, and there are no words that will ease their pain. As a country, we have been through this too many times. Whether it’s an elementary school in Newtown, or a shopping mall in Oregon, or a temple in Wisconsin, or a movie theater in Aurora, or a street corner in Chicago -- these neighborhoods are our neighborhoods, and these children are our children. And we're going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics. This evening, Michelle and I will do what I know every parent in America will do, which is hug our children a little tighter and we’ll tell them that we love them, and we’ll remind each other how deeply we love one another. But there are families in Connecticut who cannot do that tonight. And they need all of us right now. In the hard days to come, that community needs us to be at our best as Americans. And I will do everything in my power as President to help. Because while nothing can fill the space of a lost child or loved one, all of us can extend a hand to those in need -- to remind them that we are there for them, that we are praying for them, that the love they felt for those they lost endures not just in their memories but also in ours. May God bless the memory of the victims and, in the words of Scripture, heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.   We offer our condolences to the families.....   Watch the video below:

Tiny rolled with her husband, T.I., to Jeezy's It's Tha World mixtape party at Vanquish last night.  And while she was partying it up with the likes of Drake, Ludacris, and an apparent ATL lover Robert DeNiro, she also showed off her new look.   The "Family Hustle" reality star is now rocking dark brown braids with bleach blonde highlights throughout.  And it's giving us a pure 90's throwback vibe...like something she would have rocked during her Xscape days. IDOL GALS: Mariah's All Smiles In Gold, While Nicki HIDES OUT From The Cameras In Her Slippers Posted: 14 Dec 2012 12:46 PM PST Mariah is living her life like it's golden indeed.  The diva made her way to another day of "Idol" tapings looking like a bag of money (gold bars...that is).  And Nicki hopped out her car hiding from the paps since she didn't have her daily costume on yet.   Pics inside... A real diva is ALWAYS prepared for those flashing lights.  And MiMi reminded us why she is just that: She showe doff her gams in a short sparkling gold dress and gold heels as she entered "Idol" studios to continue taping before next month's premiere. Meanwhile: Nicki Minaj hopped out her car in her slippers, jeans, and a head wrap guarding her face from the paparazzi.   Probably the most normal we've ever seen her look, but clearly, chick wasn't proud of non-camera ready moment.  She headed to her dressing room to put on her buttpads latest outlandish look. BREAKING DETAILS: Gunman (Now Identified) OPENS Fire At ELEMENTARY School--At LEAST 26 People Killed, At Least 18 Are Children Posted: 14 Dec 2012 11:21 AM PST In a horrific scene playing out all morning, at least 26 people were killed today after a gunman (who has now been identified) opened fire at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. More information inside....   According to CBS News and the Associated Press,  a gunman opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut this morning, killing at least 26 people.  Eighteen of them were children.  Early reports say the mass shooting happened around 9:41AM this morning, and the dead gunman was armed with two semi-automatic weapons (one of them being a 223-caliber rifle) and has ties to the elementary school and New Jersey.   Police have entered a New Jersey residence believing to be tied to the shooter who supposedly drove to CT at some point. During a press conference held moments ago, Connecticut State Police Lt. Paul Vance said all local police and on and off-duty troopers were called to respond to the scene. CBS 2 News in New York is also reporting that one person was escorted out of the woods surrounding the school and is currently being held by police as a suspect in the mass shooting. One witness said the man looked into the eyes of parents and said, "I didn't do it" as he was taken to a police car.   Some reports are saying the incident began with an altercation in the principal's office, with the principal being the first person shot.  One of the school children interviewed on local newscasts said his life was saved as he was in the hallway, headed to the principal's office, when he was pulled into a classroom by a teacher who saw bullets flying. It's also being reported that President Obama has spoken to Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy and has pledged federal support. So far we know... 26 fatalities on the scene 18 of the victims are children,  The school's principal was shot and killed 2 people injured 1 gunman killed (approx. 24 years old) on the scene 1 person in custody Whether more than one gunman was involved is still yet to be seen UPDATES (According to ABC News & CBS News telecasts) 2:29p EST The identity and name of the shooter is known, but news outlets have decided to hold on to the information for now.  The gunman is Adam Lanza and he reportedly grew up in Newtown, CT. His mother still lives there. His family is currently cooperating with cops. The gunman's mother was a teacher at the school AND found among the dead inside the school.  Many of the children killed were her students. 3:00p EST On his Facebook page, Ryan said he lives in Hoboken, NJ and is from Newtown, CT.  A family member of Adam's was arrested at his Hoboken apartment following the shooting.  3:29p EST CNN reports the principal and school guidance counselor have been found dead. President Obama just delivered an extremely emotional and tearful press conference in regards to today's shooting. A brother of the shooter has been found dead in the shooter's Hoboken home, according to ABC News telecast. (early reports)  3:51 EST 27 persons are dead (20 children, 6 adults, 1 shooter) At least one body was found at a secondary location, the home of Adam Lanza's mother Nancy in Newtown, CT (some reports suggest there were 2 bodies found, 1 a female on the second floor of the home) Police are saying the girlfriend of Ryan Lanza (Adam's brother) and another friend are missing in New Jersey. Ryan Lanza is being questioned by police. CONFLICTING REPORTS - The Associated Press is still identifying Ryan Lanza as the shooter, ABC News reports that younger brother Adam Lanza was the shooter All flags have been ordered to half-staff to honor the victims (below, flags pictured today around the Washington Monumet in D.C.) 5:25 EST Ryan told authorities that his younger brother is autistic, or has Asperger syndrome and a “personality disorder.” And neighbors described Adam as “odd” and displaying characteristics associated with obsessive-compulsive disorder. 7:27 EST The mother of the shooter, Nancy Lanza, was found dead at her home in Newton, CT, not at the school as earlier reported. 7:29 EST The shooter has OFFICIALLY been determined to be 20-year-old Adam Lanza (he was carrying the ID of his brother Ryan). Ryan, age 24, lives in Hoboken, NJ and was being questioned at a Jersey police station. The Lanza's father lives in Stamford, CT and has been divorced from Nancy for several years.   Our prayers are with the families of the Connecticut school as this unimaginably sad event has occurred. See the highlights inside and find out Tamar Braxton's album release date....   In the latest issue of ROLLING OUT, actor Lance Gross, who's also making moves behind the camera lens as a photographer, opened up about his female fans, being a role model and revealed that he wants kids.    Here are the highlights: Why is being a role model to children so important to you? I grew up in Oakland, [Calif.], and I just remember how it was growing up there. I had my father, and he was an amazing man and an amazing role model, so I always wanted to mirror that … So when I got into this business, I told myself that I wanted to be somebody that little kids aspired to be like … I just think it’s real important — especially for young black males — because I look at the guidance that my father gave me. I had friends who didn’t have that growing up, and I see how they turned out compared to how I turned out, and it’s a big difference. So I think that I owe that to my father, because he played his part, he did what he was supposed to do, and he set a great example … I just want to keep continuing to set the example that my father set for me. Do you ever think about becoming a father so you can pass down all of the things that your father taught you? Oh yeah, of course! … I definitely want children. That’s important to me, so I just want to make sure that I’m completely prepared for it when that day comes. Have you grown accustomed to the amount of attention that you get from women? No, it’s still a trip to me. It always feels new, and I can never get used to that. I mean, I’m humble … to me, I’m just a regular cat from Oakland, California. The attention is nice, though, and I really appreciate it. I appreciate every compliment, and never let any of it go to my head. As her "Love and War" single (which we LOVE) climbs the charts, fans are naturally curious about Tamar Braxton's album release date.  And now we have an answer. The still-untitled project will hit the stores on February 12, 2013 via Universal Music Group / Streamline Records / Interscope Records.  Glad Vince finally let this girl LIVE.  Just jokes... And in addition to her "Tamer & Vince" co-star LaShawn Daniels (who helmed the lead single), other album contributors include The Underdogs, Ester Dean, Stargate, and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.

Breezy posted an Instagram pic today with a friend of his in Dubai.  And along with him saying how good friends are hard to find, he is seen sporting his on-again off-again lover Karrueche Tran's clothing line, The Kill.  The logo is right over his heart on the white tee he's rocking.  And since Karrueche teamed up with one of Chris' stylists, Ugo Mozie, to do this line, it's no surprise Chris wants to lend his support. He tweeted the above pic saying: "Real friend in Dubai. So humble and kind. You don't meet genuine people everyday so when u do keep them close." And while Kae chills back home in L.A., she tweeted her frustration with the line not launching on 12/12/12 as planned:   And her good celeb friend Christina Milian hit up the "Wendy Show" yesterday (it aired today) to promote the season finale of "The Voice."   And she said Kae's a sweetheart and she thinks she and Chris make a good couple.  Mmhmm.   Meanwhile, Rihanna tweeted a nice letter to her Navy yesterday thanking them for making her Unapologetic album #1 in umpteen countries--including the U.S. for the first time in her career.
