Was The Change From Porsha Stewart The EVANGELIST...To A Ditzy Trophy Wife...One Cause Of The DIVORCE ? Posted: 28 Mar 2013 08:57 AM PDT You may have missed it when it recently & quietly hit the net, but back in 2010, "RHOA" star Porsha Stewart spent her days spreading the gospel as an EVANGELIST.  So we gotta ask, was her major change during reality TV at least one of the causes of the divorce? This may explain her hard core traditional views on a woman's place in the home as it relates to her husband, but it doesn't explain much else. Before the then Ms. Williams became a "Housewife," she was "preaching" from the Bible at High Praise Christian Center Ministries in Lithonia, GA.  We received a tip full of videos of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Stewart-Williams as an EVANGELIST, some of which were exposed quietly a few months ago. Apparently, as the granddaughter of a preacher, she picked up a few things while growing up.  But it seems everything changed after her marriage to Kordell Stewart in May 2011. So how does a well spoken, seemingly conservative Evangelist become a ditzy glammed up "Barbie" who calls herself a "black trophy wife"?  With the help of a reality show check and the lure of fame. We don't know many Evangelists who rock skin tight dresses and sexy (sometimes minimal) clothing while out and about.  It seems Porsha may have been playing a role on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" that may not have been the REAL her.  And maybe some folks...like her husband...weren't feeling it.     Time will tell if her obvious & major switch up had anything to do with Kordell filing for divorce last week.   But check out a couple videos of EVANGELIST Porsha in action back then and decide for yourselves. Nene Leakes SPILLS Wedding Deets, Invites Kim Zolciak To The Festivities Posted: 28 Mar 2013 08:33 AM PDT Nene Leakes is spilling the beans about her summer wedding to Gregg Leakes and one shocking detail is that Kim Zolciak is on the invite list!  Find out more inside.....   "RHOA" star Nene Leakes has big plans for her summer wedding to ex-husband Gregg Leakes.  During an exclusive interview with In Touch, "The New Normal" star announced plans to lose weight among the many deets.  "I will try to lose 10 pounds, but I don’t want to be a skinny-ass bride – I wanna be curvy!’ So what type of dress will she wear?  She told the mag, she's "... ‘still interviewing designers. They’re sending me sketches." But Nene doesn't have much time to lose the weight and pick the dress as the wedding is right around the corner!  "We are going to have a big fantasy wedding, probably in Atlanta this summer. My granddaughter Bri’asia will be there. She can’t walk yet but we’ll pull her down the aisle!’ She also gave a little of the backstory about why she and Gregg divorced saying, "When I started living my dream, things changed. I started making more money than him. He’d say “You don’t need me anymore,” but I really did." But as Nene made waves in Hollywood on "Glee" and "The New Normal", she and Gregg realized that they still loved each other.  So naturally...Gregg popped the question, for a second time!   "We were with our son – Gregg somehow got him out of the condo and had a big heart made of Hershey’s Kisses on the bed. It was sweet! I said yes right away."   And while Mrs. Leakes twice over hasn't revealed if the wedding will play out as a big Bravo special, she did reveal that ALL of her tv castmates will be invited.   ‘I will definitely invite every castmate from every show I’m on. I don’t know who’s available but they’re all on the list! RHOA’s Cynthia [Bailey] will be a bridesmaid. And Kim [Zolciak] will be invited as well.’ ‘She’s invited to my wedding, and I believe she will come. I’m extending an olive branch.’ And Kim Zolciak recently confirmed to In Touch that she plans to attend the wedding saying! "I have always been and I continue to be happy for NeNe, and I look forward to being invited to the wedding. NeNe and I started this journey together and although we have had our ups and downs, I am excited to get our friendship back on track.” She added, "We were friends long before RHOA, and we will be friends long after RHOA if it's up to me." It's great the Nene and Kim have patched things up....but what about Sheree Whitfield?  Y'all know she's dying to do a She by Sheree wedding collection... EXTRAS: 1.  Nelson Mandela, the famed former president of South Africa has been hospitalized for a lung infection.  In a statement recently made public, the current South African President, Jacob Zuma, has asked for prayers.  Story.

LUNCH DATE: Ashanti Gets Chic At THE IVY Posted: 28 Mar 2013 06:48 AM PDT Ashanti is spending her days in L.A. working away on her new album Braveheart.  And she took some time away from the studio to grab lunch at The Ivy.   Check the pics inside... Rocking a white shirt with black trim and white pants, Ashanti put a little chicness in her step and rolled to lunch in Beverly Hills with a friend yesterday. Talks Raising Her & Kanye West's Bi-Racial Child Posted: 27 Mar 2013 03:40 PM PDT While promoting her role in Tyler Perry's Temptation, Kim Kardashian spoke to BET about raising a bi-racial baby and how she and Kanye West will handle the issue of race.  Check it inside..... There's a few people out there who are skeptical about Kim K.'s parenting skills.  So check out her newest comments to BET about how she's going to raise her and Kanye West's bi-racial baby: On raising a bi-racial child: “I have a lot of friends that are all different nationalities and their children are bi-racial, so they have kind of talked to me a little bit about it and what to expect and what not to expect. "But I think that the most important thing is how I would want to raise my children is to just not see color.  There will be so many experiences…that you won’t really know how to prepare for until you really go through it so I think raising a child in general is challenging.” On expsing her children to different cultures “Obviously you want your children for me to travel the world and experience different races and different cultures everywhere so I think that would be something that is important to me to give as much information as I could. Kelly Rowland ANNOUNCES "Talk A Good Game" RELEASE Date + FORBES Reveals The TOP 5 MONEY EARNERS In Hip Hop Posted: 27 Mar 2013 03:08 PM PDT Kelly Rowland has announced a release date for her upcoming disc "Talk A Good Game."  Find out when the album hits the streets inside and see the list of Hip Hop's biggest money earners.   We saw "Ice" singer Kelly Rowland hit the studio with Wiz Khalifa, Akon and Pharrell a few days ago and now we know when we'll get the whole album. Ms. Kelly has confirmed that her fourth solo disc, Talk A Good Game, will be available on June 3 in the UK and June 4 in the US.  The disc will feature her collaboration with Lil' Wayne on "Ice" as well as her current chart single "Kiss Down Low." In the meantime, Kelly, who recently hosted BET's "Rip The Runway," has been doing club dates and red carpet hosting, Chatter about her proposed BET pilot series, "What Would Dylan Do" has been pretty silent lately, but it looks like it's still coming this fall.   And in other music news...   Forbes’ magazine has comprised a list of the top five wealthiest Hip Hop acts of 2013. Based on a tally of their business holdings, records sales, endorsements, and other factors, their total net-worth is close to $2 billion. In a sneak peek that's now going viral, Beyonce Knowles appears to be the upcoming May 2013 cover girl of VOGUE UK.  She's posing in a striped crop top and a high waisted sequin skirt.  And the look seems to be hues of her favorite color, blue. The "Bow Down" singer has been doing exclusive interviews with the online component of VOGUE UK about her new GUCCI "Chime For Change" Campaign.  So the camoaign may tie into her new cover story as well. Porsha Stewart Retains Same Lawyer As Michael Jordan's Alleged Baby's Mama + Kandi & Kenya SPEAK OUT In Support Posted: 27 Mar 2013 12:48 PM PDT After getting blindsided with divorce papers from her husband Kordell Stewart, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha nabbed an interesting choice of an attorney to represent her in the divorce settlement.  Plus, the reality chick's co-stars are speaking out in support...   Deets inside... Porsha Stewart has retained Randall Kessler as her divorce attorney.  If you recall, Kessler also represented Pamela Smith--the woman who alleged Michael Jordan was the father of her 16-year-old son. Pamela oddly dropped her case earlier this month, out of the blue, right after Michael's request to dismiss the case was rejected.  So it led folks to believe she and her legal team received an offer they couldn't refuse. So now that Porsha has retained the same legal representation, this divorce may not be as clean cut as Kordell wants it to be.   In his divorce petition, Kordell said that he did not want to offer spousal support, and also hinted that a pre-nup was in place because there would be no division of assets.  And Porsha's attorney said today about the case: “Typically there is a lot that happens but I can tell you that there will be a status conference where the parties get together and talk and the court helps direct them to work towards a resolution...I know Mr. Stewart’s attorney very well and I have worked with him in the past and we will work with him in this case to the extent that his client allows.” If Porsha ends up challenging his petition for spousal support, things will get interesting.  Kessler commented about Porsha possibly having the upper hand due to Kordell's words and actions being documented on tv: “The short answer is that evidence is evidence. If you’re on a security camera and we get it, or if you’re on reality television and that’s taped, that’s evidence as well.”   Meanwhile, Porsha's "RHOA" rival Kenya Moore spoke nothing but supportive words about the split (after saying she saw red flags before the split), and revealed she hopes they work it out.  She told TMZ: "It seems they just need to maybe iron some things out in their relationship. Maybe they could still make it work."   And co-star Kandi Burruss told CoCoa Fab today: “I was very sad.  I reached out to her. I didn’t talk to her, but we spoke on text. I was really just hurting for her. I hate the whole thing that when people get on reality TV sometimes that can breakdown a relationship. I hate that for her. Brandy, Lauren London, Wendy Raquel & More Party It Up For "The Game" PREMIERE...And Roll To"106 & Park" Posted: 27 Mar 2013 10:51 AM PDT The cast of BET's "The Game" celebrated the show's 100th episode and season six debut last night in NY.  TheYBF.com was on the scene, and we've got deets and pics from inside the premiere party.  Plus, watch the cast drop by "106 & Park"...   Last night, the cast of BET's hit scripted series, "The Game" host a swanky premiere party in New York City at the swanky Soho House.  The party celebrated last night's 100th episode which also doubled at the show's sixth season opener.   The show's hilarious scene-stealer, Wendy Raquel Robinson, looked good in a blue cut-out sleeve jumper.  She thanked the attendees for their support of "The Game" over the years.  And Wendy, who runs a performing arts school called "Amazing Grace Conservatory," revealed at the party that her production company is working on a African-American centered remake of Alice in Wonderland.  And Brandy posed with her sexy new co-star Jay Ellis.  Jay gave a teary speech of gratitude to the audience where he thanked the fans for allowing him to nab this job for the last 8 months. And Brandy (who also posed with former co-star Tika Sumpter), thanked the fans and spoke excitedly about the evolution of her "Chardonnay" character.  She'll be establishing a new bond with "Tasha Mack" this season.  And hopefully her character will learn some style sense. The party was also attended by series regular Hosea Chanchez and BET's CEO Debra Lee.     And earlier in the day.... The cast (Barry Floyd, Hosea, Lauren, Jay and Brandy) stopped by the set of "106 & Park" to talk about the changes their characters go through this year. During the chat, the group congratulated Wendy on the success of Elle Varner, who was a former student at Wendy's performing arts school.  Brandy gushed about her engagement and her role in the upcoming Temptation flick. And Lauren got fab in white jeans with black piping, along with a mesh paneled biker jacket.   Watch the cast on "106 & Park" here: Based off the premiere, we're not sure if this is still a comedy....and it seemed like one long infomercial for Instagram and Twitter.  But we're going to keep watching.... LOCKED UP: Gucci Mane Arrested On Club Assault Charge Posted: 27 Mar 2013 10:12 AM PDT After allegedly assaulting a soldier at an Atlanta club a few weeks ago, a warrant went out for Gucci Mane's arrest.  And he's recently turned himself in.  Deets inside.... Rapper and Spring Breakers star Gucci mane was booked into the Fulton County Jail Tuesday morning, and was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, according to the AJC. As we previously reported, a soldier who spotted Gucci out at a night club claims he asked the "Lemonade" rapper for a picture, and Gucci got irritated and hit him in the head with a bottle. Gucci faced a magistrate this morning for his first appearance.  Since the soldier ended up getting 10 stitches as a result of this incident, and there was no evidence as of yet of the soldier physically harassing the rapper, it will be a doozy for Gucci to get out of this one...
