LaLa Anthony and Rihanna made their separate rounds out in NYC last night.  Check out the NBA wife looking red hot and the golden pop princess inside...

 

LaLa was spotted wining and dining with her cousin Dice and friends at Revel in NYC last night.  And she looked pretty fab in a knee length red cocktail dress and her gold Louboutins:

Loving her hair this color and length.  The Motives For LaLa makeup line owner is gearing up for the 2013 launch of the next season of "LaLa's Full Court Life." 

 

Elsewhere in New York last night, Rihanna was potted copping a rose fromt he flower man outside the club:

And while rocking a washboard tummy bearing black and cold cropped sweater and black pants, the "Diamonds" chick looked he usual fab self:

Rih Rih is doing the most these days with a new single, a new world tour and huge performances on deck like the Women's World Cup game.  Work.

Miguel CHATS It Up With "The Breakfast Club" About The Gay Rumors & Frank Ocean

"Adorn" singer Miguel chatted up The Breakfast Club this morning about the gay rumors, his thoughts on Frank Ocean and his image. Watch the interview inside.....

This morning, R&B crooner Miguel stopped by Power 105.1 to promote the upcoming release of Kaleidoscope Dream (in stores today).  The crew inquored about his "odd" image, the gay rumors and shared his thoughts on R&B guys coming out the closet.  But he will not be one of them as he spent time shooting down the rumors that he is a gay man.

While talking to the hosts about his image, he revealed that he was trying to figure out who he was while still trying to be who the record company believed he should be.  

Miguel revealed, "I was trying to be myself in the midst of being someone else. I'm much more sturdy as a person [now] and I've just found what complements me and who I am."  

Here are the highlights:

On gay rumors:

He said first and foremost, his priority is "the music" and he had to take a step back from people scrutinizing him because he didn't want anything to detract from that.  However, he never addressed how he specifically felt about the rumors and how they made him feel.

On Frank Ocean:

"I think he is an amazingly talented musician."  When asked about Frank "coming out," he added that the "timing" of the announcment was interesting, but as a grown man, he doesn't care about someone else's sexuality.  He also described himself as "an individual who celebrates inviduality".

Original "Steel Magnolias" Producer ACCUSES Lifetime And Sony Pictures Of STIFFING Her Out Of Money And Credits

As with many remakes, drama is a-brewin' for the upcoming Lifetime all-black cast reload of a classic.  The producer of the original Steel Magnolias film is claiming that "remake" producers Sony Pictures and Lifetime Television are stiffing her out of money and on-screen credit for the new flick. Get the deets inside....

 

Victoria L. White, the executive producer of the original 1989 film Steel Magnolias, is suing Lifetime Television and Sony Pictures for their upcoming remake of her hit film. In the suit, she claims she has a "Television agreement" that entitles her to a co-producer or co-executive producer credit on any TV project based on the flick.  She adds that the agreement also provides her with cash including a $15,000 fee, plus up to 3.75% of net profits.  And she got none of that.

Victoria says Sony can't pretend they didn't know about it because they ALREADY followed the agreement in 1992 when they remade the film for CBS.

Victoria wants to stop the film, starring Queen Latifah and Phylicia Rashad, from airing on Oct. 7, unless she gets what she deserves.

SPOTTED: Chad Johnson & AJ Johnson Grab Lunch & A Smile

Newly divorced Chad Johnson was spotted getting back to smiling as he grabbed lunch with his good friend, AJ Johnson.  Check out the twosome inside...

 

Former NFLer and former quickie husband of Evelyn Lozada was spotted in Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood yesterday grabbing grub with his homegirl AJ Johnson.  We doubt it's anything romantic like some sites are reporting, especially because the two have Tweeted pics with each other for a while essentially referring to each other as "brother and sister."

And after Chad's new plea of No Contest to those domestic violence assault charges after his situation with Ev, looks like AJ is there to cheer him up.

The Daily Mail reported on where Chad's case currently stands:

He avoided jail after striking a plea deal with prosecutors, and the judge ordered Chad to have no direct or indirect contact with his ex-wife, including 'no email, Twitter, or text.'

Evelyn was not in court, but the state's attorney told the judge: 'She did not wish that he be incarcerated and she was fully aware of the terms of the plea and in agreement with them.'

Chad will still have to pay restitution but the sum has yet to be decided as lawyers are 'waiting on one additional medical bill.'
 

Hopefully both he and Ev have learned plenty of lessons from this debacle.

Solange has released the visual for her brand new "Losing You" track.  Watch the video inside....

Solange released the video for her "Losing You" single earlier today.  The clip was directed by Alan Del Rio Ortiz and filmed in a few cities in South Africa.  As for the colorful, vintage fashionista vibe, Solo said:

"We used Mickalene's work as the initial foundation, and built upon our looks based off of her wonderful use of colors, prints and textures. So everything that we're wearing is a reflection of that."

In the vid, Solange and her pals are running the streets of Cape Town locations, making stops at food trucks, riding bikes, and playing at open arenas and fields.  

Also, Solange and co. wore clothing from Kenzo, Opening Ceremony, DVF, J Crew and Suno as she danced around the streets of South African cities.  Loves it all.

Ciara sang her latest single "Sorry" during a performance in South Africa yesterday.  And KeKe Palmer performed live on "106 & Park" today. Watch the performances inside....

As she preps for the winter release of her One Woman Army on Epic, Ciara performed the disc's lead single "Sorry" in South Africa last night.  Towards the end of the track, she taught the audience the lyrics to the song.  Later, she tweeted, "Soo Happy When I'm Here!....SA"

Up next for Ciara is "Got Me Good" which she shot in Los Angeles last week. And for fans anticipating her album, she describes it as "...not about being over-independent, but it does represent my independence as a woman and it represents my strength. It represents where I stand with love. It represents what I want out of life as a woman. It's all of that in one and more."

Lil Scrappy ARRESTED!

Rapper & "Love & Hip Hop ATL" star Lil Scrappy got caught up by the police again.  He was arrested this afternoon in Atlanta.  Deets inside...

Sources are reporting that Lil Scrappy was handcuffed on the side of the road today after violating probation.  Mr. Darryl Kevin Richardson II was taken into custody at DeKalb County Jail. 

The 28-year-old's mugshot is above.  Scrappy tweeted just 2 hours ago:

As for what he was on probation for?  It's unclear at this time.  Good luck with that Scrappy....

Bow Wow Debuts As NEW 106 & PARK HOST, Plus Paigon, Shorty Da Prince & Miss Mykie

Rocsi & Terrence wrapped their last day as the hosts of BET's "106 & Park" this past Friday. And today, the new era took over as 4 new hosts made their debut. Check 'em out inside...

"Mr. 106 & Park" Bow Wow is one of the four official new hosts of "106".  And it's a toss up on if this was a great lateral move for him.  The Young Money rapper will be a permanent host on the show daily.  But he held it down on day 1 of the new era.

Also on the new host team--Detroit native Paigon & STL's Shorty Da Prince.  The twosome campaigned together via social media for the past several months to get voted by the viewers to become the new hosts.  And after several guest hosting trials, the twosome have nabbed the job in an official capacity.

The fourth host is Howard University alum & Houston native Miss Mykie.  And she also is known for trying to launch a rap career.

All four will be the new hosts--a jump from the traditional male/female duo the show has had for years.  You feelin' this?

HARVEST TIME: Halle Berry & Gabe Take Nahla To The Pumpkin Patch!

Halle Berry & her ex-Gabriel Aubrey put their bitter custody battle aside--for a few hours--to take their precious baby girl Nahla to the pumpkin patch yesterday.

Over at the pumpkin patch in Simi Valley, CA yesterday, mommy Halle & daddy Gabriel Aubrey grabbed some snacks for little Nahla as she played around at the pumpkin patch.

Looks like Olivier sat this family outing out.

Adorbs.  Halle & Olivier were spotted house shopping in the L.A. area this weekend as well.  Maybe for a joint home for after they get married--in addition to what they'll have in Paris if the judge actually allows them to move there with Nahla.

Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade WORK IT OUT At CRITICAL BIKE MASS In Miami

Fashionable couple Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union donned their sweats are rode bikes around the city of Miami for a big event in recently....with Gabby refueling with a Corona!  See the pics inside....

Dwyane Wade and girlfriend Gabrielle Union participated in Critcal Mass Miami on Friday night. t's an even where over 2,000 riders get together to bike through the city for fun and awareness every last Friday of the month. 

D-Wade tweeted, "#CriticalMasslife... The bike crew," while Gabby tweeted, "THE MOST FUN IN MIAMI! #CriticalMassMiami @DwyaneWade @MistaDubb @alfonsoisaverb @aefrikan yeahhh"

They cycled along the 12 mile course through places like Little Havana and Coral Way before ending at downtown bar The Filling Station where folks were offered $3 beers. Gabby copped a Corona! Who needs water?

And on Saturday, Dwyane tweeted a pic from a bike shop saying, "We bout that life."  Great to see the couple inspiring fans to get healthy.

YBF chick KeKe Palmer is making her rounds today to promote her new mixtape and her new Lifetime movie.  Check out the pretty gal inside rocking a cute and flirty look on the streets of New York...

In a blush/nude soft pleated skirt mini dress with a black collar and her fave black pumps, KeKe Palmer made her way to the media stops around Manhattan.

The singer/actress is on a promo escapade as she just released her self titled mixtape, and is also gearing up for the premiere of her Lifetime movie, The Carlina White Story, this Saturday.

She'll also be performing on the new "106 & Park" tonight as BET reveals the new hosts.  Will you be watching?

HELLO BROOKLYN!  The first pic of the Brooklyn Nets all suited up in their brand new uniforms and ready to take the Barclays Center by storm has hit the net!  See the photo inside and watch New York bred Nas' voting PSA.

Deron Williams has posted the first photo of he and his teammates, the Brooklyn Nets, suited up in their black and white.  Part-owned by Jay-Z, the team, whose home turf will be the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY,  are coached by Avery Johnson. Team ballers Kris Humphries and Jerry Stackhouse are also known names on the team.   In case you were wondering-- the team's official mascots are the Brooklyn Knight and Sly the Silver Fox. 

Their first game of the pre-season will be against the 76ers on October 13.  You ready?

Rapper Nas has teamed up with OurTime.org to film his first voting PSA.  In the video, he talks about why he votes and why he loves the power:

"The future of this country is in the hands of the young people. We have the power, we can go to the polls in droves and vote to get the person we want. As a voter, now that I voted, I feel so much power that I didn't feel before. Like, what I say matters."

OurTime.org is a non-partisan, non-profit, youth empowerment organization that is currently registering people to vote.

Keyshia Cole & Boobie Gibson Rock JET's Cover With Baby DJ + The Fam Celebrates KEYSHIA COLE DAY In Oakland

It's a family affair for the Gibsons!  Keyshia Cole and her two favorite guys are covering the new issue of JET magazine.  Check out Keyshia swing her long blonde ponytail to the cover inside, plus what went down during her 5th annual Keyshia Cole Day celebration....

Keyshia Cole Gibson, her NBA baller husband Daniel "Boobie" Gibson and their 2-and-a-half-year-old son, Daniel Jr., are covering the upcoming issue of JET magazine, on stands today.

For the cover, Keyshia got a bit dramatic with the blond bangs and super long blonde ponytail.  The happy fam is gearing up for their new BET reality show, "Family First" and have no problem publicly gushing their love for each other.  Here's a few highlights:

On how Daniel shows love for his wife

"Keyshia's been through a lot with her mother and her family; so her whole make up is built around being a strong woman.  I'm just trying to show her that I can be there for her."

On Keyshia's appreciation of Daniel showing her love her in front of others

TV FAB: Tyler Perry Strikes Multi-Year EXCLUSIVE DEAL With Oprah's OWN + Cedric The Entertainer's New Gig

Media mogul Tyler Perry has linked up with Oprah Winfrey's OWN for a multi-year partnership which will include 2 new scrpted television series. Get the deets inside and find out about Cedric the Entertainer's new gig...

 

It was only a matter of time before these two besties got together on a huge business level. 

Oprah Winfrey's OWN and Tyler Perry announced today an exclusive partnership which will bring Tyler's all new television series and projects, including two new scripted series, to OWN in 2013. These will be the first original scripted series for OWN and Tyler will produce, write and direct both series.

Oprah spoke about the deal saying,

“I have been looking forward to the day when we would be in the position to enter the world of scripted television. That day has come.  We are all energized by the opportunity to collaborate with Tyler who has a proven track record for producing highly successful cable series. He has an incredible ability to illuminate life stories and characters in his unique voice and inspires and encourages people all over the world.”

 

Tyler added, "It's a dream realized to partner with Oprah and bring scripted programming to OWN.  She has accomplished so much with the network and I'm excited to work with her to be a part of its continued growth."

Folks over at the network are excited about the partnership too.  WHo wouldn't be excited about a man who knows how to rake in the major dollars (whether you like his shows or not) on the boob tube.   David Zaslav, president and CEO of Discovery Communications said,

“Bringing Tyler Perry exclusively to OWN is a major coup. Today’s announcement demonstrates the power of the Oprah brand to attract some of the biggest names in television and film to OWN.  OWN’s growth over the past nine months has been nothing short of phenomenal and, with the continued support of our advertising and affiliate partners, this bold move into scripted entertainment positions OWN to continue that momentum going forward.”

In other television news......

Funnyman Cedric the Entertainer, who currently stars in his own sitcom, TV LAND's "Soul Man," has signed on for a guest appearance on the CBS comedy “2 Broke Girls.”  It's one of our faves so this should be good.

He will play "Darius," the son of Garrett Morris’ character Earl.  His appearance comes on the sixth episode of the new season, which airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on CBS.  Nice.

It's RIHANNA!  Robyn Rihanna Fenty posted the above photo today from her baby years in Saint Michael, Barbados.  And she was seen arriving to her midtown Manhattan hotel today holding several childhood pics and pics with her late grandmother.

The pop chick hasn't changed much in the facial features department....so that could have been a dead giveaway. 

Rihanna's set to perform at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup next weekend in the country of Azerbaijan.
