Rapper Kendrick Lamar celebrated the #2 debut of his album, good kid, m.A.A.d city by releasing a new track called “The Jig Is Up (Dump’n).” Listen to it inside and find out how much a deluxe copy of Rihanna's Unapologetic will cost. Kendrick Lamar's debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, lands in the #2 spot on Billboard's Top 200 this week, selling an estimated 242,122 in its first week. The projected sales make Kendrick's debut the fastest selling rap album of the year (in its first week). Kendrick excitedly tweeted the news saying, To show appeciation for his fan's support, he released a new song, produced by J. Cole, called “The Jig Is Up (Dump’n).”
Meanwhile, Brandy's Two Eleven remained in the top ten.

As Rihanna preps to release Unapologetic (Nov. 16), she's announced a deluxe version of the disc that will set stans back $250. So...what will you get for $250? The Diamonds Executive Platinum Box comes with the Unapologetic disc, a handwritten personal note from the star, a custom-made white-and-silver View-Master with a "vintage reel of never-before-released 3-D images" of her style evolution, a T-shirt, a two-gigabyte flash drive with Rihanna's photo on it, seven art-print lithographs, seven laptop stickers, a poster, a 40-page book of notes and lyrics, a 20-minute DVD, and a special-edition vinyl record featuring remixes of the hit "Diamonds. The Diamonds Executive Platinum Box ships Dec. 11.

Halle Berry and her daughter Nahla both kicked off their shoes and climbed the super slide at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood yesterday.
Halle smiled in anticipation of all the fun to come.
She and Nahla (dressed as a Lalaloopsy doll) held hands as they went down the slide.
It great to see Halle and Nahla celebrating Halloween and in great spirits. She doesn't seem to let Cloud Atlas box office performance affect her.

She's "very rich"--her words--and she's using diamonds as her bath water for the December/January 2013 cover of EBONY magazine. Check out what "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes is revealing in her cover shoot inside.... Soak up those diamonds NeNe. They are good for the skin. But are they good for this cover? NeNe Leakes, who also stars in NBC's "The New Normal," posed in an eye popping cover shoot for the MONEY & POWER issue of EBONY mag. And it's so her. Some folks have been calling the diamonds & champagne in the bathtub look a trashy one, but it looks like Mrs. Leakes (yeah we left on the M-R-S because we're still side eyieng that alleged divorce between her and Gregg) is just spicing up the usual EBONY cover look with her own flare we've come to love. But you be the judge. Are you feelin' this cover?
P.S. Inside this MONEY & POWER issue, EBONY released their 2012 annual "Power 100" list. When you pick up your copy of the mag, you'll see yours truly made the list as part of "The Digetari"! Though we haven't heard from her in a while, Mya is back with a colorful video called "Take Him Out" featuring Spice. Watch the clip inside and get the deets on Q Parker's solo debut, The MANual and watch the video for his "Yes" single. After a long hiatus, Mya returns with a catchy reggae styled song called "Take Him Out." Featuring the rapper Spice, the track appears on her 2011 album K.I.S.S. In the video, Mya plays a sanitation worker who sings about taking her man out with the trash.

Former 112 singer Q Parker, who drops his solo debut, The MANual, today, has also released a video for the "Yes" single. The black-and-white clip was directed by G Visuals and features a shirtless Q crooning to his woman. Q describes “The MANual” as a musical guide and an honest look at how he believes a woman should be treated by a man. He hopes both males and females will use the music as an opportunity to have a transparent conversation on relationships. The album features collaborations with Faith Evans and Styles P (of The LOX).

Though they had been denying that they're a couple, Rob Kardashian changed all that recently when he posted photos of himself and Rita kissing. Under one photo he put the caption "Boo" and "Moms" under another. He also tweeted about how much he missed her. Aren't they...sweet. Meanwhile, Rita is in NYC where she had to cancel a concert due to Hurricane Sandy. She tweeted fans,
It looks like she's making plans to hit the stage...once the roads are cleared of water.
In other couples news.......
"Vampires Diaries" star Kat Graham has gotten engaged to boyfriend Cottrell Guidry. Cottrell made the announcement on his Facebook page yesterday...though he deleted it later. Cottrell, who runs Stay Cool Productions, also tweeted a pic of himself on a dog walk over the weekend, with the hashtag #WaitingforWifey. So far, reps for Kat and Cottrell haven't officially confirmed the engagement. But as much as they're attached at the hip, we're sure that's coming soon...
BONUS: In other Rita Ora news, she'll be replacing Alexa Chung as the face of the Italian footwear brand Superga. She'll star in the company's Spring/Summer 2013 campaign. In case you cared.

It's been a rough few days for the East Coast with the coming & going of Storm Sandy (now labeled a post-Tropical storm mixed with a Nor'easter). We here at TheYBF.com are based in both DC & New York City, but we have done everything in our power to keep the site rolling to provide a bit of relief with entertainment news in the midst of such a devastating and stressful time.
Check out how President Obama says YOU can help, plus a few positive updates on such an overwhelmingly bad situation.... In a note released today, our President (pictured above getting briefed on Sandy updates this week at the White House) has continued his great efforts of preparing and aiding the affected states as much as possible. And now, through a letter from his top aide, he's asking for your help:
With the almost depressing amounts of reports that make our situation, affecting NYC, DC, Connecticut, Virginia, West Virginia, feel daunting, there is a bit of good news.
After the subways (pictured above), Wall Street, NY Stock Exchange floor, much of the Jersey coast, major tunnels & interstates around NYC and more completely flooded last night, the water has receded in many places. The flooded subways & PATH will likely stay shut down throughout the week, according to ABC's live updates, but the major bridges and tunnels of New York have been re-opened this morning by Governor Cuomo. Bus service in NYC starts back tomorrow in full, according to MTA.
The Manhattan, Williamsburg, GWB, Verrazano & Brooklyn Bridges are now open to traffic. So is the Lincoln Tunnel. Water has been pumped from flooded areas of Brooklyn throughout the night. However, the tunnels on the East side, Holland Tunnel downtown and Midtown Tunnel (pictured above) are still flooded and closed, as well as the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Many people's homes and streets in the northeast are wrecked with trees and power lines and water, but other roadways in and out of the cities--which is a major accomplishment--are now opening. Unfortunately, the entire lower half of Manhattan is still without power since around 7p last night after it was voluntarily shut off by ConEdison. So is much of New Jersey. According to first hand reports, much of DC still has its power. According to news reports, expect another 3-4 days of no power in lower Manhattan. Stay safe everyone and keep those who have suffered in your thoughts and prayers!

Halle Berry is still doing promo for her Cloud Atlas film that flopped at the theaters. But she rolled to "Chelsea Lately" to chop it up about her umpteen characters last night.
Plus, we've got video of Toni Braxton's "Behind The Music" special that aired on VH1 last night....
Last night, VH1 aired Toni Braxton's "Behind The Music." And for the first time, we learn the real deal behind those two bankruptcy situations, her heath, her son's autism and the guilt she still feels about succeeding without her sisters. Toni revealed that the first bankruptcy was a result of a horrible contract. While signed to Arista as the First Lady of LaFace, Toni was given the full Hollywood treatment while her self-titled debut album was a #1 success. What she didn't realize is that her "slave like" contract allowed the record company to recoup all the money for clothes, hotels, travel, perks they originally provided for her. So she ended up with only $2K. The second bankruptcy occurred after she pulled out of the 2 year of Vegas shows (a series originally slated for only 6 weeks). When she suffered a heart attack from over working herself and finding out her oldest son Denim had autism, she needed to pull out of the gig. The insurance company backing the project decided not to cover the expenses. So all the lighting, production, sound, etc. companies sued TONI for the money. Check out the full episode where she also speaks on the guilt she has for going solo (even though her fam pushed her to) and succeeding without her Braxton sisters.
Also last night, Halle Berry stopped by Chelsea's show to talk Cloud Atlas. Halle said even though the story seems convoluted, it's actually just a simple story of revolution. So she says. Check out their funny convo and Halle looking HOT above.

Actress and reality star Eva Marcille was seen shopping on Robertson Boulevard in Hollywood yesterday. She rocked a funky outfit that, of course, her model self could pull off which included a studded fanny pack.
Eva may have been treating herself to a few early birthday gifts as she celebrates her 27th birthday today. Hope it's a fab one Eva!
