| Judge Commends Lindsay Lohan For "Doing Well" With Her Community Service Posted: 17 Jan 2012 01:20 PM PST We're gonna admit something: we're very surprised. So many years spent wasting her second chances, we didn't expect much from her this time around. We were pretty convinced she couldn't turn things around. We're glad to be proven wrong. This morning, Lindsay Lohan was in court to appear in front of her probation judge, Judge Stephanie Sautner, for a progress report. As LiLo completed her required community service on time and attended all mandated therapy sessions, she is more than on track in completing her probation requirements. In fact, the Judge was so impressed with her work to date, she gushed to Lindsay:
She really does, doesn't she? We're so impressed! At this point, Lindsay's next appearance is slated for February 22nd, by which time she is required to complete 15 more days of community service at the morgue and 5 more therapy sessions. If she can manage that, she has only one more cycle to go before being deemed a free woman ... a possibly the portrayer of Elizabeth Taylor. You can spend the evening with Courteney Cox! After many, many, MANY months of logisitcs, it turns out that Court and her Cougar Town crew are heading back to the alphabet network. Since Work It didn't exactly work out, the bosses at ABC have replaced it spot with the popular sitcom, which will return uesday, Feb. 14, at 8:30 p.m. Oh! So that's why nothing was said about it returning during midseason announcements. Can really talk about one show replacing another until the first one actually flops. Gotcha! We're happy for Courteney, but do you know who we are more excited for? Busy Phillips! Can we just talk about how she makes that show and how seeing her at all the awards shows with Michelle Williams has just made us miss her all the more! |

| A Golden Evening For Betty White & NBC! Posted: 17 Jan 2012 12:50 PM PST Everyone's favorite Golden Girl has made good on her promise to keep wowing people into her 90s. Last night, Betty White helped bring in some huge (and much needed) ratings for NBC with her birthday special and her new prank show, Off Their Rocker. The former averaged nearly 14 million total viewers and a 2.7 demo rating. The demo hung in tight for Betty's band of pranksters, by total viewers fell a smidge to 12.2 mil. We wanted to see the unbelievably desirable Michael Fassbender completely naked! But it looks like all we had to do was go back in time to get the goods!! In the 2008 film, Hunger, Michael dropped his pants and kept them off, mmmm.... Of course, we love variety so we'll just keep both Shame AND Hunger stills in our library now, ha! Tonight's brand-new episode of Glee promises to be twistier than an Auntie Anne's pretzel, so as you can imagine, we're just sitting here, twiddling our thumbs in nervous anticipation of what's to come. However, to ease the anxiety, we started watching some Glee promos, hoping to put the pieces of the story together for tonight and wouldn't you know it, we found a new one with some very exciting footage -- scenes from the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute episode! | Sean Penn Named An Ambassador For Haiti Posted: 17 Jan 2012 11:40 AM PST About time! It's not like he is down there all the time rebuilding towns, feeding starving children and all-around helping the country's morale or anything. The official announcement was made this weekend that Sean Penn has been given the title of ambassador to Haiti. On Saturday, he was presented the honor by the Haitian foreign minister Laurent Lamothe at the Cinema for Peace benefit at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. Sean graciously accepted the honor, pointing out that it will be nice to "change being called hey you (bleep), to hey Mr. Ambassador!" Ah! Such a sense of humor this guy has!
