R&B artist turned music exec Ne-Yo blasted some of today's pop acts, like Lady Gaga, saying they won't stand the test of time. Get the deets on his statement inside and watch Miguel on "Late Show." Ne-Yo, the new Senior Vice President of A&R at Motown Records, says today's artists don't have what it takes to become icons like the Motown legends. And that includes Lady Gaga, who everyone was touting as the next big legend. He told the Daily Star,
Ne-Yo, who'll soon drop his R.E.D. album, hopes to change all that in his new gig at Motown. He said,
Well tell em how you feel Ne-Yo.
Also in music...... Miguel stopped by “The Late Show with David Letterman” last night to perform his hit "Adorn." The song helped his Kaleidoscope Dream disc push 69,000 units its first week, putting him at #3 on the Billboard 200. Miguel hits the road with Elle Varner and Trey Songz for the “Chapter V World Tour” on November 17th. |

Stacey Dash isn't just being vocal for Mitt Romney these days as she made her singing debut in Emcee N.I.C.E's "Life Of The Party" featuring Blake Smith recently. Stacey dressed up like an Egyptian goddess in the Kelly Schwarze-directed clip and sings to her little heart's desire. She spoke about the song saying, "It has been an honor to be part of and work with Emcee N.I.C.E. and Blake Smith. You all gave me the most amazing experience!" Emcee N.I.C.E. was pleased with her vocals saying, "Working with Stacey Dash was a pleasant and memorable experience. She was very quick, professional, and delivered better than 85% of the singers out there and I look forward to working on her debut album in the future."

| SHE'S OUT: Beyonce Drops Out Of Clint Eastwood's "A Star Is Born" Posted: 09 Oct 2012 08:33 PM PDT
Clint Eastwood's A Star Is Born remake is off to a shaky start....if it starts at all. For over a year now, Beyonce has been in talks to have one of the lead female roles (originally played by Barbara Streisand) in the flick. But Mrs. Knowles Carter has just taken her cards out the game.
Deets inside... Warner Brothers--the studio housing the flick--has yet to give a statement on why Beyonce pulled out of the movie. But sources say it's due to her heavily packed schedule for this year. And she would be stretching herself far too think taking on such a major role. She's working on her new album, tending to her 10-month-old daughter, and has plenty of performances and another tour rumored to be lined up. No word on if Clint's vocal support for Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney (while Bey is hardcore supporting Obama) had anything to do with the decision. But plenty of folks believe it could. Esperanza Spaulding is now in talks to fill the role, but there's also no male lead lined up. According to Variety:
This would be the umpteenth remake of this film. So is it really necessary? Time will tell....

Rick Ross just dropped a sensual new video (yeah, we said sensual) for his single "Diced Pineapples." Check out the biggest boss parlaying on the gorgeous island of Anguilla with his homie Drake, Wale, Future and the crew...and of course...chicks galore. Shot last month at the stunning Viceroy Hotel in Anguilla, Rick Ross is giving his main chick everything she needs in the video for his "Diced Pineapples" track (which features Wale). The song, which is yet to be released as an official single, appears on Ricky's fifth studio album God Forgives, I Don't. Ricky & his homies, including Drake Drizzy, are shot by Director X chillin' at the villas on the property. And Ciroc, platefuls of fruit & island fabness ensue. Peep the video above. Singer and actor Trey Songz has announced the dates for his upcoming “Chapter V World Tour” featuring Miguel and Elle Varner. Get the dates inside and see T.I. kick off #TroublemanTuesdays with BTS photos and Lil' Wayne. “As I enter this next chapter of my life, what better way than to celebrate with the very people who have made me who I am today; MY FANS and my Angels,” said Trey Songz recently as he announced his ‘Chapter V World Tour." “They are continuously there for me and as we embark on the ‘Chapter V World Tour,’ I plan on giving them the experience of a lifetime.” So all you Trigga feinds can catch the singer in a city near you when he kicks off his world tour November 17th.
Trey will be joined by Miguel and Elle Varner during the US leg of the tour. Trey said, “I can’t think of anyone else I would rather share my stage with, than two artists who are at the forefront of our genre, Miguel and Elle Varner. We’re moving R&B forward and I look forward to touching so many cities and countries over the coming months.” An excited Elle Varner added, “I’m thankful that Trey has given me this opportunity and I am so excited to be on a tour with two of the dopest artists in R&B. The rumors were true! Reggie Bush has officially confirmed that he'll soon become a daddy! Find out what he said about it inside.... Miami Dolphins runningback, Reggie Bush, revealed on the Paul and Young Ron Show today that rumors of him becoming are father are indeed true. He revealed, "I have a little one on the way. We're pretty excited. We haven't found out if its a boy or a girl. It's an opportunity to raise a child. That's the most special gift for a man and a woman."
According to reports, Reggie's girlfriend, Lilit Avagyan (pictured above), is about 12 weeks along. Reggie said, "I'm hoping for a boy because if its a girl I'm going straight to the gun shop to buy some guns." Interestingly, Reggie's ex Kim K. & her new boyfriend Kanye West are supposedly shopping for a $10 mill mansion together...in Miami where Kim's shooting her next reality show. The two visited 4 homes yesterday. The news about house shopping in Miami conveniently hit certain media sites the day after the rumors came out of Reggie expecting a baby. Cassie's been rocking a fat diamond ring on her ring finger for several months now, even tweeting out a picture of the sparkler itself at one point. And even though the internet streets have already unofficially confirmed that Diddy & Cassie are engaged, Diddy's first baby moms, Misa Hylton, gave an indirect confirmation today as well.

Misa Hylton interviewed with the Power 99 crew today and gave some interesting insight into raising her own son, Justin Combs, and how she feels about Diddy & Cassie's journey to the altar. The host asked "Are you affected by the fact that Diddy's MARRYING Cassie." Misa didn't clear up the word "marry," and simply answered the question. Did she miss the word marry...or are the twosome actually getting married and Misa thought it was already a known fact? Hmmm....
Here's the highlights: On whether she's affected by Diddy MARRYING Cassie "No I love Cassie. I like Cassie for him. She's a very nice girl. She's talented she's beautiful and she's really nice to him and to my son. And that's all I can ask for." On raising a great son, Justin "I raised him in the same way I was raised. Yes, his dad is very successful and I always wanted Justin to not be an entitled kid and to work hard. my hard work has paid off because he did receive a scholarship, he currently has a 4.0 GPA at UCLA and he's excelling. He's a great kid and a humble kid." On being pissy about the scrutiny of Justin's scholarship "Of course. I'm a mother. I was ready to fight, I'm not gonna lie, everybody. It comes with the territory and we're always under scrutiny. Opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one. I wanted to protect my son. I wanted him to feel proud about his accomplishments. It's very important that he understands that he deserves what he earns from his own hard work. His father works hard and earned everything he has, and Justin has to do the same thing. My main concern is how he felt about it and he's fine because he's got two great parents that have his back." On why she is friends with Diddy's other baby mamas "[Diddy & I] are not together anymore and [his other kids] are my son's siblings. It's important for him to have a relationship with them. And for me to have a relationship with them for my son. That's just how I am as a person."

Move over Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj, Mama Jones is getting into the fragrance game and she wants you to smell her PumKásh. Watch the commercial for the scent inside.... "Ya'll know how p*ssy smell....we put that -ish in a bottle!" That's how Mama Jones describes her new fragrance PumKásh which is a combination of the words PumPum and Cash (Because PumPum makes money--her explanation, not ours). In the commercial for the scent, Mama Jones walks into a club and all the men are captured by the allure of her PumKash (the scent of a woman). She's been trying to get her son Jim Jones & future daughter-in-law Chrissy to sign on to this mess on the "Chrissy & Mr. Jones" show. No word yet on when this ish hits shelves......
