HOSTESSES With The MOSTESS: Nicki Minaj, Monica And Lala Anthony HOST NYE PARTIES Posted: 01 Jan 2013 09:16 AM PST   Nicki Minaj, Monica and Lala Anthony are each starting off 2013 with a steady cash flow as they each hosted big New Year's Eve bashes. See where the ladies ended up and how they partied it up inside..... Beyonce and KimYe weren't the only chart-toppers who headed to Las Vegas for NYE. Rapper Nicki Minaj hosted a huge celebration at Pure Nightclub inside Caesars Palace Resort and Casino.  And she donned a shockingly simple (for her) gold metallic dress she likely had to have 10 men get her inside of, and her sparkling Louboutin pumps. Before her NYE bash, Nicki performed in Dubai where she talked about her 2013 plans saying, "I’ll get started really quickly on my clothing line...Then I’ll get started working on my third album.  We might do a new video for I am Legit or High School so that’s something that’ll be fun.“ And with "American Idol" getting ready to start on January 16, Nicki's on her hustle and staying away from drama saying, "...And about Mariah Carey we are two adult women and we had a disagreement, not that big a deal. I think the world has made it into a bigger deal than it really is.” Also, Nicki and her ample ASSets will also be going solo as MAC's VIVA GLAM girl in February when she's also launch her new lavender colored lipstick for the company.   Down in Pembroke Pines, Florida...... Monica was seen hosting a party at Cafe Iguana Pines.   Monica's flew solo as she kicked it with her friends.  Before she made a mad dash to Miami to kick it at friend & fellow basketball wife LaLa's party.   Over in Miami..... Lala Anthony hosted a NYE party at Room Service on Miami beach. Monica rushed over from her own party and chilled with La and Rico Love. Evelyn Lozada EXPLAINS Why She Went On A Pre-NYE "Date" With Her Ex Chad Johnson Posted: 01 Jan 2013 08:34 AM PST Evelyn Lozada had the internet all a-buzz a few days ago when she was spotted out on a date with her ex-husband Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson.  Only days after she joined him in court to drop her restraining order against him after their domestic violence dispute.   Check out her explanation for their "date" inside... Oh Evelyn.  Apparently she seems to have a bit of guilt harbored for going on a date with Mr. Johnson.  So after the above pic surfaced on twitter a few days ago, folks had some things to say.  And after she defended her girl Rihanna being back with Chris Brown, she spent some time defending herself too. On her website, Ev posted the above pic and explained that she's not officially back with Chad, and she was actually attending dinner with Chad's daughter.  She says she and Chad are both in separate counseling.  Of course.  Here's her blog post in full: I wanted to wish you a happy and safe New Year and take time to address a few rumors and unanswered questions about last night. It seems as though things have gotten a wee bit out of control. I attended a dinner with Chad’s daughter, not only because I love baby girl like my own, but to support Chad and his fan appreciation dinner. While at the dinner, several photos popped up on the Internet of Chad and I holding hands, while in the process of blessing the food. The blogs made last night seem as though, we walked hand and hand into the restaurant announcing a reunion, which wasn’t the case. I care for Chad, we are friends and we love one another, however, we are still separated, not living under the same roof and working on ourselves because we have a long way to go. This is a normal and realistic process for anyone and I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I know God holds it and I’m taking things one day at a time. I appreciate the love from so many of you and right now I’m still working on becoming a better person. Chad and I are attending therapy separately, meeting with a Life Coach and trying to figure out how to work on our individual selves and navigate through this entire ordeal. Kanye West & Kim Kardashian CELEBRATE Kim's BABY BUMP At VEGAS NYE Party! Posted: 01 Jan 2013 07:54 AM PST Kanye West and his future baby mama Kim Kardashian ushered in 2013 with a little Vegas flair last night.  See pics of the proud parents-to-be celebrating with 'Ye's G.O.O.D. Music cohort John Legend and his fiancee' Chrissy Teigen inside..... Kanye West and Kim Kardashian rang in 2013 with a kiss at 1OAK inside the Mirage Hotel Las Vegas where the couple schmoozed with John Legend and his fiancee Chrissy Teigen.  And Kim showed off her barely-there 3 months along baby bump.   And they seemed to be in their own little romantic world just 1 day after announcing their parents-to-be status.  The couple made headlines around the world over the holidays when they revealed that Kim (who's still technically married) will give birth to the couple's first child this summer (after the baby was reportedly conceived near the Vatican in October during their romantic Euro trip). Kim, who earned a reported $300K for hosting the NYE bash, covered her curves in a sheer lace dress by Welsh designer Julien McDonald. While we can expect to see tons of baby bump photos as Kim reportedly thinks being "pregnant is great and cute," she's already supposedly told friends that baby Kimye will NEVER be featured on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," and there won't be a spin-off about her giving birth either.  So she says... So how is Kris Jenner going to handle all of this?  Sources are already speculating that she'll want to sell photos of the baby to the highest bidder, while others think Kanye will want to go the "Blue Ivy" route and reveal the photos in a very controlled way on his own website.     One thing we know for sure, the day isn't over yet but the couple and their baby is already the biggest story of the year (so far).  Congrats to Kanye and Kim. BEYONCE Gets BIG Hair & New Shiny Looks For Private NYE 2013 Concert At The WYNN Las Vegas! Posted: 01 Jan 2013 07:11 AM PST   It was a huge $4 million night (her reported cut) for Beyoncé Knowles as she took over the stage at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas last night for New Year's Eve 2013.  For 700 very lucky audience members, Bey put on a private invitation-only show.  And we've got her shiny pics inside... With her hubby Jay-Z across the country back in Brooklyn performing, Beyonce took the stage to help Vegas concert goers usher in the new year.  And she looked fab while doing so. But first, she left a New Year's message for her fans on her site:   The "Countdown" diva rocked her classic big curls and a few new bright & shiny looks for the occasion.  She posted one striped look (above) on her Instagram account (that just reached 1 mill followers) and we've got a few more:   We're loving thick Bey these days. When she changed into a bright yellow look, Blue Ivy's mom shed a tear or two during her performance. Still shimmering and shaking. Smith talked to the NY Times about his love of tattoos. Find out what he said inside and get the deets on Kenya Moore's t-shirt line with all her -isms inside.... J.R. Smith, the tattoo-covered NY Knicks star, spoke to the NY Times about his love of tattoos and what they mean to him.  J.R., who's linked to "LAHH ATL" star K. Michelle (who has a few tatts herself) revealed that he uses the ink to tell his stories.  Here are the highlights: Q. What was the first tattoo? A. A picture of me dunking. I was 15. Me and my sister both got one. Q. Do you keep track of how many tattoos you have? A. I lost count. Q. How many did you have before you think you lost count? A. It was around 70-something. Q. What does it mean to you to have your family members be a part of your body art? A. It means everything. That’s why I have them. Q. Do you have one guy do all the work, or is it different people? A. It’s different people. Q. Do you have a general thought process in deciding what to get next? A. No, I never know what I’m going to get until I get to the tattoo parlor. Q. How many tattoo parlors do you think you have been in? A. Probably a thousand. I’ve been to so many where I didn’t get a tattoo. Sometimes I watch or go in to see what’s new. It really depends on how I feel. Q. Which tattoo took the longest? A. My back. Q. How long was that? A. It took a day to do the outlining. I didn’t finish it until a few years later. Q. Were you excited when it was done? A. I wasn’t really excited. I was actually kind of mad because I wanted to do so much more stuff to it, but I had no more space. Q. Is there one tattoo that you wish you could remove? A. I love all of my tattoos. Q. Were you always fascinated with tattoos? When did it start? A. I actually hated tattoos. I told myself I would never get like this. Q. When did it all change? A. Once I got one, I was addicted. Q. Was the first tattoo painful? A. No. It’s never been an issue until I went to my legs. There is no fat on my legs, so it hurts more. Q. What was the best reaction you had from someone about a particular tattoo? A. My mom cried when she saw her face on my chest. Q. What does the “Through the Fire” tattoo mean? A. I’ve been through hell. Q. What are the dates on your wrists? A. They are my grandparents’ births and deaths. Q. What do you remember most about your grandparents? A. Hard-working. Disciplinarians. Q. Do you think you have a bigger, or different, fan base compared with most N.B.A. players’ because of your tattoos? A. Yeah, I think they like the way I look. It’s kind of like a fashion statement now to some people, but it’s a lifestyle to others. Q. What is it for you? A. For me, it’s a lifestyle.   And on the sales front.... Kenya Moore isn't fazed by the whole "alleged" "fake relationship" drama on "RHOA" as her popularity continues to soar. The "Gone With The Wind" fabulous diva is trying to capitalize on her social media popularity by launching a new t-shirt line featuring some over her most famous sayings from season five of the hit series. Kim K. Gives Statement On Having Kanye West's Baby: "We Wish His Mom & My Dad Could Be Here To Celebrate..." Posted: 31 Dec 2012 10:20 AM PST Kanye West is officially a dad-to-be.  And his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, just gave a statement on behalf of the couple on expecting their first child together.  Check it inside... Kim & Kanye are head over heels about their new baby on the way.  The twosome (pictured above backstage at Ye's Revel concert right after the on-stage announcement) were all smiles last night as the news hit the media. Kim, now 3 months pregnant, just posted a statement to her own website expressing their happiness, saying they only wish Kanye's mother and Kim's father were there to celebrate as well: It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Well isn't that special. The next stop for the expectant parents--Las Vegas, of course.  Kim was already slated to host a New Year's Eve party tonight at 1Oak.  And she has no plans to cancel.   Pic: Twitter
