A New Beyoncé On American Idol? Why Hopefuls Should Pay Attention To Her!

Is it really all about the singing?

Does American Idol really want to recognize the vocal talent... or do they just crave a great entertainer??

That was the big question at the judges' Q & A session Wednesday night. And PerezHilton.com was on site when a fan got real and asked Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Randy Jackson what finding the next Idol is REALLY about!!

To our delightful surprise, there were some GREAT and HONEST answers:

Nicki: "It's about diversity. There are four of us, and our collective vote [decides at first], but then (with a matter of fact face and a head nod) it's up to America. America will decide if they want a big singer or if they want an entertainer!"

Randy: "Honestly, I want both. And I think you can have both. Look at Beyoncé. I think Beyoncé has it all. So I think and I KNOW you can have it all, and that's what I want!"

So you've heard it now, contestants! Y'all better channel your hand-wavin' Queen Bey if you want a chance to win. LOL!

But don't invoke her too hard... copycats ain't cute! And later, Mariah even said:

"It's difficult to compare legends to a brand new artist, because they may have an inkling of that person, but they'll never be that person."

Truth! And we think we all know a few examples of pop culture proving that theory!

So if you want to win Idol, you gotta bring it like Bey but stay true to yourself. After all, Randy said the top three qualities in a winner are uniqueness, unbelievable talent, and star power.

Note that UNIQUENESS came first!

And most importantly, even when you pair originality and drive together, that needs to stem from a true love for the art of performance to really make it as an Idol. SexXy aussie Keith made sure to express his feelings on what comes after the birth of a star, saying:

"Staying relevant [is key], [You have to] make art that stays with the times [without] losing yourself in the process."

Got all this down, hopefuls??

We're cheering for you! This season really has the potential to be one of the best seasons yet. But a lot of that lies in the contestants themselves, and we really hope they bring the whole package like Bey and the performer judges do! They've got to or else!

Paris Hilton Denied Entry At People's Choice Awards!!

It looks like Paris Hilton wasn't the People's Choice after all!

The former Simple Life star had no trouble getting into the People's Choice Awards at the start of the night.

But then, bored as usual, Paris decided to step out of the ceremony for a quickie cigarette with her boytoy River Viiperi.

And security wouldn't let them back in!

Didn't they recognize her??

The hot couple isn't used to being denied entry to clubs around the world, but this was one party they were going to have to skip!

Britney Spears & L.A. Reid Knew Their X Factor Fate Before Quitting!

Britney Spears has made her X Factor exit and now, producers are left to figure out -- yet again -- who the panel will consist of!

However, it seems like those connected to the show saw it coming and it sounds like Britney beat them to it!

Reportedly, producers and Simon Cowell were already talking about a Brit Brit-less panel for the show's third season and even decided a week ago that she wouldn't be included!

An insider revealed:

"Britney did her best, and it's fair to say she was a lot better in the show — and especially during live shows — than many critics had expected or predicted, but the writing was always on the wall."

Another source said that it was "obvious" that L.A. Reid and Britney wouldn't be returning and the now-former judges were aware of it!

Now the producers and Simon are left to figure out who will replace the two judges for season three... and they don't have too much time to decide!

Wonder who's in the running this time around???

Lindsay Lohan's Club Brawl Victim Claims Fight Masterminded By Michael! Daddy Lohan Blames Dina!

It's an accusation tongue twister of the WORST kind...

And our tongues are in knots after the latest cray cray Lohan family drama!

Earlier this week, Dina Lohan alleged her former husband Michael Lohan had raped and abused her during their marriage.

Now, SOMEONE claiming to be Tiffany Mitchell, the West Palm Beach psychic who Lindsay Lohan allegedly punched in the face back in 2012, tweeted a series of accusations at daddy Micahel Lohan, claiming HE set up the whole nightclub fight!!!

The person behind the brand new Twitter account posted:

BUT, Michael is calling the account BULLPOOP (of course) and believes his wife is behind the whole thing!!

Michael stated Thursday:

"This will be investigated. If it turns out Dina is behind this, this will go legal. I sent her a cease and desist letter the other day. I will have to expand that to 'do not harass or have any contact personally or through a third party.'"

Holy guacamole!

Forget Lindsay needing rehab or jail, throw Michael and Dina into a facility together and let's see what happens! Because obviously they both need SERIOUS counseling.

And if that Twitter account IS legit, it could add a whole new factor to Lindsay's legal issues!

Lilo, we feel for you, we really do.

No one should have to grow up around such obvious CRAZINESS!

The royal palace is still keeping the sex of the baby on lockdown, but if Prince William and Kate Middleton do have a girly bundle of joy, the babe will get the title of princess unlike it has been done in the past.

Adorbz!

Typically, a baby girl born to a royal couple ended up being called 'Lady,' but Queen Elizabeth II is getting with the times and updating those stuffy, old standards.

We already knew there were plans to change succession laws that could accommodate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge having either a boy or girl first, and now this news is getting us psyched!

A notice of this change was printed in the London Gazette:

"The Queen has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 31 December 2012 to declare that all the children of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales should have and enjoy the style, title and attribute of royal highness with the titular dignity of Prince or Princess prefixed to their Christian names or with such other titles of honour."

Loves it!

Can you just imagine Wills and Kate with a fashion-forward little princess?!

Despite the fact that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had a romantical NYE together in London, it looks like there's trouble in paradise once again as the two are reportedly now fighting like cats and dogs!

Although, is KStew the cheating dog in this whole mess??

Who knows what they could possibly fighting about now... infidelity, trust issues, who's taking the trash out next week... the point is, Robsten is getting mighty rowdy in London, with sources saying that their relationship is skating on thin ice once again:

"Things with them aren't good. They've been fighting a lot. Rob isn't happy. It's just a matter of time before he ends this."

So, guess those whisperings of the two possibly looking for a house in South London are just a figment of KStew's imagination then, huh? It's so hard to keep up with these tormented lovahs!

Kim Kardashian Lays Off The Pizza, Hits The Gym During Pregnancy

While most potential mothers can't wait for the excuse to gorge themselves on burgers and milkshakes for two, Kim Kardashian is way more concerned with being health conscious during her pregnancy.

Kanye West's babymama isn't hitting the gym and opting for fruity smoothies to be a bang-worthy knocked up babe, but instead she is doing it for the health of the baby and herself!!!

Imagine that!

Kimmy's trainer, Tracy Anderson, said:

"She's doing it with caution and she's listening to her body; she's not overdoing anything. [She's] such a great example - I'm so proud of her. She's not interested in being like, 'I want to look hot during my pregnancy' or anything like that. Just like, 'I want to be healthy, I want to take care of myself and the baby...' She knows I'll get her back better than ever after [the birth]...She just seems to be totally on the right track, really healthy of mind and spirit, and totally ready to do this in the best way."

Tracy was responsible for sister Kourtney Kardashian's 44 pound drop after baby Penelope, so we're sure the reality TV goddess is in great hands!!

We couldn't envision her pregnancy any other way seeing as we all know Kim is a hustla' and perfectionist by nature! How do you think the Kardashian empire stays afloat?!

That is going to be one strong Armenian-Black tot!
