We are TOTALLY BUGGING THE EFF OUT, you guys! Broken up engagements aside, we have long said that 2013 will most certainly be the year of the Brit Brit! Between her new Las Vegas residency and upcoming album, it's no secret that gurlfriend is planning to follow-up the Femme Fatale tour and X Factor gig with A VENGEANCE, and according to recent reports, her longtime bestie and collaborater will.i.am is already hard at work producing tracks for her latest musical effort! But that is NOT ALL, folks! In fact, it appears the Black Eyed Peas frontman is not yet finished perfecting the glory that is Scream & Shout...and has enlisted the help of some SERIOUS talent to not only lay down some beats for its REMIX, but appear in ANOTHER, brand new music video! YEAH. We're talking Lil' Wayne, Diddy, Waka Flocka Flame, and Hit-Boy ALL joining will and our beloved Lady Spears to Scream & Shout some more...and the finished product may ALSO make an appearance in the new Beats by Dre commercial scheduled to air during the Super Bowl! Seriously, seems like Justin Bieber looks like old, crusty, unwanted news to Selenita who was spotted out shopping with some friends in Beverly Hills. The actress was positively perky and fresh as she bundled up for chilly weather. Considering how she was looking, we'd say things have turned around for her! | Justin Bieber & One Direction's Music Make Us All Better People?! Posted: 25 Jan 2013 11:08 AM PST INTERESTING! Ummmmmm... we love pop music but really?! A "scientific" study researching music's mental effect on adolescents followed a group of 300 12-16 year-old kids in the Netherlands for four years... And apparently the researchers found that those who listened to mainstream pop -- music like Justin Bieber and One Direction -- were generally "well behaved" (whatever THAT means!), while those who preferred music like hip-hop, punk, metal, gothic, trans, and techno showed signs of "acting out" by the time they were 16. UMM we say again... what?! We don't like generalizations! There is definitely something OFF about this study! First of all there are too many variables in music and human action to prove any type of causal relationship like this. And also, what the eff does "acting out" even mean?! Experimenting? Isn't that just NORMAL teen behavior?! We think this study needs a thorough examination by multiple groups to be deemed "scientific!" Hey, maybe listening to Justin Bieber and One Direction's music really does turn us into "perfect" human beings who dare never to disobey society standards, while listening to more "alternative" styles has the detrimental outcome of creating the wild children of the world... The Academy announced today that during this year's Oscars they plan on setting up an extravaganza, honoring the best musical movies of the past decade which MAY include live performances from the film casts of Chicago, Dreamgirls and Les Misérables!!! A spokesperson revealed:
We had already heard that the Les Mis actors might be hitting the Oscars stage, but THIS sounds even MORE incredible!
