It's hands down one of our fave movies of all time. So check out Stacey Dash & Donald Faison (who have barely aged since those "You jeepin' behind my back?" days) having a major Clueless reunion with the whole cast for Entertainment Weekly.... In the recent issue of Entertainment Weekly, the mag's Reunion Special features the cast of the 1995 classic Clueless movie. So during their interview with "GMA" about the issue, Stacey Dash & Donald Faison gave us a peek into their roles as Dionne & Murray, and they spilled a few secrets with co-stars Breckin Meyer, Alicia Silverstone and the rest of the cast. The cast also remembered Brittany Murphy in a fun-loving way. Stacey commented about the fashion in the movie saying, "That [black & white topper) hat! I thought it was very fashionable. I felt like Audrey Hepburn.
Highlights from the issue: Stacey on playing a high schooler at 27 “I was 27, and I was playing this high school student and I had a son at home who was six years old.” Donald on Clueless being a surprise hit *Everybody’s expectations were low. When we were making the movie, you don’t think the movie’s going to be good. You think, I’m making the next License to Drive. You think this movie’s going to be just for teenagers and that’s it.” Donald on the lingo that infiltrated an entire teen culture “I had no idea what the hell I was saying. What the f— is a ‘Monet’? What’s ‘going postal’ mean? And when they explained to me what it meant, I thought, ‘That’s really messed up!’” Loves it all! |

Halle Berry and Queen Latifah were among the honorees celebrated at Variety's 4th Annual Power Of Women Event in LA last night. See the fab photos inside....
With her hot fiance Olivier Martinez on her arm, and her huge emerald engagement ring on her finger, Halle Berry attended Variety's 4th Annual Power Of Women Event at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in LA last night. The event celebrated women who are doing extraordinary work in their communities. Halle was honored, in her fitted black dress, for her work with The Jenesse Center which promotes awareness about domestic abuse.
Halle looked gorge in a Roland Mouret dress.
During the evening, she reflected on a conversation she had with the Jenesse Center president saying, "I know I have to be here right now because I've been arrested...but I will never leave this place. I will take this very embarrassing negative in my life and I will turn it into a positive. Because I know that's why this happened to me...what I realized is that it was God's way, it was the universe's way of telling me, 'You're not doing enough.'"
Halle posed with fellow actresses Jessica Biel and Jennifer Garner.
She also posed with Noah's Arc actress Jennia Fredrique.
And Jennia took a pic with music sensation Justin Timberlake (his fiancee Jessica Biel was honored). Steel Magnolias producer Queen Latifah was honored for her work with the Lancelot H. Owens Scholarship Foundation (founded in memory of her brother). She also got good news that a judge has denied the lawsuit seeking to stop Steel Magnolias from airing.
Later, Queen Latifah posed with Warner Bros. President of Worldwide Marketing Sue Kroll, Jessica Biel, Felicity Huffman, Katherine Heigl and Maria Menounos.
Paula Patton also attended the event in a purple and black number and celebrated Halle and Queen Latifah.
X-Men: The Last Stand star Dania Ramirez showed off her superhero figure.

Queen Latifah was spotted leaving the hotel.

Brooklyn's own Jay-Z posted a picture perfect photo to his Life+Times website. He's seemingly on top of the world overlooking the new home of the Brooklyn Nets--the Barclays Center.
Check out the pic, plus the trailer for tonight's live stream of his concert finale... He calls it 'The house that Hov built,' and he's pretty much right. Even as only part owner of the Nets on paper, Jay has been the most influential in not only bringing the team to his hometown, but constructing the much needed publicity for the new NBA team. He posted the above pic of himself overlooking the arena, with the title "No Ceilings," saying:
And tonight, he rocks the Barclays Center stage for the last of his 8 sold out concerts. We're not sure what happened to the chick who hated deodorant and sheer clothes, but Russell Simmons played around the ocean yesterday with his usual "exotical" type who rocked a white bikini. And the twosome indeed were acting like as much of a couple as Russell usually does with his girls:

Hopefully Bow Wow's "106 & Park" checks will start coming in soon as it's just been uncovered that the rapper owes his creditors $283K for his 2005 Ferrari. Get the deets inside....
While Bow Wow's baby momma was chasing him for child support (based on his claimed $4,000 a month salary) a collection agency was after him for not paying for his 2005 Ferrari F430. Bow Wow leased the car in 2008 and quickly defaulted on the bill. The company sued him and won a judgment for $216,084 in 2009. And now that the interest has grown, he owes $283,785 for the vehicle. And since he told his custody judge that he only has $1,500 in the bank, which is now seeming more true, it seems like he'll be spending most of his new salary climbing out of debt. Or at least we hope he will.

Rihanna, who was just voted the most "Liked" person on Facebook (61,577,789 likes and growing), has released a promo ad for her NUDE fragrance. The scent is expected to hit shelves in November.

Actress Keke Palmer joined hundreds of girls and their mothers in Times Square today to kick off the 3rd Annual Dove Self-Esteem Weekend. The nationwide rally hopes to spark an open discussion among women about self-esteem, confidence and beauty:
Keke talked about her own struggles recently saying, "Even though I'm in the industry and I act and all this stuff, I still suffer from self-esteem issues ... from the way that I look or the way that I talk ... just nitpicking at myself." She hopes that young girls can "...find healthier ways to have a relationship with beauty and not to have so much anxiety about living up to other people's expectations."
Also, DOVE wants to encourage women to speak to the young girls in their lives to create an open dialogue this weekend and beyond.
During the event Keke posed with Dr. Mona Gohara, Alexis Tirado, Toni Blackman and Jess Weiner.

Tia Mowry hit the red carpet at STYLE channel's 4th Annual Give & Get Fete at the SLS hotel in Beverly Hills last night. And she looked sophisticated and simply stunning pairing her freshly chopped hair with a dipped hem black lace dress. She also revealed why she went for the big hair chop.

Looking fabulous in this black lace dress and coral suede platform pumps and pop of green clutch, actress Tia Mowry hit the red carpet for a cause last night. At the Give & Get Fete, she chatted up HipHollywood.com about why she made the bold move of chopping almost all of her hair off. The fly chick says it was just her and her stylist in her bedroom--and the scissors were put to work.

A new banger from Brandy just hit the net titled "Let Me Go," off her upcoming Two Eleven disc. Hear the song inside and get the deets of Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank signing a record deal with Atlantic.
With Two Eleven set to drop on October 16th, Brandy continues to create buzz for the disc with the release of new music. Her latest, "Let Me Go" was created with famed producer Bangladesh and written by Sean Garrett. Relying on Lykke Li’s “Tonight” as a sample, the song is for the club and your car. *UPDATED* Ex-NFL baller Larry Johnson has just been arrested for domestic violence--again! Deets inside...
Remember in 2008 when former Kansas City Chiefs runningback Lary Johnson was engaged to "Empire Girls" star and former BET host Julissa Bermudez? And they broke up soon after. Folks wondered if domestic violence had anything to do with it as Larry has a record spanning from 2003-2008 of four arrests stemming from battery of women and DV allegations. Plus, he was sued last year for allegedly beating up a man on Miami Beach. Fast forward to today--and Larry has been arrested yet again! According to TMZ, he was arrested in Las Vegas and taken to Clark County Jail...after he allegedly STRANGLED someone. While he was arrested for domestic violence, the victim has yet to be revealed. His bail has been set at $15,000. On a recent episode of "Empire Girls," Larry re-connected with Julissa and told her he was in a new relationship and saw himself marrying his new woman. No word on if she is the victim. But we bet Julissa is wiping her forehead after dodging this bullet! *UPDATE* Reports now state that the victim is actually Larry's ex girlfriend he dated for 4 years. (Our eyebrow was raised at Julissa but she commented today that Larry's her ex for a reason, so it seems she's NOT the victim.) Larry reportedly strangled the woman to the point of unconsciousness in a room at the Bellagio hotel, according to the victim's report. She was found with bruises & scratches all over her neck. Sad. |

The two went to Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills again for some wining and dining. And a few drinks and plates of Chinese food later, the all-demin Christina left the restaurant and was given a few roses:
They hopped in his silver Lamborghini and rode out. Chris is looking head over heels happy, so something must be right.

Wale arrives with a new track aptly named "Arrival" that will surely please his mixtape fans. The Ceezy of Da Rangerz produced track pays homage to the 70s with an old-school sample while Wale raps about his rise in the music industry. Listen to the track below:

When he isn't in the studio cutting R&B (and sometimes rap bard) hits, singer Trey Songz is making his mark on Hollywood. The singer, who will star in Texas Chainsaw 3D (on screens January 4, 2013), had landed a role in the Fox Searchlight’s adaptation of a David E. Talbert novel. The comedy, named Baggage Claim, focuses on a 35-year-old flight attendant who seeks out a fiance of her own before her sister's engagement party. Playing a record producer, Trey will appear alongside Hollywood heavyweights Taye Diggs, Paula Patton, Derek Luke, Adam Brody, and Djimon Hounsou in the flick which starts shooting this month in Los Angeles. Also......
R. Kelly has dropped a new single called "When A Man Lies." The new song appears on his Write Me Back album.
