MOVIE FAB: Alicia Keys & Jennifer Hudson AT SUNDANCE + A "Betty & Coretta" SNEAK PEEK Posted: 18 Jan 2013 09:04 AM PST   Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson were seen at the Sundance Film Festival recently.  Find out what they were promoting inside and watch a sneak peek of Mary J. Blige & Angela Bassett in "Betty & Coretta."   Singer Alicia Keys appeared alongside director George Tillman and actress Jennifer Hudson at the "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete" premiere during the 2013 Sundance Film Festival at Library Center Theater in Park City, Utah yesterday. The ladies kept it fab in the snowy city as they premiered Alicia's new movie. The film (produced by Alicia Keys) tells the story of two inner-city kids who are forced to fend for themselves over the summer after their mothers are taken away by authorities. In the film, Jennifer Hudson breaks from her "good girl" image and stars as a character with a heroin addiction. Jen spoke about her role saying, "I've never had a drink before, I've never been drunk, unsober, in my entire life… I would never get a tattoo! It could not have been the furthest thing from myself." The film also stars "Smash" star Jordin Sparks.   And Alicia also wrote the film's movie score.  Of course.   Watch Jen discuss the film here:     And coming to the small screen....   Mary J. Blige and Angela Bassett star as Dr. Betty Shabazz and Coretta Scott King in Lifetime's newest movie 'Betty & Coretta' debuting February 2nd at 8PM EST. DATE NIGHT: Amar'e & Alexis Studemire BOO'D UP In London Posted: 18 Jan 2013 08:04 AM PST   Amar'e Stoudemire has turned his Knicks trip to London into a lovefest with his new wife Alexis.  And we've got the pics of the twosome on their boo'd up tip inside.... While the NY Knicks are parlaying in Londontown to play an exhibition game against the Detroit Pistons, the Knicks wives and kids traveled along with the team so everyone could have some fab QT on the town. Newlyweds Alexis & Amar'e Stoudemire (who is looking damn good in this suit) hit up the Rose Club in London last night after the game. And the two have been tweeting pics from their sightseeing and high tea time: Before the two hit up the Chelsea football (soccer for us) game, Alexis tweeted that she was loving spending time with her hubby.  Fab times. Karrueche Tran LAUNCHES "The Kill" With Akon Posted: 18 Jan 2013 07:11 AM PST Karrueche Tran hosted a launch party for "The Kill" last night with celebs like Akon in attendance.  And even Lil Wayne's baby moms Sarah Vivan.  See pics inside and find out how much rapper T.I. wants for his next recording deal.   "The Kill" designer Karrueche Tran was seen heading into Vanquish in Atlanta last night where she hosted a new launch party for her Chris Brown-assisted label "The Kill." Ms. Tran smoked hookah with friends while rocking an animal-print bra top and a tie-dyed wrap dress. Akon was among the celebs who celebrated the launch with Karrueche. Sarah Vivan, one of Lil' Wayne's baby mamas, also attended the party.  Model/Vixen Sheneka Adams co-hosted the party along with Jacob York.   Karrueche has said that Yoko Ono is one of her fashion muses.  Obvi.  We just can't decide how we feel about this dress....   And in music news... Now that his 10-year deal with Atlantic Records has expired, Trouble Man rapper and Atlanta native T.I. is shopping for a new record deal...and he comes with a $75M price tag. So what would $75 million get you?  It comes with 3 albums; 10-20 percent of publishing; touring, merchandise, film and TV rights; Corporate endorsement deals; and exclusive signing of all Grand Hustle artists.  As an artist who's proven himself in the game for a number of years (and one of the only rappers who could still sell records while locked up) Tip is pretty confident that someone will match his price or come pretty close as he's already taken meetings with Dr. Dre (on behalf of Interscope) and Jay-Z (for Roc Nation).  Also Sony's put a $50 million dollar deal on the table and Universal is interested too.  It must be nice to have those kind of options.

Wiz Khalifa as they headed to their car after shopping at Bel Bambini in Beverly Hills.  And Amber looks like she's about to drop a load any second now.  At least she manages to still look pretty good even if that belly looks painful as all hell. VIDEO FAB: Tamar Braxton's "Love & War" Video Posted: 17 Jan 2013 04:48 PM PST Tamar Braxton has finally gotten her wish.  She finally dropped her debut video for her single "Love & War" on tonight's episode of "106 & Park."  Check out the romantic visuals inside....   The youngest Braxton sister is holding her own on her hit single "Love & War."  In the just released black & white video, shot at a fabulous home in the Hollywood Hills, Tamar has passionate love, arguments & love again with her leading man. In the Walid Azami-directed vid, Tamar floats from her bathtub, to her bedroom, to the kitchen, and finally to the beach.  All while going through an emotional roller caster with her man. The songstress told TheYBF.com on the set of the video, "The concept is about being vulnerable and being sexy. Pretty much about being in a relationship that you are trying to figure out. I'm wearing a very simple, very expensive sweatshirt. I’m chilling at the house, then me and my husband get in an argument. It's very narrative. We simply play out the lyrics of the song."   We bet her husbandger Vince Herbert will have no complaints about these visuals.  Check it below: Her album, Love & War, is currently set for release this year.

Shawty Lo Says "All My Babies' Mamas" NEVER Got A Chance + Nas Blames Vertigo On His Hectic Work Schedule Posted: 17 Jan 2013 01:30 PM PST   Shawty-Lo is speaking out about Oxygen dropping "All My Babies' Mamas" saying people never gave it a chance. Watch the interview inside and find out what Nas blamed his hospital visit on. Shawty-Lo is speaking up about Oxygen stopping development on "All My Babies' Mamas"  and he wants people to know it wasn't as bad as it sounded.  While appearing on Hot 107.9 in Atlanta, he spoke up about the critics saying, "They makin' their assumptions off a 13-minute trailer and this like the biggest news around the world right now and it's unbelievable." He continued, "The show wasn't about, we finna be fightin'....My show is not about no negative; it's a positive. But if they wanna see the show, sign a petition." For what it's worth, there's a new petition to get the show "green lighted" again (also on Change.org) and Shawty-Lo defended his life and his family saying, "It's a lot of fathers don't take care of one; I gotta deal with 11. I gotta deal with nine girls and two boys. Comin' up, we didn't have Thanksgiving, we didn't have Christmas, but if I had my father there, if I even had my mother there, I probably wouldn't have been that person I was in the streets." Um, ok.   In other music news... We told you earlier about Nas cancelling on "Live With Kelly & Michael" due to vertigo, and now he's opening up about the diagnosis.  He told ABC News that his extreme dizziness was due to a hectic work schedule.  "I'm good now.  When you don't really realize you're working so much -- whew! -- things happen."  He added,  "I knew exactly what it was when I started to feel it." Now, Nas is walking a straight line again so Life Is Good.  He also tweeted about becoming the new face of Hennessy's Wild Rabbit campaign as he performed a few concerts in NYC for the brand this week.

Solange Knowles PROMOTES "True" Release + Keri Hilson Gets Couples To "KISS AND TELL" Posted: 17 Jan 2013 01:03 PM PST Texas-turned-Brooklyn gal Solange Knowles is over in the UK promoting her TRUE EP while Georgia peach Keri Hilson hosted a Gillette event in Santa Monica.  See the ladies inside.....   Solange Knowles was seen heading into London hotspot XOYO where she promoted her True ep.  And rocking Miu Miu pants and looking like the savvy fahsionista that she is.   Solange, who'll soon trek across North America for a tour, recently tweeted about people who make rash criticisms of hipsters and their music without really know what they are talking about. "Some of these music blogs could actually benefit from hiring people who REALLY understand the culture of hip hop to write about hip hop. Like you really should know about deep Brandy album cuts before you are giving a "grade" or a "score" to any R&B artist." Solange loves her soap box.  By the way, we did enjoy the TRUE EP.  We want more.   And in Santa Monica.... Keri Hilson and Gillette asked a few Los Angeles couples to 'Kiss and Tell' in a live national experiment yesterday. Keri, who set out to prove whether ladies prefer a clean shaven kiss to a rough stubbled one, plans to reveal the results on Valentine's Day. And Miss Keri Baby came fully prepared to shave off the stubble of a few fans so they could pucker up for their kisses.    The singer/songwriter, who's working on a new album which will feature another Kanye West collaboration, must have gotten "the scoop" during a few of the kiss and tells as she tweeted a word of encouragement to men who are able to resist cheating on their girlfriends.  "I'm gonna end on this...I applaud any man who's capable of resisting all this temptation. Draya & The Game Get INKED UP For URBAN INK Magazine + Yandy & Mandeecees BLAST The Rumors Posted: 17 Jan 2013 12:03 PM PST Sexy VH1 stars Draya and The Game are covering the new issue of Urban Ink magazine.  And their fellow VH1 family, "Love & Hip Hop" stars Yandy & Mandeecees, are blasting the recent rumors about their future. Check out what they're working with inside... Not gonna lie.  These two look pretty hot on this Urban Ink cover.  Tattoo lovers Draya of "Basketball Wives LA" and The Game of "Married To The Game" are flossing their ink for the world to see. Mint Swim owner Draya is showing off one side of her torso on the cover while leaning up against rapper The Game.  And she's also got more where that came from: She tweeted a pic of her rose covered ASSets in her "Fine Ass Girls" clothing line.  Nice. And Game recently tweeted just how he felt bout his fellow VH1 fam stars on "Love & Hip Hop."  And he's NOT feeling them. The new Love & Hip Hop New York WACK AS FUCK ! Who r these b!tches ? Ha!  Our sentiments exactly.      But speaking of that cast, Yandy Smith and her baby's daddy Mandeecees have been hit with several rumors lately.  Yandy supposedly had her home raided by the Feds recently, Mandeecees ALLEGEDLY had inapproriate relations with a minor, according to unconfirmed reports, and now, it was reported that Yandy & Mandeecees had been kicked off the show. We reached out to the show's Executive Producer and Creator, Mona Scott Young.  And she tells TheYBF.com that there is no truth to the rumor.  The two are still a part of the cast.  So there you have it.

IS IT OFFICIAL?! Amber Rose SORTA Confirms She's Already MARRIED To Wiz? Posted: 17 Jan 2013 11:14 AM PST   Amber Rose called Wiz Khalifa "my husband" during a recent interview which has made folks believe they already got married! Or...is it just her pet name for her boo? See the interview inside and decide.... Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose made it no secret that they planned to get legally married before Amber gives birth (and will have a big actual wedding AFTER the baby).  And since it looks like she's due pretty soon, it makes sense that they could have eloped.  During a recent street interview with TMZ, she referred to Wiz as "my husband", so it's possible they've already gotten hitched.  On the other hand, Amber's been calling Wiz her "husband" since damn near the day they met.  So it could just be her pet term...of sorts. No "official" announcement has come out yet.  But who knows. See pics of the couple leaving dinner inside...   Carmelo Anthony and LaLa were in the Mayfair area of London last night were they dined out at Scotts Restaurant. La wore a pink fur jacket over a grey t-shirt and rocked a pair of thigh-high Louboutins over a pair of black leggings.   The couple seem to be weathering the storm just fine and moving past all the rumors of a split.  And Lala will be cheering for Melo as they play at the 02 Arena tonight against the Pistons. And Lala is wearing her ring again! Folks were up in arms when she was spotted ringless for NYE...but things have changed!
