CUTENESS ALERT: Viola Davis & Baby Girl Genesis Chill With The Dolphins Posted: 27 Mar 2013 08:56 AM PDT Oscar nominee Viola Davis spent some time at the Georgia Aquarium recently with her daughter Genesis.  We rarely get to see pics of the adorable tot, but we've got pics of the mommy-daughter twosome having some fun with a dolphin inside... Beautiful Creatures star Viola Davis recently took a break from one of her many film projects to share a cutesy aquatic adventure at Georgia Aquarium with her daughter Genesis.  Viola is in GA filming her next flick Prisoners and she brought her baby girl in on one of her celebrity perks-- a behind-the-scenes tour of the Aquarium. Since her debut, we've watched the diamond studded butterfly spread her wings and write tons of records that resonate with millions of lambs around the world.  And now that she's found the love of her life in Nick Cannon, we can look forward to even more heartfelt songs about love and inspiration. See the candids inside..... 46-year-old A-list actress Halle Berry teased beach goers yesterday as she flaunted her fabulous bikini body, and you can't miss it even with her black kaftan. The beach loving mom, who made it a family day with fiancee Olivier Martinez, held on tightly to a pair of pink flip flops, a pink dress and a traditional Hawaiian lei for her adorable daughter Nahla. How cute is Nahla's Hello Kitty swimsuit! Halle made the most of her much needed vacation after a hectic promo tour for her hit film The Call.  And now that most of the dust around their custody battle has settled between her and former boyfriend Gabe Aubry, it looks like everyone has moved on to a better place.     Halle recently spoke about delaying her move to France with Olivier saying, 'It probably won't be until my daughter is 18 and off to college. When Nahla turns 18, she'll be legally able to make her own decisions about where she wants to be and I think that then, when she's off on her own, we'll move there. Before she watched herself in the season premiere of BET's "The Game" last night, Ciara made her way to Barneys with her rapper boyfriend Future.  Rocking a Varsity jacket and black Uggs and sweatpants, CiCi kept it cute and casual while shopping with her boo, who rocked a Givenchy Virgin Mary sweatshirt:   They left in her black truck after speaking to the paps. Also at Barney's yesterday:   "Basketball Wives LA" star Draya Michele rocked her club look to the department store.  She threw on a cute & matchy two piece printed short set by Preme Butik and Louboutin pumps...to shop.  And picked up something at Ferragamo. Angela Bassett TALKS "Waiting To Exhale" Sequel...And What To Do About Whitney Houston's Character Posted: 26 Mar 2013 04:22 PM PDT While promoting her role in the hit film Olympus Has Fallen, Golden Globe winning actress Angela Bassett dished on what's going on with the Waiting To Exhale sequel. Find out what she said inside....   Golden Globe winner Angela Bassett talked to HuffPost Black Voices about her most recent hit movie Olympus Has Fallen and also revealed the status of the Waiting To Exhale sequel and her thoughts on the continuation of Whitney Houston's "Savannah character".  Also, she revealed which historical figure she hopes to portray one day.  Here are the highlights: On your latest film, “Olympus Has Fallen.” Can talk about your role as Lynn Jacobs? I play Lynn Jacobs the director of the secret service. She’s the ex-boss of Gerard Butler character “Mike Banning.” There’s never been a female head of the Secret Service, much less a woman of color. It really was a bold casting choice, because generally the role is dominated by men and testosterone. But sometimes with women in movies, we can show our best selves, and in this one we show that we’re real capable women. Myself, Melissa Leo as Secretary of Defense, which is another role that hasn’t been played by a woman. But there’s a level of commitment, integrity and strength in the roles. The film is so authentic. Terry McMillian shared her thoughts on the sequel to “Waiting to Exhale,” and revealed that the film’s producers were still up in the air about Whitney Houston’s character, “Savannah Jackson.” What’s the latest status? They’re still writing. One of our original producers, from the first “Exhale,” is on board. So that’s a good sign, but they’re still working on the script. It’s just how to deal with it [Whitney’s loss]. And probably the best way to deal with it is just deal with it. It’s like what happens in life, in a way. Life is about life in passing, living and dying, winning and losing. So that’s what I know so far. If the producers decide to proceed with the storyline of “Savannah,” is there anyone that you would like to see play the character? Not off the top of my head. That would be interesting for the fans to decide. I wonder if they [the producers] have done any outreach that way. Who would the fans like to see, or what they would like to see. I don’t feel like replacing that character is the most respectful way to go, because in my heart I love Whitney and her work and the time that we shared together. Her role and her presence was just so important. I have a hard time replacing someone else in her shoes. I guess they wouldn’t have to do that. We would have to just come up with a brand new friend. You have portrayed some of history’s most prominent figures. Is there anyone else on your wish list? I want to play some made up people now! [Laughs] I’m ready for some fiction…But I think there was a time when I was interested in playing Bessie Coleman, someone a lot of people don’t know of. She was the first African-American female aviator. But that was a period piece that never got off the ground. Porsha Stewart BLINDSIDED By DIVORCE PAPERS, TRIED To SAVE Mariage Posted: 26 Mar 2013 03:06 PM PDT Porsha Stewart is speaking out, revealing that she was blindsided by Kordell Stewart filing for divorce and that he led her on.  Find out what she said inside....   We've been raising questions about it all day, and it turns out, Porsha was completely blindsided by Kordell's move to file for divorce.  Her rep revealed in a statement that she was "disappointed about her husband's recent filing for divorce." We told you earlier that from the tone of her tweets, it really seemed like Porsha was committed to working on her marriage.  And just a week before Kordell filed, Porsha told Hollywood Life that kids were still in their future, but they wanted to make sure the foundation of their marriage was solid before they tried again.   And in one shocking revelation, Porsha seems to have found out about the divorce around the same time that many of her fans got the news.  Her rep claims, "[Kordell] misled her and she found out about the filing in the media."   WOMP. Porsha's rep added, "Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith."   We will keep you posted...... Beyonce Headlining GUCCI'S "Chime For Change" London Concert With John Legend, Rita Ora & Timbaland + Jaden Smith's "Hello" (VIDEO) Posted: 26 Mar 2013 02:54 PM PDT In addition to co-founding Gucci's "Chime For Change" campaign, Beyonce will headline a concert for the foundation that will also featuring Rita Ora, John Legend and Timbaland.  Find out more inside and watch Jaden Smith's "Hello" video.   The past few weeks have been pretty interesting for members of Beyonce's beehive as they've had to defend her "Bow Down" single, which some critics viewed as an attack on women (even though she never said the song was against women, as opposed to her haters of all sexes).  Now, the singer (shown above in a gown from Gucci's Fall 2011 collection) has flipped the script and announced a global fundrasier for the "Chime For Change" empowerment foundation, which so co-founded with Gucci and Salma Hayek.   Entitled The Sound Of Change Live, the Control Room-produced fundraiser concert will be held on June 1st at Twickenham Stadium in London.  It will also feature international stars Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Iggy Azalea, John Legend, Rita Ora, Laura Pausini and Timbaland.  Bey said today, "Our goal is to call for change for girls and women in the loudest voice possible. I am excited for us to come together on June 1 to bring the issues of education, health and justice for girls and women to the world stage." Gucci is set to kick in funds for the show so proceeds can be used for the global charities involved with the initiative. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday March 27 and folks can choose which charity their ticket sale will be donated to.   After Earth star Jaden Smith has released a video for "Hello", a track off his The Cool Cafe: Cool Tape Vol. 1 mixtape. In the black-and-white clip, shot in NYC, Jaden travels around the city posing with fans, window shopping and he gets snapped by the paparazzi. Brandy & Lauren London Hit Up "WENDY", Talk "The Game," "Temptation" & WEDDING Details Posted: 26 Mar 2013 01:10 PM PDT Brandy dropped by "The Wendy Williams Show" today to promote her role in "Tyler Perry's Temptation" and the 100th episode of "The Game." Watch Brandy dish about her new movie, her engagement to Ryan Press and tonight's season premiere with Lauren London and Jay Ellis inside.....   The gorgeous Brandy, in a Kenzo printed cardigan and matching skirt with Nicholas Kirkwood dotted sandals, appeared on The Wendy Williams Show this morning where she talked about her role in "Tyler Perry's Temptation", the day Ryan Press popped the question, and working on "The Game." When talking about her upcoming wedding, she revealed that Ryan proposed on Christmas Day.  She said that as soon as her father prayed over dinner, she opened her eyes and saw Ryan down on his knees with a ring.  She knew the "big question" was coming at some point but was still surprised at the timing. And when it comes to the special day, she said she hopes to have a big wedding, but isn't sure if she'll sign up for a wedding-themed reality show. She added that her 10-year-old daughter Sy’rai will be the maid of honor saying, “She’s my best friend. FOOLYWANG MATERIAL: Jodeci ATTEMPTS To Reunite On Stage, Gets BOOED, Jumps Off Stage & Can't Get Back Up Posted: 26 Mar 2013 01:05 PM PDT Wondering what these 4 fellas have been up to since the 90's?  It definitely aint all good news for at least 3 of them.  Deets inside on Jodeci's recent foolywang material of a concert inside... So, someoneone thought it was a good idea to add Dalvin, K-Ci & JoJo (Devonte was not in attendance) to "The Show" bill, a concert at Wembley Arena in London that showcased 90's R&B acts like SWV, Dru Hill and Changing Faces. All the groups were reportedly great, except for Jodeci.  The guys sounded like they just sang together for the first time in 20 years at the soundcheck earlier that day.  And the crowd started to BOO them when the group asked if they could perform for 10 minutes longer.  Not a good look. And peep the second video where literally 49 seconds into their show, Mr. Dalvin jumps off the stage.  And can't get back up on stage.  Someone had to help him.  Here's the rundown from the concert goer who posted one of the videos: After great performances from Changing Faces, SWV, Dru Hill and Blackstreet, Jodeci came out headling the show. With high exceptions now been set, within the first 30 seconds of Jodeci’s performance, Dalvin jumps off the stage almost breaking his back with another member leaving the stage immediately after!!! They tried to carry on with thier performance after that with 3 members, but thier singing was out of beat/tune, where clearly no rehearsals had taken place as THEY were all over the place, with one member singing acapella whilst another talking over him….it was safe to say they were under the influence of something (again) The crowd started booing them within a couple of minutes and the arena started to empty rapidly. Jodeci do NOT need to come back to the UK (not even for a holiday!!!)- DJ Weighty J The group has had their fair share of drug and alcohol problems, so we wish they would have spent a bit more time practicing just to make sure they were ok, because.... Let it be known, we'e big Jodeci fans around these parts.  Hence, why this is so painful to watch and we're mad they even set themselves up for this.  These dudes deserve their respect in the game, but ish like this messes up their legacy.  Keep hope alive though....

NeNe Leakes -- "I'm Standing By Porsha!", Plus KORDELL Calls Divorce "Difficult" Posted: 26 Mar 2013 12:03 PM PDT "RHOA" co-stars Porsha Stewart & NeNe Leakes had dinner last night....and NeNe revealed she's TEAM PORSHA in the divorce.  Plus, Kordell Stewart has issued a short statement asking for privacy.  What Linnithia and Kordell had to say inside... NeNe wants folks to know, she's in Porsha's corner.  When the news broke today that Kordell Stewart filed for divorce on wife Porsha, NeNe put in her 2 cents.  And she's Team Porsha. Sounds like NeNe's saying she called this from the beginning.  And at their dinner last night, she and Porsha were all smiles.  No word on when Porsha actually found out about the filing.   Meanwhile, Kordell has just spoken out about the divorce via his lawyers.  He and his legal team issued the following statement to Hip Hollywood asking for "privacy":     Photos: Twitter

Wendy Raquel Robinson REACTS To Pooch Hall's Criticism & Tia Mowry's DEPARTURE From "The Game" -- SAYS "It Was Devastating" Posted: 26 Mar 2013 11:07 AM PDT "The Game" star Wendy Raquel Robinson has opened up about her former co-stars Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall and how she felt when she learned they wouldn't return for another season.  Find out what she said inside....    Earlier today, actress Wendy Raquel Robinson, along with castmate Hosea Chanchez, headed to the top of the Empire State Building where they celebrated the 100th episode of "The Game" (airing tonight).  And now, as BET gears up for its sixth season opener, Wendy talked to ABC News about the show's shift.   Since the departure of former lead actors Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall, there's been plenty of criticism from fans and actors themselves.  So "Tasha Mack" dished on how she felt about the new lineup.  Here are the highlights: If Game Producers Told Cast About Tia Mowry-Hardrict/Pooch Hall's Departures: Really they didn't tell us anything because at the end of the day it's not our business. ...[They did share] it was going to be hard to continue on with the storyline, which does make a lot of sense. If [Derwin Davis] gets traded and [Melanie Davis is] off at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore -- we're set in San Diego -- so it would've been a little convoluted. Her Reaction to Pooch Hall's Negative Tweets About The Game: It's kind of like going through a bad divorce and there's the love of your life getting married again. How do you act? I can't say what Pooch said on Twitter, or re-tweeted is appropriate, but it's...an emotional reaction. It's a knee jerk reaction. He'll get over it and that wound will heal. Her Reaction to Tia Mowry-Hardrict Leaving The Show: Personally that's my little sister so it was devastating. But now in retrospect so many other opportunities have come to her: movies, her own show and then she got a reality show. So...it's still hard, but it's a blessing in a disguise for her as well. On New Season of The Game: "It's fresh. It's new. It's still the same drama/comedy...but I do like the addition," Robinson said referring to new cast members: Lauren London and Jay Ellis. "I think it's going to help. So....Kordell & Porsha Stewart Possibly DID Have A Pre-Nup? Posted: 26 Mar 2013 10:25 AM PDT So Porsha & Kordell Stewart had a pre-nuptial agreement afterall, it seems.  Based off what Kordell listed in his divorce documents, it suggests the couple who lived the "picture perfect" life had possibly planned for the worst.  Details inside... Kordell Stewart stated in his divorce petition, filed March 22nd, that he and Porsha were already separated.  The document, according to TMZ, also states that Kordell isn't paying a dime in spousal support because, "[She's] an able-bodied person, earning income and is capable of supporting herself." He also stated that there will be no division of assets, which typically suggests a pre-nup is in place.  Despite the fact that Porsha said on the show the two did not have one. In Kandi's Bravo blog back in January, she revealed that Porsha told her she did not have a pre-nup: “I hope Porsha and Kordell’s marriage lasts for a lifetime, but I will say that I was shocked when she told me that they didn’t do a pre-nup. I don’t know why I was shocked, but I was.  Some people like things the good ol’ fashion way, and there’s nothing wrong with that. To each his own!” Not sure how Porsha wouldn't know....of if she was flat out lying.   So the real question here is....who's getting that larger-than-life pic picture of the couple that's hanging around their home?     And we're also wondering if Kordell gave hints last week as to his reasonings behind divorcing Porsha.  The day he filed, he RT'd a statement saying, "It's sad how quickly people can forget about you, until they want something from you."  And went on to say himself, "Live and let live. Enjoy life to the fullest and know GODS plan is bigger than anything someone can say or do. By the way..GODS my homie." A few days before, he co-signed this sentiment, "Sometimes "sorry" is not enough. Sometimes you actually have to change." Porsha has yet to comment, but she did send out this message today, "Morning Dolls Today is the 1st Day of the rest of your Life! Make It GREAT! #PS❤U. Two days after he filed, Porsha tweeted, "A Marriage can last forever when two people decide to remain as one and conquer trials & tribulations together! #teamstewarts #faith #RHOA". So was Porsha attempting to work things out?
