MTV In Talks To Film Jersey Shore Clean-Up Special Following Hurricane Sandy

A show insider explains it all, saying MTV really wants to get the Jersey Shore gang together for a clean-up special in Seaside Heights following the devastation of Hurricane asshole Sandy.

Luckily, the Jersey Shore house was able to survive the storm, but countless other homes lost themselves in the Frankestorm. And that's where MTV wants to come in and help.

Revealing the plans, the source explains:

"The honchos at the network think it would be a tremendous boost for Seaside Heights as the town begins to rebuild to have the kids be a part of it. Of course, this is all in the very early stages at this point and these are very informal talks that are underway. Interestingly, the producers think they won't have any problems getting Snooki, Deena and J-WOWW to agree, it's the boys they are concerned with getting, especially The Situation. However, it wouldn't be necessary to have the entire cast reunite if the project does go forward."

We agree!

Yes, it would be wonderful if everyone could come together in the name of community service, but if they can't, we'll still enjoy watching it!

...okay, that's mostly true. J-WOWW and Snooki have to say yes, LOL! And preferably Pauly D too.

You know... when he's not too busy getting caught up in all that Vegas lesbian action...

Oliver Stone Blasts Obama And Romney Over Climate Change After Sandy!

Hurricane Sandy was brutal, and our hearts go out to those that lost their homes, towns, and unfortunately -- family members. Many things should come from this, including people beginning to take future warnings seriously, better preparation, and hopefully we'll be seeing the aftermath support and clean-up meet the challenge.

Director Oliver Stone wants something else to come from it too. He wants President Obama and Mitt Romney to stop ignoring the problems and turn their stances around on climate change to face it head on.

Here's what he said:

"I was a little disappointed at the third debate when neither of them talked about climate control and the nature of the situation on earth. I think there's a kind of a weird statement coming right after it. This is a punishment. Mother Nature cannot be ignored. That's all I thought about. The storm will pass. The campaign will pass. But unfortunately the nature of this present world situation will not."

We agree that regardless of stance, this is something that should be discussed. Unfortunately we think it's probably too late to include it in the election discussion, when it should have been talked about all along.

Also, when it comes to climate change, it shouldn't matter who is right or wrong if it results in looking into alternative and renewable energy sources. Even if somehow tons of scientists are wrong about how we're negatively effecting our planet's climate, wouldn't you want to take care of the Earth anyway?

It might be nice to live somewhere cleaner! Ha!

While our hearts still go out to those affected by the superstorm known as Hurricane Sandy, it's good to see some folks making the best of the situation.

A local news reporter and her crew got an unexpected surprise when a couple of residents decided to add some Gangnam Style to the news.

Though the clip is VERY short, that hasn't stopped the internet from going CRAZZZZY! Memes, spoofs, and other homages have turned this news report into a viral hit!

Was this a last-ditch effort to tighten up that bod before debuting a scandalous Halloween costume tonight?? ?

Carly Rae Jepsen & Owl City's Adam Young's Sneaky, Illegal, And Thieving Good Time?

According to the allegations within one recently filed lawsuit, Carly Rae Jepsen and Adam Young are thieves!

Music thieves!!

An Alabama-based singer, Allyson Nichole Burnett, claims the Canadian pop-superstar and the Owl City frontman ripped off one of her songs to make the ultra-successful Good Time!

What!? We adore Carly and Adam!

We sincerely hope these claims aren't true!

We're tunable to track down Allyson's 2010 track Ah, It's a Love Song, but our first instinct is "innocent until proven guilty."

The legal mumbo-jumbo is confusingly worded, but this is what the complaint said:

"Defendants' extensive access to 'Love Song' is sufficient to trigger the 'inverse ration rule,' whereby a reduced standard of proof of substantial similarity is required when a high degree of access is shown. However, the substantial similarity between the Original Motif and the Copied Motif... is striking under any standard of proof."

Sadly, we live in a world where successful people are often sued on the off-chance that money can be squeezed out of them!

Perhaps some saw Carly Rae's über-lucrative 2012 as an engraved invitation to sue her, maybe!

Red princess, Taylor Swift, is definitely no stranger to airing out her exes' dirty laundry and sharing her break up tales!

In December's issue of Cosmo, Swifty opened up about her past relationships... though, she wouldn't get TOO specific!

Not only did Taylor state that she cannot tolerate cheating, but she revealed one thing she's learned from her previous lovers -- when to back away!

Taylor vaguely stated:

"I've had a lot of dark and twisty situations happen. Enough to realize that when someone exhibits signs of evoking a dark and twisty relationship and dark and twisty feelings, it's not interesting to me."

Hmm... dark and twisty? Tell us more, TayTay!

Who could Taylor possibly be referring to??? We hope her summer fling with Conor Kennedy didn't evoke those feelings!

Though, we're glad Mz. Swift has grown and has come to realize when a relationship could potentially turn out to be dangerous!

We previously told you that Selena Gomez has been back on set for the Wizards Of Waverly Place reunion flick and it looks like she's been spending some QT with one co-star in particular -- Gregg Sulkin!

Gregg will be returning as Mason in the hour-long special, The Wizards Return: Alex Versus Alex, which is set to premiere in 2013!
