Roc nation star Melanie Fiona has released the second single of her upcoming album The MF Life and it features J. Cole. Listen to the track inside and see the cover art for Chris Brown's Fortune album.

Melanie Fiona, who drops The MF Life on March 20, has released “This Time,” a collabo with her Roc Nation labelmate J. Cole.

Chris Brown has released the cover art for his next album Fortune (due out May 8th).  He tweeted:

I hope this album shows growth and positivity to all my fans and will inspire them to live life to the fullest!!!

He added,

Lil' Kim, Wale, Robin Thicke & More RIP THE RUNWAY For BET

Last night, the Queen Bee hit the stage for BET's 2012 "Rip The Runway" mixing fashion and music.  Others who rocked the event were Robin Thicke, host Selita Ebanks, Wale, and more.  See the pics inside.

Rocking leather and lace, Lil' Kim walked the red carpet for BET's Rip The Runway held at the Hammerstein Ballroom last night.

Though she looks a little bit thrown together on the red carpet, she pulled it together for the performance. 


 

She had the crowd's full attention as she performed "Crush On You," "It's All About the Benjamins," and "If You Love Me."

Angela Simmons donned a blue dress with a black leather jacket on the red carpet.


 

Diggy Simmons, B.oB. and Wale also walked the red carpet. 

Jeremih kept it simple with a black and white theme.

Robin Thicke also hit the stage and performed.

Wale and Jeremih later rocked the stage as models (showcasing the hottest fashions) strutted during their performance.

Selita Ebanks (who hosted the show) gave a little Angelina Jolie with her leg stance.

"The Game" star Pooch Hall (who posed with Stephen Hill) co-hosted the show with Selita.

Estelle wore a sharp red suit (and she later performed).

Emily B was there rocking her furry black slingbacks.

Guyana walked the red carpet with NFL player Bryant Mckinnie.

Designer Monif C was also among the folks whose fashions were showcased.

And designer Samantha Black also hit up the event to show off her collection.

In a gorgeous white sheer and embroidered robe-style gown, Tracee Ellis Ross tapped into her fabulously colorful side for the March 2012 issue of UPTOWN Magazine.

Diana Ross' baby girl is officially grown and sexy.  The 39-year-old "Reed Between the Lines" actress told UPTOWN about the point she finally realized this was her life to live...and she started living her own life. 

And it also sounds like she and her boyfriend Bu Thiam (Akon's little brother) may be working on some babies at some point:

On the difference between Carla Reed and Joan Clayton:

“I enjoyed playing a different role. Carla is so different from Joan. And I am at a different point in my life. Joan and Carla are pieces of me. But I am much more than both of them. Joan was a very specific piece of me. She was neurotic, faithless, and afraid, which lends itself to some really good humor. Carla is the evolved version of Joan. She has the love that Joan was looking for, so it creates humor from a different place.”

 

On taking risks:

“As a younger person, my philosophy was jump off a cliff. I realize now that there are stairs and elevators. I am learning every day to allow the space between where I am and where I want to be to inspire me and not terrify me. I can even ask for help! Not feeling that I have to know everything, and that’s where the growth comes in, in the not knowing.”

 

On her "lily pad moment":

“It’s the time when you come above water and you are aware of your surroundings,” she explains. “I was thinking: Oh my! This is my life? How did I get here? And better yet, what am I going to do with it?”

 

On becoming a mom:

“I got it from my mother. She always wanted children. I feel like she created space on the planet for us before we got here.”

“Oh, God yeah. I want to be a mom. But, obviously, this stuff happens in God’s time and not mine.”

Newcomer Starshell's "Birthday Girl" Behind-The-Scenes Video

Mary J Blige's artist Starshell is out with her new single "Birthday Girl" and we have the first look at some behind the scenes video footage of her shoot. Watch it inside....

23-year-old Starshell hit the scene back in 2008 when she signed to Universal via Mary J Bliges' Matriarch Record company.  In 2009, she co-penned “I Can See in Color” and “Closer” for her mentor Mary J.  And now she's out with her second single, "Birthday Girl."

Yesterday, Diddy showed love to upcoming artist Starshell tweeting,

Michael Jordan shown above with fiance Yvette Prieto, placed his long-time Chicago mansion on the market for a whopping $29 million. Get the deets on his fab place inside.....

If you have a spare $29M lying around and don't mind living in the Chicago suburbs, Michael Jordan may have a deal for you.


 

The Hall of Famer has listed his 56,000 sq. ft. Highland Park mansion.  It comes with nine bedrooms, 15 full baths, four half baths and five fireplaces.

And for the basketball fan, there's also an attached indoor b-ball complex. The court has a full-size regulation court with cushioned hardwood floors, adjustable backstops and baskets, and a booming sound system.  It's like your own arena!

And if that isn't enough, the property comes with a three-bedroom guesthouse, an indoor-outdoor entertaining and pool area, an outdoor tennis court, a putting green, a deep water pond and three climate-controlled garages that hold 15 cars.  Well damn.  But expect property taxes to run you $165,224. 

And there's no word yet on when MJ is walking down the aisle, but Yvette recently celebrated her boo's 49th birthday!

MOMMY & ME: Nia Long & Baby Kez Sunday Grab Groceries

New mom (again) Nia Long was spotted out in L.A. doing some grocery shopping at Whole Foods.  And she brought her brand new baby boy Kez Sunday along as well.

Actress Nia Long, rocking a wedding band on her ring finger (she and Kez's father Ime Udoka did announce heir enagement recently), hit the mommy errands yesterday.  She brought her nanny and 3 and a half month old baby boy Kez along for some Whole Foods shopping.

Nia and her sons--Kez & Massai--are set to cover an upcoming issue of ESSENCE magazine.  Cute!
