His new show, Touch, raked in 12 million viewers during its early preview, scoring a very impressive 3.9! Touch retained 61% of American Idol viewers, making it the best dramatic retainer after Idol... like, ever. Good to know Keifer can still touch so many with his acting... bet he's celebrating now! |
| Not Good In An Election Year! Obama's State Of The Union Ratings Were Down! Posted: 26 Jan 2012 12:40 PM PST And when we tell you there was literally NOTHING else on to watch. Almost every network cancelled their programming for the evening to make way for the President's address ... and STILL he couldn't get the numbers he needed. That's a whomp, whomp situation right there! Though down 12% from last year (and 21% from his first year), President Barack Obama's State Of The Union address nabbed 37.75 million viewers. Most people watching the telecast on cable flocked to Fox News (3.8 million), while MSNBC and CNN garnered about a million less eyeballs (2.8 and 2.7 million, respectfully) But hey, if things work out the way we want them to, there's always NEXT year! As soon as Madge heard the news about Demi Moore's hospitalization, she called her to let her know she's there if Demi needs anything. We bet Demi felt really loved when her Madgesty called her to lend support. Apparently the two are super close even though they can't hang out all the time. But we guess it's like that star quote people kept saying a while ago... what was it... friends are like stars, they're all trying to outshine you until you're hospitalized?? No, not it? Hmm... Well anyways! They're so close, a source says Demi was seriously contemplating going to the Superbowl for Madonna's performance until she realized Ashton Kutcher was probably going too. Is she in a mood or is she in character??? Either way, she doesn't look to happy under there! Yesterday, the paparazzi stumbled upon the set of Burt Wonderstone and got their first look at Olivia Wilde in her full, super hero attire. We almost didn't recognize her at all and we even argued that, like the guy in the donkey suit to her right, there was a stunt double in the suit posing as her. But you can see it in the eyes -- that's Olivia alright -- but she doesn't look too happy. What? Like when she was a little girl, she never dreamed of starring a movie alongside Jim Carrey where she would be stuck in leather bondage all night long and then have to hit a man dress as a donkey pinata for candy? | Taylor Armstrong's New Book Will Give LOTS Of Domestic Abuse Details Posted: 26 Jan 2012 11:20 AM PST Sounds like this will be a very difficult read. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Taylor Armstrong will present LOTS of details about the domestic abuse she suffered at the hands of her late husband Russell Armstrong in her new book Hiding From Reality. Here is an excerpt of Russell's horrendous verbal abuse of Taylor from the book:
In the book, Taylor also writes about an incident where Russell accuses her of sleeping with a Chippendales dancer and then hits her so hard that she ends up in the hospital:

The Los Angeles City Attorney has ordered all drug references made in the 911 call regarding Demi Moore's seizure-like situation and hospitalization be removed before the call is made public. According to them, it's for patient privacy... Sigh... we'll guess we'll never have confirmation on what really happened that day... We bet Madonna might know! Check out the just-released teaser for the upcoming, three-part second season reunion episode, during which castmember Kim Richards, who interviewed separately from the rest of the cast, candidly admits for the first time that she was being treated for alcoholism during her recent stint in rehab (above)! And of course, there's some other gems of HIGHlarity from Brandi Glanville throughout, and some pretty shocking new information from poor Taylor Armstrong regarding the abuse she endured at the hands of her now-deceased husband, Russell. Just as we felt the movie Drive should have been nominated for Best Picture, we're also of the opinion that the movie's stars deserved a little recognition from the Academy this year. And we're not the only ones... Russell Crowe took to his Twitter yesterday after hearing that Ryan Gosling and Albert Brooks got snubbed by the Oscars and shared his two cents with the world. Needless to say, he's not very pleased that their performances have been overlooked from this critically acclaimed picture. He wrote:
