| Tenacious D Tantalizes With New Album And Upcoming Tour! Posted: 07 Mar 2012 12:50 PM PST This years SXSW is obvi going to be epic, but perhaps it will be spun into an epic musical tale sung by lyrical wizards Jack Black and Kyle Gass!! The duo behind Tenacious D will debut their brand new musical romp Rize of the Fenix at a special SXSW performance. The show, only available to music badge and wristband holders, kicks off Tenacious D will also play The Sasquatch Festival in Washington on memorial day. Rize Of The Fenix, the fantastically funny duo's first album in over 6 years, will officially be released on May 15th. Jack Black describes the making of the album like:
Oh, and lest we forget Foo Fighter's fans - Dave Grohl is featured as drummer extrodinaire on the album!! We can't wait to listen to Rize in all it's mystical, magical glory. How about U?? | From One Rush To Another: Stop Using Our Music! The Band Has Beef With The Politician! Posted: 07 Mar 2012 12:30 PM PST If you think you can do or say whatever you want sir, THINK AGAIN! As previously reported, Rush Limbaugh said some pretty ignorant and insensitive statement regarding Sandra Fluke and birth control. Now, he's getting his butt handed to him by Rush (the band) and Peter Gabriel. During his spat against Fluke, Rush (the dude) played Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer and called the Georgetown student a "slut." Then, when he got EXTREMELY creepy and asked to see sex tapes of Fluke and women who receive birth control through their employer, he played Rush's (the band) music. Obvis, Rush (the band) and Peter Gabriel don't like that one bit! Both parties have slapped Rush (the dude) with cease-and-desist letters and ordered him not to play their music. | Apple Announces iPad 3 And New Cloud-Based TV! All The Details HERE! Posted: 07 Mar 2012 12:20 PM PST They have arrived! At a presentation today in San Francisco, Apple unveiled both a new, higher-def TV and the much-anticipated, long-awaited third generation iPad! The Apple TV will now feature a high-definition video (2048 x 1536 pixel Retina display) and a connection with the iCloud, which will access the user's movies and media already purchased through iTunes! It also has a new interface with more icons, and fewer lists and menus! It's $99 and will be out next week! Meanwhile, the new iPad is super jacked up, available March 16th and preorder today, and all you tech geeks can check out the detailed specs...AFTER THE JUMP!

Tim Burton's latest project, Dark Shadows, has just released its character promo stills. Staples Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are featured in the flick alongside Chloë Moretz, Michelle Pfeifer, and Eva Green. Even though she and Robert Pattinson play lovers in the film, Uma took on a more of a mentor role to the English actor. In a recent interview, Uma spoke about their time on set together and it turns out, R-Patz is like really, really serious. She said:

Well, DUH. It's not called a race for nothing! The election process is supposed to be a test of one's tenacity. Too bad Newt nailed himself in the foot yesterday by falling asleep on camera during an ABC News segment! Not only did the Newt seemed to think he would be able to rely on a "panel," but the presidential candidate was actually supposed to have a substantial and informative speech prepared. Reportedly, Rihanna is planning a secret getaway to give her ex, Chris Brown, another shot. RiRi and Breezy have been hooking up A LOT lately, from song remixes to rumored Idol appearances, to other public outings, intentional or not. But since RiRi's restraining order ended, rumors of some more romantic "secret meetings: have surfaced and now, it looks like they want to escape somewhere private to see if a rekindled relationship could work.
