DEBATE FAB: President Obama Calls Out Mitt For Having OLD Policies In FINAL DEBATE

President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney met for the last of their Presidential Debates last night at Lynn University.  See pics and highlights inside....

Last night, Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida played host to the last of the Presidential Debates.  And President Obama revealed just how Mitt Romney is attempting to go back to the foreign policy of the 1980s, social policy of the 1950s, and economic policy of the 1920s. The President added that his policies would build on the progress of the last four years, honor our veterans, do some nation building here at home, and move us forward.

During an awkward moment, President Obama called out Mitt Romney for not knowing how the military works.  When Mitt said we have fewer ships in the navy than in the 1960's (as a jab at Obama), Barack countered by saying "We Have Fewer Horses and Bayonets" too.  His point, was times have changed and so have our capabilities.  Qaulity and efficieny trumps quantity.  We also now have drones, submarines and unarmed vehicles that do the work of several "ships".  A forward thinking Commander-In-Chief would know that.

Later, President Obama's campaign manager Jim Messina spoke about the debate saying,

“Tonight America saw its Commander-in-Chief and someone who’s not ready to be Commander-in-Chief. President Obama dominated tonight’s debate because he was strong and steady and outlined a clear vision to make Americans safer and maintain our country’s leadership in the world. He demonstrated that he knows a President has only one chance to get it right – and Mitt Romney has failed the Commander-in-Chief test every single time, including many times tonight.

Romney was unclear, uncertain and unsteady, and his policies are reckless and wrong.President Obama will build on the progress of the last four years, honor our veterans, do some nation building here at home, and move us forward, not back to the same dangerous policies that crashed the economy and crushed the middle class.”

 

In the audience......

FLOTUS Michelle Obama supported the President while wearing a grey lace embellished Thom Browne dress.

At the end, President Obama greeted the entire Romney family, especially his young grandson.

Ciara hit the California desert to shoot her new video for her upcoming single "Got Me Good."  And we've got the sneak peek & behind the scenes action inside.  Check it, plus twerk it to T.I. & Lil Wayne's "Ball" video..

The video doesn't drop until this Thursday (October 25th), but Ciara's offering up a sneak peek into what you can expect.  For her follow up to "Sorry," she's dancing it up in the hot ass desert, but still manages to keep it cute.

CiCi also tapped the 8 Flavahz kid group from "America's Best Dance Crew" to join her in the video. Check out CiCi on the set and giving you what to expect in the video above.

 

In other video news, T.I. trekked it to New Orleans to film his "Ball" video in Lil Wayne's hood.  And we're not even mad at it:

 

The track appears on T.I.P.'s Trouble Man album dropping December 18th, and the Mark Klasfeld-directed vid shows 5-0-4 folks dancing it up to the classic N.O. beat on the track.

Halle Berry SMOKED Pot With Tom Hanks For "Cloud Atlas" + Tyler Perry Dishes On His Private Island With Chelsea

Halle Berry and Tyler Perry both made the talk show rounds yesterday to promote their latest flicks. Find out what Halle said to Jay Leno about smoking pot with Tom Hanks and what Tyler revealed about his private island.

Halle Berry, looking insanely fabulous in a one shoulder grey dress and sparkling Louboutin pumps, chatted it up with Jay Leno about her latest film Cloud Atlas.  She talked about dishing out Halloween candy to Nahla and said she's dressing as a mummy for the evening. She also jokingly talked about her character smoking pot with Tom Hanks in the film. But looking at her body language, it may be safe to assume they really went in for the scene.

And....Halle found out that she is related to Sarah Palin.  She wasn't excited about it.

Tyler Perry stopped by "Chelsea Lately" to promote his newest flick Alex Cross, and she asked him about his private island. He wouldn't reveal where it was or how much it cost (but we know it's in the Bahamas and worth several million dollars), but he said he likes to jet ski and lay on the beach naked. Oh?

2012 ANGEL BALL COUPLES: Kim & Kanye, Ashanti & Nelly, Solange & Miss Tina & More GET FAB For The Cause!

Kanye West & his girlfriend Kim K. are back from their trip to Italy.  And their first stop as soon as they got back into the states tonight was the 2012 Angel Ball held at Cipriani Wall Street.

It's that time of the year when celebs step out in full force for Denise Rich's Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. The Foundation funds medical research for prevention and treatment of Lymphoma, Leukemia and related cancers.  And plenty of your faves were on hand to support the cause of the 16th annual Ball.

In a stunning cobalt blue gown with two slits and a pair of sky high black ankle strapped Thierry Mugler heels (yes we'll admit that we finally like one of Kanye's picks) Kim K. stepped out of Kanye's Soho apartment with her boo Monday night to hit the event.  And Kanye, looking dapper in something else other than leather pants, put on his best camera ready face:

Ashanti put on a sexy sparkly black dress with a thigh high slit as she hit the carpet with her man Nelly.

Angela Simmons looked great in a deep pink one shoulder gown with a wrapped slit.  And she accessorized with cobalt blue accessories.

And Mama Tina's face is looking snatched to the lords of Botox.  Not mad.  She looks fab these days.

Nina Simone's DAUGHTER STILL Upset ABout UNAUTHORIZED Biopic And Zoe Saldana's CASTING

Nina Simone's daughter Simone has spoken out about the unauthorized biopic being made about her mother's life, the casting of Zoe Saldana and how the director "backdoored" her way into the Nina Simone story. Get the story inside....

Zoe Saldana was pictured for the first time on the set (above) of the upcoming Nina Simone biopic.  And lots of people are pissy about this costume & makeup someone has decked her out in.

And that's not all.  During a very interesting interview with EBONY, Simone, a Broadway actress and daughter of Nina Simone (shown above), gave her feelings about the casting of Zoe Saldana (shown at the top on the set as "Nina") and explained how someone could simply write a movie about her mom without her consent or involvement.  Here are the highlights:

Can you clarify your feelings about the casting of Zoe Saldana to play your mother?

Simone: I love Zoe Saldana’s work. I’ve seen some of her movies more than once and really enjoy what she brings to the screen. As an actress I respect her process, but I also know that there are many actresses out there, known or not, who would be great as my mother. The one actress that I’ve had in my heart for a very long time, whose work I’m familiar with already, is Kimberly Elise. Many people have spoken to me about Viola. I love her look. I love her energy. Both of the actresses that I’ve mentioned are women of color, are women with beautiful, luscious lips and wide noses, and who know their craft. I also have no problem introducing someone we’ve never heard of before who can play my mother.

This project that’s going forward, you’ve talked about having little to nothing to do with it. How does that happen?

S: I’ve been asking myself that question. How does that happen? As I said on my blog, when the announcement came out approximately six years ago that Mary J. Blige had been cast to play Nina Simone, I heard it along with everyone else and I was very concerned. How does someone just decide to do a story about someone and completely bypass family? Completely bypass her representatives? We offered to get involved with all the stuff that we have, from the music, to the pictures, to her writings, to connecting them with the stories of many people who were close to my mother, and we were ignored

So you’re not a gatekeeper. So you’re not someone who’s trying to whitewash your mother’s legacy is what you’re saying?


S: No, not at all. Her life is educational, inspirational, entertaining, and downright shocking at times. My mother was good at shocking people. She enjoyed it and she did it well. So why do we need to embellish, to build a tall tale? That is what Cynthia Mort has done. She has taken my mother’s name and then bought the life rights to her male nurse turned manager, Clifton Henderson’s life. In my opinion, she came in through the back door. I was saying, come in the front door, let’s have a cup of tea, let’s talk about it. Let’s work together.

I asked her ‘How did you get in contact with Clifton?’ She said she googled him. I asked her ‘If you googled him, I was starring on Broadway at the time. I’m her only child. I’m not hard to find. Why didn’t you contact me?’ It’s interesting because it took a little while, but the truth finally came out. She told me she was told not to contact me. My mother and I had our ups and downs, like any family, but we loved each other until the end, and I wouldn’t try to edit our troubles out of any project.

When Cynthia and I ended the call, we agreed to talk again the next day. I felt like we’d broken some really good ground that we’d created a place from which we could continue to communicate. But when I called into the conference call the next day, I was the only one on the line.

 

The film's director avoiding Simone is pretty shady.  Will you watch this?

And the saga of the Young & The Indecisive continues.  Chris Brown was spotted leaving his house an hitting the studio with his "ex"-girlfriend Karrueche Tran Sunday afternoon.  That would be all fine and good...had he not put out a PSA that he broke up Karrueche to get closer to his other ex Rihanna, who he also spent the weekend with.

Well isn't this interesting.  The paparazzi cameras caught Karrueche & Chris leaving his home Sunday afternoon -- in separate cars -- and clearly together.  And before you call Chris an ingenuine player...he was gentlemen enough to have his bodyguard pay for Kae’s gas before they drove off to the studio in Burbank:

How sweet.  Kae and her fave Isabel Marant sneakers and oversized baseball jersey got back in her blue Porsche Panamera (that Chris may or may not have bought her) ad followed Breezy to the studio:

Just ask Chris--since he spent the night before (Saturday) at his Qubeey event at a private mansion in Hollywood.  And the twosome (pictured above at the event) were spotted kissing & hugging all night.

Nick Cannon Announces "Drumline" SEQUEL + "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" Season 5 SUPERTEASER Is Nuts

Nick Cannon has announced there will be a sequel to his hit film Drumline.  And...a tv show.  Get the deets inside and watch the "RHOA" supertease....

During a tv rerun of his hit Drumline, Nick Cannon tweeted,

As his Nickelodeon movie Rags was such a success,  Nick is creating a lane for directing and producing tv flims in addition to his other projects. Congrats Nick!  A TV version of Drumline though?  Interesting....

 

In other tv news............

Bravo has released the "RHOA" superteaser and it will leave fans hungry for more.  Though they have a way of teasing a storyline and making you think one thing, when its really another, this season will be explosive for sure.

Some "potential" storylines include Kenya Moore crushing on Apollo (chile....), Gregg trying to get back with NeNe, Phaedra doing pet funerals, Kandi and Kim fighting and someone seems to get married, re-married or maybe it was just an elaborate engagement.

Tune in Sunday, Nov. 4, 9pm ET for the premiere.

Nicki Minaj just released a new video for "Come On A Cone" from the upcoming 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up' disc. Watch the video inside and see video of Kendrick Lamar promoting his debut album.

 

Nicki takes it back to her grimy street rhyme days in the "Come On A Cone" video (yes, that's the real name) from 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up' (Nov 19).  The video was directed by Grizz Lee and shows footage from Nicki's tour and personal life. She tweeted,
“BARBZ!!!!!!! about to post smthng….,” the 29-year-old singer tweeted. ‘it shld be up on mobile now barbz, zzzaaaamnnnnn….. =p”

Raven Symone Goes Prairie Girl -- DISNEY'S "Secret Of The Wings" Premiere

Raven Symone through her on prairie-girl inspired best for last night's premiere of Disney's "Secret Of The Wings" in Hollywood.  Check out the actress/singer's look & what she's up to inside...

Raven rolled to the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 theater in NYC last night to get back to her Disney roots.  She was on hand to promote her newest animated flick Secret of the Wings, which opens soon here in the US.  She plays the voice of "Iridessa" in this cutesy movie about Tinkerbell.  And apparently, chick wanted to get into her fairy-prairie-like character for the occasion with this dress.

She posed it up with the cast & execs--Timothy Dalton, Anjelica Huston, Matt Lanter, Mae Whitman, Director Peggy Holmes, Producer Michael Wigert and Meredith Roberts, GM of DisneyToon Studios.

The funny chick turns 26 in December.  How time flies...

COUPLEDOM: Jordin Sparks & Jason Derulo Get Cuddly At The Movies

Jordin Sparks and her beau Jason Derulo were seen shopping over at The Grove and hitting the movie theater over weekend. And Jordin says wedding bells could be ringing soon.   See the photos inside....

A fresh faced Jordin Sparks was spotted leaving the movies with boyfriend Jason Derulo yesterday at the Grove in LA.  The twosome were arm and arm trying to avoid the paps, but there's no hiding that smile of Jordin's.  She was in casual mode in black leggings, a black tee and a leather jacket and her colorful sneakers.  And Jason kept it casual and a hoodie and cargo pants.

A few months ago, 22-year-old Jordin helped nurse Jason back to health after his neck injury....and he's looking really good these days.  The Sparkle star also said she hopes Jason, 23, proposes soon.  She told Us Weekly that she and her boo are definitely talking marriage:

"It's not a conversation that we're scared about. Before, we both went through tragedies this year -- he broke his neck and then [Sparkle costar] Whitney [Houston] passed -- so before it might have been a little too crazy."

"You really see the people you love and you go, I don't want to lose you. So, it's a conversation we have, but we're not in a rush."

And about if she'll be thrilled if he popped the question sooner rather than later:

"I hope he does!  It's not happening yet, but I hope so!"

Azealia Banks BLASTS Dolce & Gabanna For "Racist" Designs + IT'S A BOY For Amber & Wiz!

Azealia Banks is pissed at Dolce and Gabanna.  And she's letting the world know she's boycotting the design house, all because of their latest designs that she deemed to be racist.

While in Brazil performing, Azealia told everyone what she thought about the Dolce & Gabanna collection she had just seen at Milan Fashion Week. And she clearly didn't like what she saw.  Much of the clothing had African imagery that is deemed by many as racist, and models wore burlap sacks and plantation-era cornucopias on their heads.  She tweeted this weekend:

"Definitely boycotting Dolce & Gabanna....Whoever designed that racist ass Dolce and Gabanna collection needs a swift kick in the mouth and a big dick up the ass.

I really hate when people do corny, racist things then try to justify it as "art." ... It's all just really unnecessary. the clothes in the collection were fine without all the "black mammie" imagery."

The Italian design house explained that the designs were a nod to their African-Sicilian roots and the first African settlers in Sicily.  But Ms. Banks wasn't impressed.

It seems she's found a new designer love.  She tweeted about popping her Gucci cherry yesterday:

Purchased my first Gucci Item today. so weird, i have stuff from all the other houses but finally made a gucci purchase. the shoes r boss!

Nice.

In other news, Amber Rose revealed she and Wiz Khalifa are having a boy.  Yep...they've got a mini Wizbud is on the way.  And she broke the news by tweeting a pic of a friend's gift on her birthday yesterday:

Drake PARTIES IT UP With His Dad, Wale & Deelishis For Birthday #26 In ATL

Rapper Drake celebrated his 26th birthday by hitting the stage in Atlanta Saturday night and hanging with Wale and Kenny Burns.  See the photos inside.....

 

Saturday,  rapper Drake was seen arriving at Compound in Atlanta where Moet sponsored his birthday party (he turns 26 in two days).

MMG rapper Wale was among the crowd that toasted the recent high school grad.

Comedian and actor DeRay Davis came through.

Reality star Deelishis brought her best ASSets to the party.  And by the way, she's back to shaking her plentiful booty & strutting in clubs for money. 

The "No Lie" rapper performed for the crazy crowd.

Kenny Burns and Drake's dad Dennis Graham also joined in the fun.  Gotta love pops.

We're told that SEVERAL bottles were popped last night to celebrate.  Apparently, everyone lost count as to just how many.

Unfortunately, when Drake made a surprise appearance during a performance with 2 Chainz and Pusha-T for Howard's Homecoming on Friday, several fans were injured as the crowd became a bit over excited.  See the clip above.
