Frank Ocean mysteriously posted a vague message leading some folks to believe he may be quitting music. Find out what he said inside and get the details on Sway's interview with President Obama about music and its impact on politics.
Frank Ocean posted a very vague message on his Tumblr saying,
This post has led some to believe he may be leaving music.....or seeking attention. Earlier, he said that quitting is the new black...so maybe he is following a trend.
It's likely just another rant (maybe someone upset him) as he has also posted about how much fun he is having recording in Hawaii this week.

President Obama chatted with MTV's Sway for a talk about politics and music. President Obama talks about Bob Marley raising his political awareness saying, "I remember in college listening, and not agreeing with his whole philosophy necessarily, but raising my awareness of how people outside of our country were thinking about the struggle for jobs and dignity and freedom." He added, We haven't seen as much directly political music. You know, I think the most vibrant musical art form right now over the last 10, 15 years has been hip-hop. Some folks have kind of dabbled in political statements, but a lot of it has been more cultural than political. You've got folks like Springsteen who are still putting out very strong political statements, but I'd like to see a more explicit discussion of the issues that are out there right now, because music's such a powerful mechanism."

Christina Milian dressed in teal and pink yesterday to launch her new Halloween cocktail Hpnotiq Harmonie.
Her Rainbow Bright-styled costume turned heads for its vibrant colors.
Christina has been busy in the studio working on her debut for Lil' Wayne's Young Money label.
Christina also posted on Facebook a pic of she and Violet in their "monster" costumes. She said, Halloween in full swing. My daughter already has her pose DOWN!

Ciara had a big night in NYC last evening as she debuted her new "Got Me Good" video and attended a private dinner for the video and toasted her 27th birthday. See the pics inside...
Ciara headed to New York's Times Square for the debut of her "Got Me Good" video outside the Hard Rock Cafe last night.
Ciara watched in delight as fans cheered the video's debut on the Megatron.

Last night, Ciara was spotted heading to 15 Watt street where she attended a private dinner for the debut of her "Got Me Good" video.
CiCi, who was also celebrating her 27th birthday, was joined by BFF LaLa Anthony.
The group also toasted her upcoming One Woman Army album.
At the end of the dinner, a cake was brought out to celebrate the birthday girl.

Rapper Lil' Wayne was hospitalized after suffering a second seizure and treated at a hospital in Louisiana. Get the details inside...
Earlier we told you about Lil' Wayne suffering a seizure while aboard a private jet in Texas (though his reps claimed it was dehydration) and now the rapper has suffered a second seizure aboard a plane. After being treated in Texas for the first seizure, Weezy boarded a flight from Texas to LAX and began to experience a second seizure. The flight was diverted to Louisiana and Weezy was treated at a local hospital. Sources say he will be released soon.... |

Actor and tv personality Terrence J has signed on to star in David E. Talbert's Baggage Claim with Paula Patton, Derek Luke, and Lauren London. He tweeted, "I just signed on for a new movie...." and "Super excited to join Paula Patton and the rest of the amazing cast of Baggage Claim!!! #Godisgood" Terrence J joins a long list of Black Hollywood talent in the film which also includes Jill Scott and Djimon Hounsou. Terrence will play the fiance of Paula Patton's sister.
In other movie news.....
Actress Zoe Saldana was spotted on the set of Nina in LA yesterday.
Zoe's skin has been darkened/bronzed to give her a richer skin tone for the flick which will focus on Nina's rise to fame and relationship with her manager Clifton Henderson.
Because Zoe doesn't resemble Nina in the least bit, her acting chops will really have to surpass the negative press she's received for her casting.

Singer and mother Alicia Keys has unveiled an inspirational song named "Unlock Yourself." The track is the theme for her new storytelling iPhone/iPad app for kids The Journals of Mama Mae and LeeLee. On the track, she reminds kids to be true to themselves. Australian X Factor judge Mel B was spotted showing off her six-pack and toned body as she sipped a glass of white wine aboard a yacht in Sydney Harbor yesterday with her husband Stephen.
It's great to see Mel in good spirits after she recently broke down on a UK documentary about the Spice Girls over her failed relationship with her mom. The fun-loving couple also took dives off the boat with Mel B tweeting, "@stephenthinks11 time to jump yeh yeh yeh live you honey." And Stephen tweeted "LOVE IN PURE FORM!!"
Despite the fun, Mel woke up feeling ill this morning as she tweeted, 'Woke up nor feeling too good at all,it's a stay in bed day for me with baby madi!!! #blowsnosenonestop.'

Last night, Chris Brown quite literally stepped out in styled as he arrived to David Furnish's 50th Birthday Bash in his new $750K Lamborghini. Chris put together a Dolce & Gabbana suit and YSL Leopard Print Loafers for a stunningly chic look.
The party for Elton John's hubby was held at the Belasco Theatre in LA. During an MTV special called "This is How I Made It," (airing Saturday, October 27 at 12pm ET) Breezy reflected over his stellar success since the 2009 incident with Rihanna saying, "For me to have that achievement [of winning a Grammy Award], and to go through people's whole opinions changing of me, to get personal opinion back and having to gain personal success back – it's not all the way back, you know – but it's been one of my most humbling experiences."
