Alicia Keys HOSTS "Girl On Fire" Meet-N-Greet In Atlanta

R&B chick Alicia Keys was spotted in Atlanta recently where she hosted a meet-n-greet for her upcoming Girl Of Fire LP.  See pics and video from the event inside.....

Alicia Keys was in Atlanta yesterday where she made her promotional rounds for her upcoming Girl On Fire album (November 27th).  The day ended with Alicia hosting a meet-n-geet at Vanquish Lounge with fans and music industry heavyweights. And she kept to her usual skinny jeans and leather look.

Alicia made friends with a little fan and chatted up the crowd.  Mrs. Keys Beatz is set to take the Black Girls Rock! stage tomorrow night at New York City’s historic Loews Paradise Theater.   The show will air on BET Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

St. Lunatics' Rapper Ali POSTS Conversation With Nelly That One Of The Homies Brought "ECSTASY & WEED" On Tour Bus

Nelly's homie Ali from The St. Lunatics posted a conversation with Nelly where the rapper says he didn't know about drugs being brought on his tour bus in Texas. Find out what Nelly said inside.....

We told you previously about rapper Nelly being detained in Texas and one of his homies getting booked for bringing stashes of heroin, weed and a loaded gun on his tour. Now, Nelly's friend Ali has posted to his Facebook a conversation with Nelly which shows the rapper didn't know about the stash.  And the convo reveals ecstasy was involved.  It goes.....

 

It's good to know Nelly isn't mixed up in this mess.  We're told by a friend of Nelly's that the entourage member Big B, who was arrested, had the stash in a locked duffel bag. We're told the cops knew it was his because he was the one with the key.

POLITICAL FAB: Vice President Joe Biden TACKLES Congressman Ryan On Abortion, The Economy And The Middle Class

Vice President Joe Biden and his perfect teeth took on Congressman Paul Ryan last night in the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate where they debated the economy, social issues and more.  Get the fiery highlights inside....

ABC's Martha Raddatz moderated (and did a fabulous job by the way) the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate last night in Danville, KY where the candidates, Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan, debated a range of issues from foreign and social policies to the economy. 

During the debate, Vice President Biden asked, "Who Do You Trust?" and spent a great deal of his time driving home why he and President Barack Obama are the best choice for America.  Here are the highlights:

On abortion:

BIDEN: The court -- the next president will get one or two Supreme Court nominees. That's how close Roe v. Wade is. Just ask
yourself, with Robert Bork being the chief adviser on the court for -- for Mr. Romney, who do you think he's likely to appoint? Do you think he's likely to appoint someone like Scalia or someone else on the court far right that would outlaw (inaudible) -- outlaw abortion? I suspect that would happen.

On war

BIDEN TO RYAN: HOW WILL YOU PREVENT WAR?

RYAN: We want to prevent war.
BIDEN: And the interesting thing is, how are they going to
prevent war? How are they going to prevent war if they say there's
nothing more that we -- that they say we should do than what we've
already done, number one.

On the economy:

BIDEN: All this talk, we saved a million jobs. 200,000 people are working today, and I've never met two guys who are more down on America across the board. We're told everything's going bad. There are 5.2 million new jobs, private sector jobs. We need more but 5.2 million, but if they would get out of the way, if they'd get out of the way and let us pass the tax cut for the middle class, make it permanent. If they'd get out of the way and pass the jobs bill. If they'd get out of the way and let us allow 14 million people who are struggling to stay in their homes because their mortgages are upside down but they never missed a mortgage payment, just get out of the way. Stop talking about how you care about people. Show me something. Show me a policy. Show me a policy where you take responsibility.

On the 47% of Americans who Romney says don't pay taxes

BIDEN: I've had it up to here with this notion that 47 percent -- it's about time they take some responsibility here. And
instead of signing pledges to Grover Norquist not to ask the wealthiest among us to contribute to bring back the middle class, they should be signing a pledge saying to the middle class we're going to level the playing field; we're going to give you a fair shot again; we are going to not repeat the mistakes we made in the past by having a different set of rules for Wall Street and Main Street, making sure that we continue to hemorrhage these tax cuts for the super wealthy.

They're pushing the continuation of a tax cut that will give an additional $500 billion in tax cuts to 120,000 families. And they're holding hostage the middle class tax cut because they say we won't pass -- we won't continue the middle class tax cut unless you give the tax cut for the super wealthy.  It's about time they take some responsibility.

MORE CAR TROUBLE: Bow Wow Chased Down For Fees After His Lambo Was REPOSSESSED!

Bow Wow is already being chased down for the back-payments he owes on his leased '05 Ferrari.  Now, Mr. 106 & Park owes a bank some serious cash after they had to repossess his Lambo.  Deets inside...

And the money troubles continue for Bow Weezy.  Reports state that he fell behind on his $300,165 business loan he took out for his Lamborghini Murcielago.  He managed to pay up $161K, but when he stopped paying on it, SunTrust Bank repossessed the whip.  Now, they want an extra $25K for the fees they took on in taking back the car & reselling it.

According to TMZ:

It costs roughly $25,000 to repossess and sell a rapper's Lamborghini -- at least according to a Georgia bank, which is now suing Bow Wow for money it spent flipping his ride.

SunTrust Bank filed the lawsuit against Bow Wow -- real name Shad Moss -- claiming he took out a $300,165 business loan, agreeing to 84 monthly payments of $4,730.

According to bank records filed with the lawsuit, Bow Wow fell behind last year. The docs show the bank repossessed the rapper's Lamborghini Murcielago -- and managed to get $161,000.

You'd think that would be the end of it -- but the bank tacked on more than $25,000 for "repossession expenses."

He still owes about $21K.  Oh Bow...

He proved just how modelicious he could be in his GQ magazine cover and spread.  Now, Cam has been tapped to produce a men’s clothing collection with the Charlotte-based Belk Inc.  Mr. Newton, while not a fashion designer, will help produce an exclusive line for the department store and it will be called MADE Cam Newton.  And these are his first promo pics for the line.

The cutie said about the opportunity:

“This whole fashion ordeal is … something I’ve never done before.  They did an unbelievable job of taking my ideas and my fashion and making it a brand.”

The line hits 133 stores February & March 2013.

Nelly -- I Didn't Know My STAFF Brought ILLEGAL ISH On My Tour Bus!

Nelly has spoken out about getting detained last night in Texas for illegal substances.  His statement inside...

After Nelly's homie took the blame for bringing stashes of heroin, weed and a loaded gun on the tour bus last night, the rapper is now revealing exactly what went down.  And he says he had nothing to do with it.  That explains why he and the rest of the passengers were not charged. 

“It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning, October 11th," Nelly said in a just released statement via his reps.

"Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials in Sierra Blanca, Texas did not press charges against anyone other than that individual.”

Like Shaggy said, "It wasn't me."

Beyonce arrived at the dinner in her rumored $1Million customized black mini van at the doorstep of the upper east side hotspot, Elio's, where they dined.

The birthday girl was joined by a slew of celebs including her mother Blythe Danner, Kristen Wiig, Cameron Diaz, Chelsea Handler, Steven Spielberg, Kate Capshaw and Ethan Hawke.

GAME ON: VH1 Announces "Marrying The Game" Reality Series Details

Now that The Game and fiancee Tiffney Cambridge have decided to make that trip down the aisle, VH1 has announced "Marrying The Game" which follows the couple as they prepare for marriage. Deets inside.....


We told you previously about the on-again, off-again wedding of rapper Jayceon Taylor aka The Game and his schoolteacher fiancee Tiffney Cambridge, and now that the wedding is back on...there's a reality show that documents the ups and downs!

VH1 has announced the upcoming debut of "Marrying The Game" which follows the couple's love story of an ambitious 5th grade history teacher who fell in love with a bad boy rapper.  And though the couple have been together eight years and already have two kids together (King Justice (5 years old) and Cali Dream (2 years old), the decision to marry hasn't been an easy one as Tiffney has already called off the nuptials once before due to The Game's "rapper" lifestyle.

Also, the couple's previous "wedding site" was taken offline for the public.  Perhaps they want to keep everything a secret to use for the show?

Fans can check out all the drama and see "if" the couple actually makes it down the aisle on Monday, November 19 at 9:30PM on VH1.

Laura Govan Covers ROLLING OUT, "Basketball Wives: LA" Season 2 Is A RATINGS FLOP

Laura Govan of "Basketball Wives: LA" has her own Rolling Out magazine cover that just dropped.  And it's a follow up to her little sister Gloria's cover shoot with Glo's new husband Matt Barnes.

On what made Laura kick her fitness routine into high gear

“I got lazy after the fourth baby. I said, ‘oh well.’ I got big, f— it. I’m just gonna keep it rolling,” says Laura while having her hair toyed with. “I still ate like I was pregnant for a while. I’m the type of person who says ‘Next Monday, or the 15th,’ that was me. One day my daughter was like ‘you got milk chocolate t—,’ because my nipples were so big and so dark. And then she was playing with my back fat, and it made me say, ‘wait a minute.’ ”

On losing weight naturally instead of surgery

“When I got serious the weight started dropping off. I did my workout throughout my house, because I was uncomfortable going to the gym. I didn’t wanna wear Gilbert’s shirts to the gym, I didn’t want anyone looking at me, period.  After I lost about 20 pounds I went to a doctor and said ‘can you take all of this off?’ He said, ‘No, you need to work out.’ The doctor told me if you lose 50 pounds I’ll do [a tummy tuck] for free in two months. I gave myself three months and lost 64 pounds.”

On whether she lost weight to get Gilbert back

.“My first motivation was to get back at Gilbert like, ‘I’ll show you what you lost.’ But it became more than that. It became about me, it became about my health, and I did something about it."

On her "hard earned" fat engagement ring from fiance' NBA baller Gilbert Arenas

“I work hard, we’ve been together 12 years.  It’s not about the ring size, it’s about what this represents. Had he given me a string and tied it around [my finger], and said words that were meaningful — that would be just as meaningful as a million-dollar ring. That’s not what it’s about for me. It’s about raising a family, having values. Being able to look at each other and like each other. You can love a n—– all day, but if you don’t like him …  You have to learn each other.”

On what she thinks about herself

“I’m real, I’m cute, I’m all-American, girl!”

But it's not all roses from the whole "Basketball Wives LA" cast.  While their inaugural season saw about 2 million viewers per episode, this season is barely half that.  After the premiere a few weeks ago, the show is getting almost a million viewers per episode. 

And with most of the other reality shows getting at least double that on VH1, we can't help but think the L.A. spinoff chicks just may be kicked to the curb soon.

Nelly DETAINED After Tour Bus Raid! Caught With Stashes Of Weed, Heroin & A Loaded Gun

Nelly should be thanking his lucky stars, or good friends who know how to take the wrap if these stashes did belong to him.  All because his tour bus was pulled over and raided at a border patrol checkpoint in Texas.

Nelly and his homies rolled their tour bus past a checkpoint at Sierra Blanca in Texas last night.  And after cops raided the bus and found an insane amount of weed, heroin and a loaded gun aboard, Nelly & all 6 other passengers were detained.  TMZ reports:

We're told cops pulled the bus over -- and after performing a search, they found 36 small baggies of heroin (totaling .64 ounces) and over TEN POUNDS of marijuana inside a large green duffel bag (an amount roughly the size of a large bed pillow).

Cops also say they found a loaded .45 caliber pistol.

But get this--after Nelly's homeboy Brian Keith Jones took the blame for owning all of the illegal stashes, Brian was arrested, and Nelly and the rest of the crew were let go.

Congrats?

 

 

MAGAZINE FAB: The Harrises Channel The Huxtables For IN TOUCH + The Obamas Grace EBONY Magazine's November 2012 Issue

T.I. & Tiny & their horde of kids believe they are the Hip Hop Huxtables.  For some reason.  So they channeled the iconic "Cosby Show" family pic for the new issue of "In Touch Weekly."

 

Check that, plus The Obamas gracing the cover of EBONY Magazine's November 2012 issue...

The "Go Get It" rapper and his singer/former reality star wife Tiny are putting their cute family on full display.  T.I.'s been nothing but the quintessential recovered family man since his latest jail stint.  And we love him for it.

So Clifford Harris--in his Cosby like sweater and chair--Tameka "Tiny" Cottle Harris and their kids Zonnique, Deyja, King, Domani, Major & Messiah all posed it up to resemble the iconi Cosby crew.  And the pic is pretty cute.

But no one's about to start rapping about JELLO pudding shots or anything.  T.I. told In Touch:

"The Huxtables are more conservative, older and from a different environment. But we share unity, strength and prominence.”

We'll give them that.

Meanwhile, President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama are the cover subjects of EBONY magazine's November 2012 issue.  And check out a few highlights from the Obamas' intimate interview less than 30 days before Election Day:

Bobbi Kris & Nick Gordon: "WE'RE ENGAGED!"

After denying for months that the two have any plans to walk down the aisle, Bobbi Kristina Brown & godbrother turned boyfriend, Nick Gordon, have admitted they are engaged.

When Bobbi Kristina posted pics of herself rocking the new diamond & sapphire ring Nick Gordon gave to her, people wondered if they were engaged.  The twosome denied it, but in a clip from their new Lifetime reality show, "The Houstons: On Our Own," it seems they've actually admitted to it.  CHECK OUT THE CLIP HERE.

Krissy can be heard saying "We're engaged!" through nervous laughter.  And the family is in shock.

It's been a while since we've heard from Bobby V.  And the voice that made Lil Wayne's "Mr. Officer" a hit is prepping a new studio album of his own called Dusk Till Dawn. 

 

TheYBF.com has the exclusive premiere of Bobby V.'s brand new video from the album for his single, "Rock Body."  Oh, and the sexual escapade in the video is based on one of Bobby's real situations.  Check it inside...

For his 2 Mill-directed video, Bobby V. is back to his sexual escapades with the ladies.  In the “Rock Body” video (song produced by Jeffrey "J Leron" Toney), filmed in midtown Atlanta at Ramsey's Beauty Salon/Barbershop, Mr. V. is taking advantage of the pretty ladies who come to the barber shop on the daily.

And since this is the actual place where Bobby gets his haircut, it was only right he portrayed an actual "situation" that went down at the shop once.

When Bobby walked into the shop one day, a new intern was at the front desk.  And like most fellas who peep a pretty chick at the barber shop, he just had to take it there.

In the video, Bobby & his leading lady's flirtations get a little heated, and she was fired by the manager on her first day of work.  Check out the real situation that inspired the concept for the video above.
