Ne-Yo worked out at the beach yesterday before dining with his fiancee Monyetta Shaw. See pics of Ne-Yo flexing his physical & romantic muscles inside....
Ne-Yo was spotted toning up his muscles yesterday with an L.A. beach workout. The crooner clearly likes to stay in shape for his constant concert travels. While his trainer was there for the boost the "Champagne Life" singer worked on his upper body strength with a few pull-ups.
He's also "working out" in the studio with Beyonce but can't speak too much about the project after being sworn to secrecy by Jay-Z. He said, "I can't say what kind of vibe. I can't. I can't give it away. I've been sworn to secrecy. Come on! Jay-Z is not a person you want mad at you! I got to be quiet!"
Later, he spent the evening making up for the calories and fat he burned off earlier in the day with a dinner at Nobu where he was joined by fiancee Monyetta Shaw. And she was rocking her huge diamond ring of course (atop).

Actor Djimon Hounsou was spotted shopping with his son Kenzo and the little one's sisters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee Simmons yesterday. See their pics inside...
Fresh from their vacation in St. Barts, siblings Kenzo Lee Hounsou, Ming Lee, who turns 13 this month and Aoki Lee Simmons, 10, were spotted out with Amistad actor Djimon Hounsou for a little post-holiday shopping in Beverly Hills, CA.
It's nice to see that despite his split from Kimora, Djimon is still involved in the lives of his stepdaughters, though we guess can't really say "stepdaughters" since we now know the two weren't really married. It's DJ D-Nice! Last year, we broke the news that D moved on from his marriage with actress Melinda Williams to Global Hue VP and heir Kelli Coleman (she was previously on the BET show "Harlem Heights" as well). The 1 and a half year old baby girl made a rare appearance on her dad's Instagram page where he simply said "Growing Up." She's precious! Awwww.....

A very cheerful Brandy took some time before her NYE performance in Vegas to talk about the moment Ryan Press popped the question, her wedding plans and even offered parenting advice for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West over the holidays. Watch the interview inside.... Singer Brandy, who performed on Dick Clark's Rockin New Year's Eve, chatted with PopStopTV right before her performance where she opened about the moment Ryan popped the question. Although she knew getting engaged to then-boyfriend Ryanwould eventually happen (the twosome are pictured above back in L.A. yesterday) , she said, "Your imagination does the moment no justice....I kept saying 'Oh my God' so many times I forgot to say yes." Of course....she eventually said yes and now she's basking in the moment. “I’m very happy. I’m definitely on cloud 11. At one point I gave up on love, so to have this feeling and for it to feel like the first time with the person I feel like God has created for me to be with, it’s just magical and I want it to stay like this.” And she also revealed the wedding will be local. “We have a lot of homies that probably won’t come if we do a destination wedding. I’ve definitely been imagining it and thinking about what it’s gonna be like.” And she even offered a bit of parenting advice to parents-to-be Kim (who used to date her brother Ray-J) and Kanye saying, "The key to being a good parent is to remember that you were once a child." Rihanna & Chris Brown are back in L.A. after their quick trip to the ivory coast during Christmas time to wrap up Chris' Carpe Diem tour. And after waking up together--and tweeting about it from bed--on New Year's Day, the twosome did normal-person activities yesterday like grabbing some slurpees from a quickie mart.
Peep the pics inside, plus Rihanna's new Barbados tourism ad.... Sometimes you just need a slurpee to complete your day. Rihanna, who was rocking a cropped sweatshirt from Chris' Black Pyramid line, was spotted arriving to a mart with Chris to grab herself some snacks. And she was nice enough to stop and take a pic with a fan:
Chick was really trying to get it in with the pics it seems.
The two drove off to mind their business and do what they do.
Breezy showed off his Emmit Smith ES22 Reebok re-releases for the quick trip.
Meanwhile, the first full ad Rihanna shot for her native island of Barbados has hit the net. As with all of her tourism campaign, running until the end of February, it was released exclusively in social media: Check out Rih Rih riding bikes and soaking in the beauty of her island with "Diamonds" playing in the background. Who wants to go now?

"Climax" singer Usher is set to take over the reins on NBC's "The Voice" and we have a first look at him in the judge's chair inside......
When NBC's "The Voice" returns to television on March 25, veteran judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will be joined be Shakira and R&B superstar Usher. Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo will be taking a leave for a while to work on their albums. For fans who are wondering how the crooner's suave style will translate on camera, he says, "My style is more military than anything because I'm all about the preparation. My style is to make them understand the seriousness of the craft and that they have the very best opportunity to be the greatest -- or the worst -- depending on how you take it." And Usher's new co-workers are thrilled to have him on board because he's already proved that he has what it takes to pic out talent (e.g. Justin Bieber) Adam Levine said, "As much as I hate to say this about another coach in the beginning, Usher has done what this show has yet to do - launch a superstar and that's our goal. That's something we want to do as an institution." Good luck Usher!

Skateboard loving rapper Lil' Wayne inked a new tattoo on his face recently. The new tatt reads "BAKED" and is the actual logo for Baker Skateboards. Clearly Weezy's solidifying his love for the sport. The new tatt joins a growing collection of logos and sayings that already adorn the rapper's face. Although it hasn't hit the airwaves (yet), a petition has already been launched to stop Shawty Lo's reality tv project ‘All My Babies' Mamas". Read the petition inside and watch the first episode of TLC's take on pastor's wives "The Sisterhood." The Oxygen network is fully-prepared to air what some folks think is one of the most rachet reality tv ideas yet....Shawty Lo's "All My Babies' Mamas" We told you earlier about the special which will feature the ATL-based rapper AND his 10 "baby mamas" and 11 kids and now there's a peition to get it yacked (before it starts) or at least to stop it from going further. Sabrina Lamb posted a peition on Change.Org saying,
So what do you think? Though, interestlngly, we can no longer find an air date, it is supposed to coming sometime soon. Will you be watching or protesting along with the thousands who've already signed the petition?
Also on television....
Producers in the mecca of Black Hollywood aka Atlanta have now trained their reality show cameras on the church with TLC's "The Sisterhood." As they attempt to answer the question "What does a pastor's wife have in common with a basketball wife" (Ok...that was actually our question), the show pits five first ladies against each other in the same vein of "BBW" and "RHOA." The question is whether this will shed a negative light on spirtuality or will people just see it for what it is....entertainment. It is a little interesting to see women arguing over the scripture instead of throwing cocktails (but that may just be this episode). We see Dominique putting one of the other ladies (Tara - who knows the Bible BETTER than anyone else so she thinks) in her place with a line like, "Now, if I’m talking to my spiritual daughter or I’m talking to another person I’m trying to convert, yes I’m going to give them a scripture. But I don’t need to give you the scripture, because you know the scripture!" Smh....it's not as shocking as Evelyn jumping over a table but....maybe its worth a look? Share your thoughts...

Looks like it will be a very HAPPY New Year for NeNe & Gregg Leakes. Because if her New Year's Day tweets are any indication, she and Gregg may be headed for a second trip down the aisle together.

Azealia Banks is kicking off the new year with a brand new song. Check out "BBD" inside, plus new music from Timbaland & Missy and a new video from ATLiens Big Boi & T.I. Azealia Banks goes ratchet trap star on her new "BBD" track. The "Bad B*tches Do It" song,Azalia says, is NOT the first single off her upcoming debut studio album Broke With Expensive Taste, out February 12th. The sassy fashion rebel posted the lyrics on her Tumblr account. And has recently spoken out about becoming anti-fashion and anti-rap...the two very things that got her here in the first place. But she says she's not interested in getting pigeonholed into those fickle IT-girl roles. Azealia told Hypetrak mag:
