Mariah Carey Works It Out At The "American Idol" After Party, RELEASES "Almost Home" Extended Trailer & Announces New Fragrance Posted: 08 Mar 2013 08:44 AM PST Mariah Carey stepped out in a lacy cocktail dress for last night's "American Idol" after party. See the pics inside and find out about her new fragrance and watch the extended trailer for "Almost Home." Mariah Carey turned heads in a revealing cocktail dress last night at The Grove in LA, where she celebrated The American Idol top 10 finalists. And she probably smelled up the place....in a good way.  Yesterday she also announced her new fragrance, called Mariah Carey Dreams, which celebrates the many stages of her life. Mimi (shown above getting ready for last night's "AI" taping) talked about the new scent saying, "The process of developing a fragrance is exhilarating and it takes me to another place within my creative self, which is why I enjoyed creating Mariah Carey Dreams. I humbly call myself a ‘perfumer in training’ because I love it so much – almost as much as I love making music. I have the utmost respect for the perfumers because they have the ability to combine a few simple scents into a classic and exciting fragrance.” But before she turned heads on the red carpet last night for the after party, Mimi wore an equally captivating gown for the actual show tweeting, "❤this Tom Ford dress made of patent leather and black sheer fabric that covers the top."  And her gorgeous shoes were also by Tom Ford.  Finally, a look that is from this decade and looks pretty hot on her as well.   In other MC news, she released the extended trailer for her "Almost Home" video from the movie OZ The Great And Powerful:   Photos via Instagram/Splash/Getty

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT: Keshia Knight Pulliam Makes A "SPLASH" Posted: 08 Mar 2013 07:18 AM PST Famed Cosby kid Keshia Knight Pulliam was spotted in her bathing suit on the set of the upcoming reality tv series "Splash." See Keshia take a dive inside... Former "House of Payne" star Keshia Knight Pulliam is set to hit the small screen for "Splash," a reality competition series where'll she'll join Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and other celebrities taking a dive.  We posted pics of her practicing her diving skills before.  And she's still at it. All jokes aside, Keshia is sure to combat a few stereotypes as the only Black woman on the cast. Who says a YBF chick can't get their hair wet!?   While "Splash" is set to debut on ABC on March 19, "Guys With Kids" fans got a chance to see Keshia appear for the second time on-screen with fellow Cosby kid Tempestt Bledsoe on the season finale of the NBC sitcom.        Photos via London Entertainment /Splash News

ON THE SET: Ciara POSTS Pic From "The Game" + New "AFTER EARTH" Trailer REVEALED Posted: 08 Mar 2013 06:15 AM PST Ciara taped an appearance on BET's "The Game" and recently shared a photo from the set.  See the pic inside and check out After Earth's new movie poster and second trailer....   While her latest single "Body Party" is helping generate much-needed buzz for her upcoming One Woman Army album, Ciara is honing her acting skills with an appearance on BET's hit show "The Game."  She tweeted a photo from the set with actor Hosea Chanchez saying, "Me and Malik on Set Choppin It Up, That Boy Crazy! The premiere episode of The Game" airs on March 26 10pm ET!   And at the movies... Last year, we showed you the first trailer for the futuristic thriller After Earth starring Will Smith and his son Jaden. Now a second trailer has been released along with the new movie poster.   Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, After Earth takes place on "Earth," but more than 1000 years into the future.  Will and Jaden play Cypher and Kitai Raige, soldiers who have crash landed on the abandoned planet and must figure out a way to survive in a world that has evolved to kill humans.  Also, Zoe Kravitz is slated to appear in the film. Chris Brown Goes On Club Rant Saying "F*ck Drake", Addresses Valet Drama In Cali & More Posted: 07 Mar 2013 04:02 PM PST Chris Brown is not having a good week in the PR department as he's allegedly fought with his bodyguard, cursed out a valet parking attendant and hopped on stage to deliver an anti-Drake rant.  Get the deets inside... Chris Brown just can't seem to catch a break.  To see just how nuts Chris' week has been, let's trace back his steps.  Last night, Chris hopped on stage at Emerson Theatre in Hollywood.  E! Online reports when the DJ started spinning Drake's song, "Started from the Bottom," Chris hopped on the mic and immediately told the DJ to stop playing the music. He told the crowd, "The DJ can play this s--t, but I want you all to know, F--k Drake!" and gave everyone the middle finger.  The rant "naturally" lead into a impromptu performance of "As You Were," "Turn Up the Music" and "Beautiful People." The DJ from that night tweeted this:     But before the anti-Drake rant, TMZ reports Chris went to a charity event at PINZ bowling alley in Studio City, CA. After the event ended, Chris attempted to get his car keys from the valet but was told he needed to pay $10. Sounds reasonable right? But once Chris found out that everyone else only paid $5--according to someone in his crew-- he felt like he was taken advantage of.  So this may explain why he cursed out the valet saying,  "Gimme my f*cking keys ... f*ck ten dollars. Gimme my keys ... we gonna turn this whole spot up ... I promise you."  After the threat to "turn the spot up," someone from Chris' entourage paid the ten bucks. And before the valet incident, there was a plane trip from Bermuda! Sources at E! say Chris had a fight with his bodyguard Big Pat on a prvate plane during a stoppver on the island for fuel.  The "fight" was so problematic that Pat reportedly flew home by himself...on JetBlue. It sounds like Chris needs a vacation from the spotlight.  Do we feel like CERTAIN media is targeting Chris for some foolish things?  Yes.  Should he go out of his way to not give them any reason to?  Probably. A$AP Rocky Does L'Uomo VOGUE + OKC Baller Russell Westbrook Does FLAUNT Magazine Posted: 07 Mar 2013 01:37 PM PST Rapper A$AP Rocky is getting constant shine in the fashion world.  And he's the newest cover subject of L'Uomo VOGUE.  Check it inside, plus NBA baller Russell Westbrook putting his flare for prints on display for FLAUNT magazine.... As he gears up for traveling the world with Rihanna for her upcoming Diamonds tour, "F*ckin Problem" rapper A$AP Rocky is rocking the cover of L'Uomo VOGUE's March 2013 issue.  And even though he placed #8 on MTV controversial Hottest MC's list, he hit up Power 106's Big Boy's Neighborhood to say he definitely deserved to be higher--esp. because no other rapper is covering VOGUE.  He also explained why he keeps these braids in his hair to prevent looking like "Cely from The Color Purple":   By the way, his government name is Rakim and since he believes those shoes are too big to fill, he switched up to his stage name.   And other fellas covering mags: OKC baller Russell Westbrook is known for his flair for prints and colors and eye brow raising fashion choices.  So now he's flaunting his style for FLAUNT magazine.  Of course.     The newly engaged baller is the first professional athlete to grace the mag's cover.  You feelin' it?   Photos: Nah Right/FLAUNT

VIDEO FAB: French Montana & Nicki Minaj's "Freaks" Posted: 07 Mar 2013 11:56 AM PST Nothing like a FREAKY Thursday afternoon. Check out the brand new explicit video for "Freaks" from French Montana & Nicki Minaj inside.... Bad Boy French Monatana has had a busy month.  From getting questioned by the cops in a fatal shooting after his concert in Philly, to folks exposing his relationship with Trina, to now releasing his brand new extra freaky video for "Freaks", the Moroccan born rapper is soaking up his shine. The Rico Love-produced dancehall track, off French's upcoming debut Excuse My French album (May 21), is set to Eif Rivera-directed visuals that reflect a big ass underground multi-room freaky dance party.  And Nicki Mnaj pops up spitting her verses in tight leopard pants, gold tape over her nipples and a tiny gold jacket covering pretty much nothing. Brian McKnight's "4th Of July" Single Posted: 07 Mar 2013 11:27 AM PST   R&B crooner Brian McKnight is hyping up the release of his 15th album More Than Words with his old-school flavored single "4th of July." But we're wondering....does he have "it"?  Decide if Brian can still floss the silky sound inside....   Brian McKnight caused quite the controversy last year when when his x-rated track "If You're Ready To Learn" went viral and showed that the G-rated songster had a freaky side. And with his first album in two years, More Than Words, due March 19, the singer manages to gives us those lush vocals we've come to love and still expose his naughty side.   And he continues with the controversial ish like what he recently said about another track on the album,  “I Didn’t Really Mean To Turn You Out.” He told Huff Post Black Voices: "...To kind of take people’s minds off the fact that I just really said that. Because we all been there like, “Girl, I told you, you can’t love this d*ck like that. I told you in the beginning.” [Laughs] It’s real tongue and cheek." Wow. But outside of his journey to the naughty side, Brian explained why he's still chugging along in a business that's changed drastically over the years: I really didn’t think I would have this much to say anytime soon. And when the label came to me to say, “would you like to do another record,” I said, “Well I got these sixteen songs sitting here, so let’s do it.” And that was pretty much it...I never stopped writing, it’s just the way that the business is now you just try to find a different model. But once I started writing I said to myself, “Maybe, I’ll do one more, let’s see what happens. Let’s see if the world is ready for another one.” So we’ll see. Lauren London & The Cast Of "The Game" GET FAB For The Season 6 PROMO Shots! Posted: 07 Mar 2013 10:34 AM PST "The Game" is BACK!  The BET show kicks off its sixth season with its 100th episode later this month.  And we've got the brand new sexy promo pics of the two new lead characters and the entire cast.  Check out Lauren London, Brandy, Hosea Chanchez and more inside... On March 26th, "The Game" returns to BET with a special one-hour premiere and new cast members.  Everybody's fave dysfunctional circle of football family & friends will face new drama in the lives of the Sabers and the Sunbeams. Now that Tia Mowry is out, the sexy Lauren London is IN.  On the premiere episode, we'll see how Derwin Davis (Pooch Hall) gets traded on Premiere Draft Day, and newcomer Bryce "Blue" Westbrook (Jay Ellis) steps in.  Since there are no promo pics for Pooch, and he said previously he was indeed returning to the show, it seems he may just be in the first episode or so. Here's what you can expect to go down on this season of "The Game": The season five finale ended with Tasha Mack in love, but will this love last forever when former flame Rick Fox returns to her life? Meanwhile, newlyweds Jason and Chardonnay are very much in love, but will Jason’s job get in the way of their honeymoon bliss? Tempted by his past demons, Malik is Malik 2.0 this year, but will he stay on track and maintain his sobriety? All this and more will be revealed in the new season of THE GAME.
