DATE NIGHT: T.I. & Tiny Hit The "Gangster Squad" L.A. Premiere, Grab Lunch In The Hills Posted: 08 Jan 2013 08:24 AM PST T.I. & Tiny made their way to the L.A. premiere of Gangster Squad at Grauman's Chinese Theater.  Check out the pics of the couple getting cuddled up on the carpet, plus T.I. lunching in Beverly Hills...   Clifford "T.I." Harris & wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris were all about the Hollywood red carpet last night as they took in the premiere of the Gangster Squad movie.  The "Ball" rapper looked his usual happy self to be boo'd up with his wife without their umpteen kids in tow.  And yes, they looked cute having their alone time. FASHION FAB: Kerry Washington Rocks The "DJANGO UNCHAINED" Premiere Carpets In Paris & Berlin Posted: 08 Jan 2013 07:32 AM PST Kerry Washington has been a fashion darling the last few weeks as she makes her way around the globe for premieres of her hit movie Django Unchained.  Check out her looks in Berlin & Paris inside...   Ms. Washington twirled her way into Paris at Le Grand Rex last night in this multi colored Rochas Spring 2013 strapless frock and Monique Péan earrings looking gorgeous as usual.  And if you've already seen Django Unchained, you could imagine how mentally difficult acting in the movie could be.  Especially, Kerry's role as slave Broomhilda.  She told the Daily Beast that she broke her "no visitors on set" rule during the grueling 8 month shoot to fly in her therapist and her family. 'I needed all their support for this film because it was so mentally hard in many ways. 'It’s so unthinkable that my ancestors endured all the torture and pain. I saw things in the script and thought this never happened. But then I talked to Quentin and he showed us the history books that illustrated the masks and other items used to inflict torture and violence on the slaves. It really blew my mind and made me appreciate even more what my ancestors made it through. 'I barely made it through pretending.' The fabulous actress looked her usual gorgeous self, and we're sure the difficulty she suffered acting in the role will be worth it.  Oscar nomination come out this Thursday, the same day as the UK premiere.   Kerry was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Quentin Tarantino, Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz.   And the night before the Paris premiere, Kerry and the crew made their way to the Berlin premiere:   She rocked a cream checkered calf-length dress from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 collection with her white Louboutin pumps.  The vintage style was topped off with her small purse and a cute Louis Vuitton satin bow headband. MANSION LIVING: Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Buy $11 Million Bel-Air Love Shack Posted: 08 Jan 2013 06:42 AM PST Kanye West and and his expectant girlfriend Kim Kardashian are building an $11 million love nest in Bel-Air, California. Now that they have a little Yeezy on the way, they'll need thousands more square feet...naturally.  See a pic of the home in the works inside....   TMZ is reporting that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have purchased an $11 million mansion in Bel-Air, California which the couple are gutting and turning into their 14,000-square-foot dream home. The mega mansion will be outfitted like an Italian-style villa and come complete with "a gym, movie theater, full hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool." Oh, and Jennifer Aniston and Clippers baller Chris Paul will be their neighbors.  And though the birth may not be on their reality show, we're sure Kris Jenner will do a very public walk-thru of the home--while the baby is up from naptime--once it's built. Ms. Milian tweeted #PoeticJustice along with new pics of her box braids look.  She first got braids--cornrows--months ago during a trip with her baby girl Violet.  Now she's got the individual style that's popular again (after we all rocked this style heavy in the 90's). Christina said, "Yes yes yes yay! I've been wanting to get individual braids since I was like 12! Finally did it! Thank you @a1_hair! Love it.. Time to break out my j's and daisy dukes! Nicki Minaj Set To LAUNCH Fashion & Housewares COLLECTION + Azealia Banks RESPONDS To GLAAD'S Criticism Posted: 07 Jan 2013 04:30 PM PST Rapper Nicki Minaj will launch her own line of fashions, housewares and accessories this holiday season.  Get the deets inside and see Azealia Banks' response to GLADD about using the "F" word.....   In case you didn't notice, Nicki Minaj marked her return to Twitter over the weekend tweeting, “I really didn’t plan on leaving barbz! =( just sorta happened…I learned a lot on my little sabbatical tho… so enlightening, so peaceful." Her absence didn't make headline news like it did when she completely deleted her Twitter account a while back, but she told fans, "I didn’t leave barbz, I was still here in spirit and u guys KNOW that so stop with the dramatics!!! LMAO. And Barbz should expect a lot more than tweets out of Nicki this year as she expanding beyond her popular Pink Friday scent and launching a new line of accessories, housewares and fashions.  The planned parternship was revealed to the NY Post and spearheaded by Charles Koppelman, the former EMI, Steve Madden and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia boss. While working on a similar deal for Adam Levine, Charles plans to launch a Nicki-headed collection with a retail giants like Target, K-Mart or Wal-Mart for the holiday season later this year. Looks like Barbz will soon have their choice of Pink Friday plates, pillows and pants to pick from.  Interesting...   In other rap news..... Azealia Banks spent last week playing defense as she fended off attacks from Angel Haze and a certain blogger which prompted her to drop the "F" bomb.  But no matter how turnt up Azealia might have been, fans didn't give her a pass for her use of the gay slur and GLAAD issued its own public statement saying, “Banks’ claim that the word "fa**ot" doesn’t mean a gay male is not true. Regardless of her intent or her personal definition, what matters is the meaning given to that word by those who hear it, and the damage it causes when they do. “Undoubtedly there are gay kids who follow her on Twitter who hear this word in an entirely different context. This word is used almost universally by bullies, often as part of a larger verbal or physical assault. This word hurts those kids, no matter what Banks meant by it.” Azealia went back to Twitter (which probably wasn't the best idea) and attempted to explain yet again why her use of the word wasn't that bad....   With most people questioning whether Azealia still has a record deal, if she's still with her manager and if she still has anyone guiding her career, it's safe to say she and Fantasia should take a page out of Chris Brown's 2012 playbook and take a Twitter break.  The more they tweet...the worse it looks.

Kelly Rowland Gives A SANDY Shout Out For Blue Ivy's 1st Birthday! WTF WORTHY NEWS: Pebbelz The BOOTY Model ARRESTED For BUTT INJECTION HOMICIDE + Chief Keef's Stepbrother Gunned Down In Chicago Posted: 07 Jan 2013 01:14 PM PST Video vixen/booty model Pebbelz (who apparently appeared in videos for Cam'Ron and other rappers) has been arrested.  And it's all thanks to a Mississippi woman dying after having concrete injected into her ass.   We never heard of her before this foolishness either, but it's worth the read.  Check it under the cut... {NSFW} Video chick and Uncut DVDs performer Pebbelz went from this: To this:   And for years she didn't own up to having ass injections.  But now, the concrete has hit the fan as 39-year-old Pebbelz was arrested, along with another woman, for being a fugitive from justice in relation to the homicide. ABC News 24 in memphis, where Pebbelz (real name Natasha Stewart) is from, reports that the two ladies were avoiding questioning from the police after a Mississippi woman died from having concrete injected into her ass. Natasha Stewart, 39, was wanted for questioning by the Hinds County Sheriff's Department for the death of a woman in Jackson, Mississippi who was injected with concrete in her buttocks. Stewart was arrested on Thursday, January 3, and charged with Fugitive from Justice Warrant for Homicide. SCSO Fugitive Apprehension officers also arrested 21-year-old Shannetria Newberry on Jan. 3. Newberry, on the run since August 2012, was wanted for Aggravated Assault Failure to Appear on a Felony Case, Bodily Harm and Criminal Forfeiture. So Pebelz and another chick were running from 5-0 because they didn't want to say what they knew about these concrete ass injections being given out? Well, we came across this video interview of Pebblez from a little while ago where she says she is a true hustler who gets her money 100 ways.  Is one of those ways tricking women into thinking they're getting real butt injections?  Hmm. The down and dirty interview involves Pebbelz talking about her oral sex skills, her fave from-the-back position, her and the interviewer demonstrating the position on camera, and plenty more.  Watch out...it may be too ~classy~ for your eyes.     In other news, rapper Chief Keef ("I Don't Like"), who has been known for having controversial videos & songs many believe glorify killing, has suffered a fatality in his family  His stepbrother was gunned down on the south side of Chicago. Ulysses Gissendanner (on the right), who started a rap career like his former stepbrother Keith Cozart, also known as Chief Keef, was fatally shot in a car Wednesday afternoon. He called himself YPN Boomtown, and his father was also Chief Keef's father, Alfonso Cozart.  DNA Info reports: “As a caring father, who wouldn’t worry about that?” Cozart asked. “I do want my son to have success and have a long, positive life, and I hope the best for him.” But Alfonso Cozart said he doesn’t want any Chief Keef connection to distract from the tragedy of Gissendanner’s slaying. “He just graduated high school, and was in college and had a job. He was a positive person,” Cozart said. “I’m not trying to get publicity of Chief Keef being my son. I want you to focus on Ulysses. He’s the one that’s gone.” Gissendanner’s mother, Aridecy Tate, nicknamed her son “Boomie” because he was such a big kid — more than 10 pounds when he was born.   Sad news for a city already suffering with so many killings from gangs and other causes.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: "Love & Hip Hop 3" Star Yandy Smith & Mandeecees On Yandy's SOFTER Side, Talks Chasing Checks AND Her Baby Boy Posted: 07 Jan 2013 10:56 AM PST   "L&HH" star Yandy Smith chatted exclusively with TheYBF.com recently where she revealed that fans will see her softer side this season as she introduces viewers to her long-term boyfriend Mandeecees, their son Omere, and she expands her Everything Girls Love brand.  Her man even chimes in to answer a few questions.  See the highlights inside.... Though she’s been in the music business for a number of years--first as the assistant to Mona Scott-Young (“L&HH” Executive Producer) and most famously as the former manager of rapper Jim Jones--Yandy Smith stepped out into the spotlight last season as the breakout star of “L&HH” season 2. Now a music management powerhouse and co-founder/CEO of Everything Girls Love, a lifestyle, Web publishing and fashion brand, Yandy was known as the "Don King” of reality television last season (because fights seemed to follow her everywhere).  And this season, she's still fighting...but as a mother and as a businesswoman. On season 3, Yandy also shows a softer side as she has become a mother and we meet her live-in boyfriend,Mandeecees.  He even answers a few q's for us during her interview. She and Mandeecees chatted exclusively with TheYBF.com about the side of herself that viewers will get to see this season, what she hopes to gain for her brand and what cast members she feels closest to.  Here are the highlights: This season it appears that we'll see more of your personal life than just you as a businesswoman, was that something you wanted last season? No.  Last season I was completely closed and I didn’t want any of my personal life (no mom, no dad, no man, nothing) on the show. Honestly, the reason why I did the show is because I wanted to give a message to people out there, women, men, whoever…there are some of us who are independent of a man who have built a career in this industry or done well for themselves independently of someone else’s career. And I felt that first season that wasn’t really shown. Because if you see Somaya struggling, she left struggling. Olivia starting struggling in her music career, she left struggling. I wanted to show that I’m fighting and I’m not really struggling. I wanted season 2 to be focused on my business. Could you still be considered the Don King of reality tv or do you think you have softened up this season? Last year, I think that was more so people not understanding production and how things were. I don’t necessarily get to choose who I’m shooting with. If you’re in a cast with a certain amount of people, I can’t bring my girlfriend from school, my other from work to an event. If Emily’s doing a party and it’s a show about us 6 women, I wouldn’t show up with someone other than someone on the show. If you really look at the production side of things, everything has to tie in and sometimes certain people are used to tie it in. So it’s not about being a Don King or anything, it’s just how the story works. I can’t bring my cousin that lives in the Bronx to Emily’s event if she’s not on the show. I was soft last season. I’m a softie. This season you see more of my family and what we go through being in the business and all that stuff. The world didn't see your boyfriend during the last season, what made you want to include him now? When we started taping I was 8 months pregnant, so there was no way not to include him. I didn’t want people…well, People assumed last season, and I realized, that because I didn’t have a boyfriend on the show and it is Love & Hip Hop, people assumed that I was in love with Jim or wanted to be with him. It was so confusing and mind-boggling because we were so professional in real life and on the show and I couldn’t understand why people thought that. I guess if they don’t see you with anybody, they assume you’re with nobody. Because I was coming home every night to Mandeecees so it’s like, what are they talking about. Do they know what I got at home? I felt it was important to let people know, “Let me check all yall that thought something differently, here it is”. Which cast do you prefer, the previous season or current cast? I prefer this season's cast because my families on it.  And if I can bring more money to my household, I’m always with that. How do you feel about your good friend Kimbella not reappearing this season? I miss her on the show. We talk everyday...on the show, having a comrade and confidant I can go to if things are going on. Again, on the show I can’t bring someone who's not a cast member to talk about things on the show. Having a close friend on the show is good because I can go to her and say, “me and this person just got into it, what do you think”? I’m still close with Olivia, but being that Kim’s not on it, I can't go to her with certain issues that are happening on the show. She wouldn’t be the person I’m taping with because she’s not a cast member. Considering all the drama that happened last season and with reality shows in general, why did you choose to return for another season? Let me think…there was a lot of drama, but overall it was excellent for my brand. I’m just going to keep it real with you. When I thought about the drama and how much I’m not drama filled, I was asking myself if this is something I really wanted to do. But when I thought about what it’s done for my EGL brand, I was like “why wouldn’t I”. When I thought about how it’s a commercial to promote whatever you have (your nails, hair, clothing or jewelry line), this show airs 3 to 4 times a day every day a week, you would be a fool not to take advantage of all those marketing tools and dollars that could be spent. And I felt there was nothing more to think about when I thought of it from that spectrum. What’s the BIGGEST change you've seen in your boyfriend after you had your baby boy? He’s already been a dad and what I love about him is that he’s a great dad. But now to see him love up on something that’s a part of me, makes me love him. Baby Omere has just gotten us so much closer because I see how much he loves him and how much he wants to protect him.  And that just makes me love him more. How have you two changed since you’ve become parents? Mandeecees: Our relationship and alone time has changed because kids are always in our bed. So when it’s time for romance… Yandy: Oh all the things to talk about he would say that! Mandeecees: The baby’s right there, you know. But other than that, things have been great. I enjoy being a dad and I enjoy watching Yandy.  It’s kind of weird now that Yandy’s a mother and I’m so used to seeing her as the working lady. A working woman that’s always chasing money, chasing checks and now she’s always holding a bottle and rocking a baby, and doing motherly things. It’s a big change, but it’s cool. OH: "Django Unchained" ACTION Figures Hit The MARKET + Jamie Foxx & Kerry Washington REMIX "All Gold Everything" Posted: 07 Jan 2013 10:13 AM PST Quentin Tarantino and the Weinstein company are capitalizing on the success of the Django Unchained flick with a selection of "Django" action figures. Find out more inside.....   Along the same lines as other profitable action flicks, the Weinstein company has released a line of action figures associated with its hit Django Unchained.  The eight-inch action figures are available on Amazon.com and come "...with tailored clothing, weaponry, and accessories in the likeness of characters played by Foxx, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, James Remar and Christoph Waltz." Noted black film critic Tim Gordon spoke to The Daily Beast about the dolls and the film saying, “There were a lot of things that were done for Django that would’ve never been done for Inglourious Basterds … but people don’t speak up. People have gotten so -- I don’t know if the word is comfortable or naïve. We just want to go along to get along and it’s very frustrating.” While we all agree that the company should be able to profit from the success of the flick, are we ok with "slavery" being turned into a marketable commodity....again?  Given, the movie was not a documentary or truly historical depiction of slavery as it was a Hollywood film for entertainment.  But didn't the film portray pretty true points about slavery...and therefore the action figures could be taken as a glorification of what went down? Also, Amazon doesn't go into detail about the accessories but we wonder if either character comes with a "whip."  And how would we feel about that? Speak on it....are the dolls an example of marketing going too far?     In other Django news....   During an interview with HipHollywood, actors Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx broke out into an impromptu tribute to Trinidad James with a verse of "All Gold Everything."
