| Michonne Has ARRIVED! Check Out An AWESOME Sneak Peek Of The Walking Dead's Third Season! Posted: 09 Jul 2012 01:10 PM PDT Oh man! With the closing scene of the second season finale, we knew she was coming, and that it was going to be awesome! But THIS is just seriously even cooler than we could EVER anticipated! On the upcoming third season of The Walking Dead, fan-favorite Michonne is finally making the leap from the comic book series to the small screen, and we're getting our first taste of the character, played by Danai Gurira, in a preview clip from the premiere episode, coming sometime in October of 2012! Ch-ch-check her out as she slices and dices three zombies in under a minute (above)! Hot damn! We haven't seen that kind of katana-sword wielding since Uma Thurman in Kill Bill! Between this and the integration of the Prison/Governor storylines for the coming year, we think that we're going to be in for a real treat! What do U think? | Man Eats Doo-Doo While High On Bath Salts Posted: 09 Jul 2012 12:50 PM PDT Yuck! The latest tale of bath salts woe is certainly not as gruesome as the Miami face eating incident -- which authorities eventually discovered had nothing to do with the drug -- but it's really effing DISGUSTING! A 21-year-old Georgia male was arrested on July 3 after snorting "a lot" of bath salts and once police were finally able to subdue him, they realized he had been eating poop! BARF! Granted, the more horrifying part of the story is the fact that Matthew Hammond's mom had to call the cops because he was "walking around out of his mind, armed with a knife." Forget a complete stranger. Can U imagine seeing your friend or relative behaving this way? The arresting officer was spared the vomit-worthy visuals and didn't have to witness this guy eating the feces, but he sure smelled it. After taking Hammond into custody, police noticed a "strong odor of excrement emitting from his breath" and saw "feces in his mouth and on his teeth." Sorry you had to read that, but we don't want anyone else doing this drug. If you're considering taking the risk because you think you can handle it...DON'T! As we've seen over and over again lately, nobody knows what a human being is capable of after they ingest bath salts and no one should want to find out either. | Archie Comics Are Going To GLEEK Out! Posted: 09 Jul 2012 12:40 PM PDT WHAT?! This is INCREDIBLE news! The Archie comics have already shown how up with the times they are by introducing the openly gay character Kevin Keller - and then MARRYING him - and now, they've gone one step further by announcing that the beloved Riverdale teens will be meeting up with some other famous famous in cartoon form...from Glee! That's right, according to co-chief executive officer Jon Goldwater, a crossover between the smash series and the comic book is set for the end of this year or early 2013, and that staff writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will be penning the story! He explains:
AH-MAZING! Obviously, both parties respect the others' work a great deal, and we just know that this means that GREATNESS is coming with this cross-over! But what kind of greatness, you may wonder? | Brad Pitt's Bro Defends His Mom's Anti-Gay Opinions On Today Posted: 09 Jul 2012 12:10 PM PDT Brad Pitt's mommy dearest made headlines last week after making her not-so-accepting views of the LGBT community known. In case you missed it, she wrote a letter to her local newspaper which encouraged readers to vote for Mitt Romney because of his opposition to same-sex marriage. Obvi, we weren't thrilled and since Brad is a major supporter of equality, we bet he wasn't either. However, the woman is a faithful conservative Christian and we all know how hard it can be to shake some sense into that crowd. We have our beliefs, they have theirs, but we wish we could all compromise when it comes to treating every human being with fairness. Either way, Brad describes his mother, Jane, as a "very, very loving -- very open, genuine" woman who "wants everyone to be happy." His brother, Doug, seems to agree and defended her right to express her views in the manner she did. While sitting down with Matt Lauer on The Today Show to discuss his Virgin Mobile viral video, the Missouri businessman casually commented his mother's controversial statement. He not only points out (above) that "moms and dads and kids agree to disagree all over the world," but that "there can be healthy discussion when people disagree with you." This is true and we LOVE to discuss the importance of LGBT rights because that's the only way there will be any progress on the issue. Having healthy discussions is how enlightenment works. Sometimes we feel like we're wasting our breath because there are those people that will reject it at all cost, but most people will come around once they are presented with a logical argument. We believe Mrs. Pitt is everything her sons say she is, so we have full faith that she will eventually open her "very loving" mind to the idea of same-sex marriage and equality for all. |
| Controversial Princess Diana Documentary Has Been Squashed Posted: 09 Jul 2012 11:50 AM PDT We bet the Royal Family is breathing a sigh of relief upon hearing this news. A documentary that investigated a possible cover-up of Princess Diana and Dodi Al-Fayed's 1997 death has been permanently shelved just weeks before it was set to hit theaters. Unlawful Killing was produced by Al-Fayed's billionaire father and purchased by distributors at the Cannes Film Festival last year. Controversy surrounds the flick because it paints a negative picture of Prince Charles' family by alleging a Royal cover-up and conspiracy to keep key facts from the media. While we're sure the world would have been slightly intrigued to see what dirt director Keith Allen dug up, the film's distributors required global insurance coverage to protect themselves from lawsuits, which they were unable to secure in the U.K. and France. As a result, producers have decided that the film is unreleasable and have said in a statement:

| RoboCop Is On The Way…Here's A Viral Video To Prove It! Posted: 09 Jul 2012 11:20 AM PDT Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Hugh Laurie, Abbie Cornish and Joel Kinnaman aren't scheduled to start shooting the RoboCop reboot until September, but producers are already teasing fans. A viral video (above) has hit the web in the form of a mock commercial for Omnicorp -- the company that creates the technology so that Alex Murphy can be turned into the world's first robotic police officer. The fictional advertisement suggests that a futuristic New York is patrolled by flying robotic drones and giant walking guns that attacked the Ewoks in Return of the Jedi. We last heard that Dr. House is playing the evil boss of the ominously-named defense company and it sounds like he's going to have quite the grip over the Big Apple by the time RoboCop is created. Fans of the classic sci-fi franchise can't miss this one, so ch-ch-check out the first teaser for the upcoming remake! |
