Tyra Banks and Jada Pinkett were both spotted on the streets of New York while Halle Berry gave Nahla a big hug before she left for school in California yesterday. See the candids inside...
Jada Pinkett was seen leaving a taping of "Katie" in New York City yesterday where she chatted with talkshow host Katie Couric.
On the episode, which will air January 14, Jada spoke about her work to bring international awareness to human trafficking.
And she looked amazing in a yellow dress that hugged all of her curves.
Jada, who recently lent her voice to Madagascar 3, will soon be lending support on the red carpet to her hubby Will and son Jaden when they star in After Earth hitting the big screen this summer.

Hardworking media mogul Tyra Banks was spotted leaving an office building in New York city yesterday.
The supermodel, who was dressed to the nines in a stylish gray dress, black tights, black heels and a long winter coat, has been featured on the cover of several international glossies in the past few months proving that she's still at the top of her game.
Meanwhile, the model's "SMIZE" app is proving to be one of the most popular apps on the market as many picture takers (including men hoping to land on "ANTM") have downloaded it.
And in California.....
Halle Berry was seen taking daughter Nahla to school yesterday. Before they said goodbye, the mother and daughter were seen in a touching embrace.
Halle Berry is also among this year' nominees who will be highlighted on BET Honors 2013 (February 11) for their work in the community.

We, along with many other people, have indeed noticed just how much time LaLa & Carmelo Anthony have NOT been spending together over the last few months. La went from being at every game of Carmelo's and tweeting constant pics from their QT together....to barely even mentioning her husband for the past four months.
The newest reports inside about their marriage being allegedly on the rocks... Rumors have been taking off this week that there's trouble in Carmelo & LaLa Anthony's marital paradise. The fact they have not been seen together in four months (when they're usually attached at the hip in front of a camera), and La seemed to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve without her man....made folks believe something was going on. The "Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios" diss from Kevin Garnett to Melo Monday night (a game LaLa actually showed up to) was another drop in bucket that pushed breakup rumor further. Of course, LaLa's relatives maintain she has never slept with Kevin (and we don't believe she has either). But what people are really wondering about is, what's really going on with the Anthonys? The NY Post reports today:
And other sources tell the Post that La has been partying everywhere from Miami to NYC to L.A. solo dolo, and that's not rubbing Melo the right way. So they are rumored to be living apart:
Didn't her bestie Charlamagne da God tell her sometimes a man just wants his woman to be at home while he's out traveling for work? And not out constantly partying? He may have been right. Still, neither Melo or LaLa have spoken directly on any split or marital problems. So...

Ugh...these two are annoyingly adorbs. Singer/actress Jordin Sparks leapt into the arms of her equally talented boyfriend Jason Derulo for a Valentine's themed photoshoot for guys and gals looking for a few choice looks for a romantic evening. Jordin's high-fashion inspired looks featured pieces ranging from a pink Thakoon dress (above) to a Gary Graham sweatshirt (atop).

We think Jordin's super teased locks give her an edgy change-up to her usual cutesy look. Jason joked about Jordin's hair saying, “She transforms herself with it. I give her names for the people she becomes. When her hair is in a bun, I call her Simone. When it’s curly, I call her Chiquita.” Ha!
On Jordin: T-shirt, Splendid The couple seems super happy together and it's great that Jordin is right by her boo's side. The Oscar race for the 2013 Academy Awards is officially ON! We've got which YBF actors landed nominations and are gearing up for the biggest night in Hollywood.... This morning straight from Los Angeles, the nominations for the 2013 Academy Awards were announced. And Django Unchained racked up. No individual nods for Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington or Sam Jackson (who we do feel should have gotten a supporting nod). But the movie itself landed four total. Django is up for Best Original Screenplay, Best Motion Picture of the Year, Achievement in cinematography, and Achievement in sound editing. Christoph Waltz, who played Dr. Schultz, landed a nomination for Best Performance by an actor in a supporting role.
And a big congrats for Denzel Washington. He landed a nomination in one of the biggest categories for his role in Flight: Performance by an actor in a leading role.
And it's huge news for a new YBF chick on the scene. She's the youngest nominee in Oscar history at just 9 years old. She's Houma, Louisiana native Quvenzhané Wallis! For her movie Beasts of the Southern Wild, she landed a nomination in the biggest category. She's up for Best Performance by an actress in a leading role (Best Actress). The movie itself has 3 nods: Achievement in directing, Best Motion Picture of the Year and Best Adapted Screenplay. Congrats all around! The fabulously toned chick was on hand to present her former Miss Congeniality 2 co-star Sandra Bullock with the Favorite Humanitarian Award.

Carmelo Anthony has been suspended for 1 game without pay...all because of him pulling an old school tactic of waiting for Kevin Garnett by the bus.
Deets inside... After Monday night's exchange of words...several times...landed off the court and in MSG's tunnel where the opposing team boards their buses, Carmelo got handed his punishment today. Melo said he just wanted to "talk" to Celtics baller Kevin Garnett about some things. But we all know what could have gone down had things escalated further. And Melo has yet to comment about Kevin's alleged "Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios" jab about LaLa. NBA EVP of basketball operations Stu Jackson said about the suspension today:
We're sure this all comes as a surprise to Melo, since he told reporters during Tuesday's practice, "If you just go off the actual facts of what happened, I don't think anything will happen." Oh...but it did. He won't suffer any REAL loss of cash or anything with his $60-million 3-year contract in tact. But it's just the principle. We'll see what goes down when the Knicks travel to Boston in a few weeks for a rematch. Get ready... |

Drama is still poppin' off with the "Basketball Wives" even when the cameras are turned off. Brooke Bailey claims Bambi put out a hit on her for somebody to beat up Brooke. And she posted the proof... While rumors say Brooke, Bambi and the rest of the crew (except Draya and Jackie Christie) have gotten the axe, it hasn't stopped the drama from ensuing. This afternoon, Brook posted a message she received from a former friend of Bambi's. And it was a warning to Brooke to watch her back...because Bambi was recruiting young girls to beat up Brooke...for pay.

While his famous sisters Tia & Tamera make headlines and reality shows by sharing news from the fabulous lives, their little brother Tahj Mowry seems to be carving out a nice life for himself as well. And he spent some of his Holiday vacay in the gorgeous province of Bali, Indonesia:
The former "Smart Guy" star is all grown up and making waves on the ABC family sitcom "Baby Daddy" nowadays, and is sharing his success with Erica Ocampo, a model and Hollywood makeup artist. Who knew?
The French and Filipino beauty started her career doing makeup for MAC at the age of 17 and has appeared as the lead in videos for Robin Thicke "Magic" and Donny "Take You There." And the couple's Bali trip wasn't just to ring in the new year. Erica also celebrated a birthday last week.

The reality stars and radio personalities love a party. So we've got pics of the "Love & Hip Hop ATL" cast having some fun in Atlanta, plus celebs celebrating Power 105.1 host Angela Yee's b-day in NYC... Reality stars Mimi Faust (who has a new man now) and Ariane celebrated their birthdays at Clique Tuesday at HALO nightclub in the ATL last night. Karlie Redd, Erica Dixon and Rasheeda all hit the party to support their co-stars.
MiMi said she's been in the gym...and it shows. She looked cute in her hot pink dress and the multicolored sandals we're still not feeling.
The mom of Stevie J's daughter, Eva, posed it up with Jermaine Dupri.
Oh Karlie Redd. Want her to go home and start over.
Not sure if Erica was licking Rasheeda's ear or whispering something in it. But it looks like the ladies had fun.
Kirk Frost was there to party with his wife.
And Jagged Edge came through to celebrate their almost 20 years in the business.

Power 105.1's morning co-host Angela Yee celebrated her birthday at Bowlmor Lanes with her friends and co-workers.
The Breakfast Club chick had a cupcake towed cake complete with a boombox and a Loboutin shoe. And the party was hosted by Belvedere Vodka. All of her fave things in one.
Ange's co-host DJ Envy and his wife, Gia, made an appearance. Looks like things are going better for them. For now.

So did Plaxico Burruss.

Jay-Z and wife Beyonce spent their daughter's first birthday on the island of the Bahamas. And Hov snapped a pic for his Life+Times website to show folks just how the fam spent their downtime. Looks like 1-year-old Blue, who appears to be growing up fast, "played" by bending up the cards and tossing them on the floor. Gotta love it.

Shawty Lo is letting folks know he takes care of his. All ten babies' mamas and 11 kids. Is this an effort to save his upcoming reality show--which is possibly on the chopping block before it even starts?
Check out what he had to say inside.... With his Oxygen show "All My Babies' Mamas" catching scorching hot heat before it starts. Shawty Lo is speaking about the controversy. The show was reportedly going to portray how the "Dey Know" ATL rapper lives his day to day life with the 10 women who are the mothers of his 11 children. People went ape sh*t about the horrible example this portrayed for the black community, especially when Shawty could barely remember the names of all his kids in one preview scene. It's hard to believe one man--with about 1 mainstream hit--could properly care for eleven small children. Which is why this show seemed to be a set up for foolery. Hence, the labels of the baby mamas:
Sigh. But Shawty says he takes care of his. Except for that one "difficult" baby mama. He told MTV:
Of course. He went on to say some men with only 1 child barely take care of theirs, but he's doing what he's supposed to for all 11. Both financially and emotionally:
He also blames his "big drug money fame" and thirsty women for how he got into this situation:
Alrighty then. He seems to avoid taking responsibility for his situation saying, "You can hate all you want to, I didn't ask for it. It just happened." Taking off a condom doesn't "just happen." It's something that was done. But we digress. Check out his video interview with MTV below:
